The end of this transaction has been a horrible painful one. We will never do business with Cozy Cabins or its realtors again .We will never recommend this place to anyone. Be warned! We were deceived from the MLS listing all the way to the legal description on the house we purchased. They refuse to settle this by getting a surveyor which we requested. And now they refuse to communicate. They worked together both the seller's agent Ardee and the buyers agent Nancy Jo to push this deal through only having the sellers best interest. Never raised any concerns over the encroachment on this property which if they would have we would not have purchased this house .If Nancy really cared about her clients she should have raised a concern about the encroachment but instead she said nothing. We trusted Nancy with this big purchase, with the paperwork and with our hard earned money and we regret it. We were just a commission check to this company and regrettably are paying the price for it. read more

I've been working with Cozy Cabins to find a rental in the Crestline area, and I can't speak highly enough about the people there. I had a property selected with Cozy Cabins, but ran into issues with the property owner refusing to clean or fix some general maintenance items that had been noted during an inspection of the property. I need to stress that these issues were with the property owner, and not Cozy Cabins, who were not managing the property but only finding tenants for the owner. During what was supposed to be the final move-in inspection, I honestly think that Jean Marie was more upset about the state of the property than I was! I did not accept the property in that state, and Cozy Cabins ultimately decided to cease doing business with that property owner. Throughout the entire process, everyone in the office has been very courteous and professional, and a joy to work with. Since the initial rental property fell through, they have really gone the extra mile to get me into another rental property that they knew would be available in the near future. My son rented a house from them for himself and his family. What a MISTAKE! From rude messages left on his voicemail to the landlord stopping by unannounced for no reason. Harassment to the point of fair housing having to get involved. After moving out they made false claims of damages on top of other things which ultimately led to my son having to take them to court. It ended up with a judge ruling in my son's favor and him getting ALL of his deposit back. Horrible way to conduct business! read more

I have rented Houses or Apartments all over the United States and Europe but have never ever came across unprofessionalism the way I did after renting a house from Cozy Cabin in Crestline CA. We were charged a insane amount for a security deposit (even with perfect credit) which they later tryed to cheat us out of gettining back. That ultimately ended up with us having to take them to court and a JUDGEMENT IN OUR FAVOR!!! They made bogus claims about damges and cleaning which we were able to dispute with pictures we had taken prior to the move out. Be aware of this place and their way of conducting business!!! Save yourself a headache and rent from someone else. Needless to say I would never recommend that place to anyone. read more

We would strongly suggest that NO ONE use this company for any reason. They either ignore any communication or have excuses why business was not done in a timely manner. They act like they are doing you a favor, instead of the fact that you're paying them! We lived in Crestline for over 13 years, (I also worked for a public utility in Crestline for 7 years), 5 years ago we decided to live elsewhere, but keep our home. We had a tiny budget and we're looking for a fixer upper. Our poor agent Nancy Jo helped us look for this tiny rare property for...6 months? 9 months?... It's was a really long time. I purchased my home 4 years ago and during the escrow process, it was mandated the septic tank be pumped and certified. A local licensed C-42 contractor contracted by the realtors, Sean Bennett from Bennett Excavation certified the septic tank as well as, both realtors and broker (Cozy Cabins), who requested to pay for their selected home inspector as well as the home inspector, never disclosed the tanks severe health and safety hazards, due to the condition and location of the tank (located under the cement slab of the garage, which supports the second level of the home and manholes sinking). I did not discover this severe issue until, the septic tank was pumped last year. All parties involved, deny all responsibility! Regardless, the tank continues to deteriorate and I am extremely concerned for my safety and health as well as, my families and neighbors. As "professional" and "knowledgeable" realtors and broker, Cozy Cabins should be accountable for fraud and negligence. I highly adverse, be aware and stay away from this Real Estate company!!!!!! read more

My boyfriend and I are first time home buyers and we have never seen this type of behavior from an agent. You would think it being her job that she would want to stay on good terms with other agents.
