We rented a cabin through VRBO and turned out that this was the rental management company. Overall, it was fine. We exchanged a couple of emails because I had some questions (surprise surprise). The customer service could have been a little better. Nothing terrible but I've (sadly?) taken a class on email etiquette and it's always surprising on how others do not appreciate how important tone and content are in an email. Case in point -- the emails on their end were curt and sometimes incomplete. But the contact person was very pleasant in person. It was kinda strange. Shockingly rude and unprofessional. When you see Lisa or Grant's name on a listing don't even bother, just keep looking. I tried to look at several properties last year listed by San Moritz Realty. They are unpleasant and curmudgeonly on the phone to a level that is disrespectful. They treat you like you are a major inconvenience. I looked at one property through them and she showed up an hour late to the viewing leaving me and my girlfriend standing outside the house. I ended up buying a home in the area a few months later listed through a different agency. I have multiple friends in Crestline that have also had the misfortune of having to deal with San Moritz Realty. My experience is not unique. I honestly feel sorry for these folks at San Moritz Realty because it seems like they have miserable lives based on the way they treat people. I hope they get the therapy they need. It doesn't feel good writing a review this negative but others need to be warned. This agency has a horrible reputation around town and I feel compelled to share this to good people who take interest in moving to Crestline. Don't waste your time trying to get a rental or get renters. Lisa runs the rental and is inept, rude, and only wants to rent low income properties from my experience with her. Her assistant Jackie is very nice, but Lisa makes the decisions and apparently doesn't want business. My neighbors warned me about her. This place won't last and looked shut down all summer. They run ads on Zillow and basically you can do this on r own and screen people online with plenty of site for free. I try to support local companies. just run r own ads. These people just mislead and waste your time, with zero statistics to support anything. Don't go here. For anything.also the owner who i just spoke to " Greg grant" he is the owner of this rental management company and stated " I don't know anything about the rental market ". Wow. Ok then. As I post this review, I see that the overall score is only 3 stars and it is 3 too many. We rented a cabin in the hills for a year through San Moritz Realty. The cabin was obviously very rustic and had not been maintained at all (amongst the many broken down issues, dangerous broke entrance steps and deck for starters) which we were ok with as it was a remote respite for a while. It was 'furnished' which might seem like a good thing until one discovers that old tables are held together underneath with duct tape. Because it was clear when we rented it that it was in disrepair, and yet it served our purpose, we made no complaints. The entire year. If we had, there would have been a daily litany. Upon moveout, which was instituted by the owner who claimed he was going to move back in (although I hear it was, in fact, not he who was actually moving in and that it is another matter), we made sure to return the place to its original state. My anger is directed at Lisa of San Moritz who charged us $130 repair fee for a living room ceiling fan because the owner claims we cut the wires, which is bizarre since it was hot as hell in the summer. As the broken fan was just one of dozens of issues with the rundown place, we did not complain and wrote it off as "It is what it is." According to Lisa " the owner said we're responsible for the bill to repair the fan". To quote Lisa, "he is her client and she must believe him" and pass on the repair bill. No doubt I've gone into way more detail than you wanted to read through but, as these reviews often go, I just got off the phone with Lisa and am venting. SO, DO NOT USE SAN MORITZ REALTY. We discovered much better ones in Crestline during our time there. A $130 loss is not excessive but the unethical conduct of Lisa is what angers me. She makes her money from the owner and made it clear that she is beholden to that. She says that because we did not note on our walkthrough at the beginning that the fan was not working, we are responsible. I told her that in retrospect, we should have called in every single day with the hundreds of issues and demanded they be brought up to speed, which is sarcasm since nothing would be brought up to speed regardless. I should consider myself lucky that the owner didn't seize the opportunity after we moved out to repair everything in the cabin and just pass the bills on to us. And a footnote: Lisa could afford to exhibit a little more pleasantness in her tone in general since she is in the business of dealing with the public. Since day one, we commented that she's a very 'matter of fact' gruff one. Jackie, on the other hand is much more pleasant to deal with. read more

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS AGENCY!!!! Took me off of my lease with my now ex boyfriend without my permission. This was in June and I had a signed lease until October!! They allowed him to change the locks which prevented me from being able to get any of my belongings out of the home. When I called to ask them about it, they told me the owner was fine with it and they didn't need my permission to rewrite the lease. First I must say that the owners of this particular Century 21 seemed to be reasonably nice people, and that I didn't really deal with the Realtors so this doesn't have much to do with them. But I can say that the property rental management portion of the company is THE WORST I have EVER dealt with. Before going up to Crestline to view some properties, I emailed the Rental Manager (Lisa Prochut) to let her know my mother and I were coming and what kind of property we were looking for, nicely asking her if she could let us know of any rentals that fit our needs. She replied by rudely telling me I can just look at the listings online. I told her we'd in Crestline the next day and would like to meet up with her to view some of the properties that were listed online, what time we would be best, and asked a question about a particular property. Her exact response was, "You can just come by." So the next day we drove the two hours up to their offices to meet with Lisa. I told her my name and that I had emailed her yesterday about a home rental. She said "I get a lot of emails." Then handed me a book of some photos of their properties and didn't seems to care whether I had any questions nor seemed to want to help us at all. After finding one property we wanted to look at, she made a copy of my drivers license, handed me a key to the house, and pointed to a location on a map. Luckily we were able to find the house in the first place (considering we had never been to Crestline before). In the middle of said houses driveway was a giant grate, I tried to squeeze past the grate but little did I know there were 2 feet deep indentations in the contract on both sides of the grate. My car scraped and made some crazy noises as it fell into on one of the indentations and hit a cinder block at the end of the indention. My front bumper was partially ripped off the front of my car, and a huge piece of plastic was completely ripped of the bottom of my car. Luckily it seems that nothing was seriously damaged in the engine. We went back to Century 21 and waiting about 15 minutes while Lisa was talking on the phone. It took 10 minutes for her to even acknowledge our presence even though we were standing right in front of her. We proceeded to tell her what happened, that we were very upset, and needed the owners home owner's insurance or contact information to give to my car insurance company. She said all she could do is call him (and he didn't answer). We told her she needs to tell other people about this grate and hole situation or have the owner put up a sign. Her response was "Well it's never been a problem before." I felt like yelling "WELL, IT'S NEVER A PROBLEM UNTIL IT IS!". She also said she knew the grate was there, and had absolutely no empathy for our situation. I had visited several other Realtor in the area that day, and they all kept saying they've been hearing terrible things from other people about this Century 21. I really hope that Lisa changes her act or else gets fired because no one in their right mind wants to be treated like this when they are looking to rent a home. So if you are looking for a home to rent in the Crestline/Lake Gregory area, do not use Century 21 if Lisa Prochut is still the Rental Property Manager unless you want to be treated like the scum of the earth. If you are looking to rent or purchase a house in the area, I recommend Lakeview Realty. Out of all the Realty businesses we visited, they were they nicest and most helpful. They really took the time to help us and were incredible courteous and kind even though they were preparing to have an open house party at their offices and had very little time. read more

My Realtor was Gregg Grant. I can't say enough great things about him. He is very thorough, is great with communicating through out the whole home buying process, and wants everything done right the first time. I went through another Realtor and she felt disconnected and wasn't really in tune with what we wanted in a home. Gregg showed us one house and we put in a full price offer. I will definitely recommend him to anyone looking to buy in our area. Lisa Prochut Rental Manager Century 21 San Moritz Realty I arrived to this office to find it old and run down, smells like dog and it actually had a dog sitting in there . The broker owner must have saved all the money for remodeling to purchase the nice tesla automobile parked outside . Any way I was directed to Lisa prochut who is the rental manager to help me and my parents rent our lake view house. She appeared to be nice and helpful when she realized I wanted to pay her 10% commission and lease Managment our property. She followed me to the property with paperwork for me to sign , took pic of the property and said it looked very nice. 4 weeks pass by no prospective person to rent our home , I started advertising it myself and referring potential people to Lisa for her to show them the property . Lisa refused to show it a family that drove all way from Los angels saying that few of our paperwork is not signed . Another family that I had to personally drive 120 miles to show them the property . she charged them $90 to run there credit and told them they are not qualified. Month and half later Lisa sends me email saying the smoke and carbon monoxide detector not working , two walls need painted , and carpet now needs cleaning and that the handy man they use for property Managment saw the issues but does not want to do these repairs and if he would he would charge $5000. When I refused to pay $5000 for a small living room carpet shampoo , two interior walls painted and placing two batteries in a smoke detector and I would have another handy man go out there , she immediately sent me a 30 day notice that said she will no longer be listing this property for lease bec it's not "up to standard." If you are looking to rent a property in Crestline, I would not recommend Century 21! The rental staff is not knowledgable, misleads homeowners as well as tenants. This office does not believe in customer service! Be aware when doing business with them and make sure you get everything in writing, and I mean everything, or else you may suffer the consequences like we did! Our home was rented without our knowledge(their response was they were too busy to notify us), it was dirty when we returned(their response was they only do spot cleaning, yet charged $65), and we were told we were not entitled to any compensation. Save yourself money and aggravation and look elsewhere. read more
