I thought that the beds were really expensive but I also know that they are very well made. my last mattress was less than a thousand but only lasted five years. this one can be flipped and from the reviews seems like it will last much longer. the full was delivered the next day but the 3/4 we put on hold because they needed exact measurements. this bed frame was built in the 1700s when nothing was standard. it took a month and a half before we were ready to have them make it. after they delivered it they sent me a huge bill for an invoice that i had already paid. i was worried about this, because i had paid so far in advance. another company did this to me and they are still sending me bills ten years later and i have to check my credit report constantly and have on cue a legal argument in case they do, because they wound't fix it. these guys fixed the problem right away and apologized for sending me bills for a month. a lot of companies don't do this kind of service anymore and customers fall through the cracks, so for all these reasons i keep my five star rating.

We worked with Juan during the Year End Sale, to find the perfect mattress, as well as an adjustable base. We had several different configurations that we liked, but ultimately, it came down to availability and timing. When we made our final selection, we were guaranteed delivery by January 10th, and left satisfied and very excited. On January 9th when I hadn't received the scheduling call for delivery, I called the store twice. The first time, the salesperson said I would receive the call later in the evening. The second time, 15 minutes prior to the store closing for the night, I was told I had the wrong delivery date, and that it wasn't coming until the 14th, and offered no other explanation or help. I tried to ask her to look up more information, and she told me, "you must have just gotten the date wrong." I assured her I didn't have the incorrect date, as my invoice had delivery service on the date I stated. She didn't have anything to say, and just told me to get a hold of my sales rep the next day (Juan). Once I spoke with Juan the next day, and explained the situation, and that I was dissatisfied with the service, and that we had specifically picked the setup we did, to avoid delivery even further into the month, he assured me he would do his best to remedy the situation. After placing me on a hold, he came back on and apologized for the trouble, and again said he wanted to keep us happy as returning customers. I had no idea as to what he was going to offer next. He said for all of the trouble, and for the amount of time we had spent in store, he was offering an upgrade to the more expensive mattress that we liked for no additional charge, and delivery the following day! I was absolutely blown away!! As someone that has worked in hospitality, as well as luxury sales, I was very appreciative of his positive attitude, and his willingness to take care of us as customers. Not only did Juan gain us as customers for life, I have also recommended family and friends to go down and see him when they need to purchase a new mattress! What I picked up from their warehouse was not that comfortable. After two years they were completely broken-down and painful to sit on. It turns out someone did not staple together the furniture frame. After months of calling and waiting the store replace both as I had a lifetime warranty on the frame. The new sofa and love seat had the same factory defects as the ones they replaced. They were painful to sit on because someone did not staple together the lower back support. When I told the store manager. She told me they have retroactively changed their lifetime warranty to only one year. Then stopped returning emails, calls and blocked me from commenting on their Facebook ads. I was stuck two sets of broken furniture and nothing to sit on in my new home that didn't hurt my back. Aaron at Holbrooks clearance center in Chico saw my Facebook post about what had happened. He commented "They didn't even offer to fix it? I work at Holbrooks clearance center in Chico. We fix stuff for people that's years old. If we get stuff damaged like that. We return it to the manufacturers and get a new set for our customers. That's not good what they are doing." I should have bought my furniture from Holbrooks but I was stuck now, well, no I was not. At Holbrooks clearance center in Chico they have a heart. Aaron looked at the pictures and said bring it in I can fix that. I didn't buy it from them but I will never buy furniture anywhere else in the future. Aaron repaired the factory defects in my new furniture at the Holbrooks store in Chico. Thanks to Aaron's repair work. I can finally sit in comfort to enjoy my new home. It's been hard since the Camp fire destroyed everything we had in the world. There are many people out there ready to take advantage of our disaster to cheat us or rip us off. We must help ourselves. The people at Holbrooks Clearance Center in Chico were kind to this survivor. They are people we can trust to buy furniture when the PG&E money finally comes. Less than three years into their new replacement mattress, the sparrow the foam is now starting to degrade, and when I brought this to their attention and attempted to utilize their comfort guarantee, they said that the mattress was not eligible because I didn't technically "purchase" the mattress that it was given to me as a warranty replacement. Hence, there are no guarantees or warranties was their implication. They never gave me the option to just return my money from the bed that went bad instead they just gave me a brand new mattress with no warranty or no guarantee. This company is shady.
