Really quite nice. They have a wide variety of sandwiches available. I tried their "New Yorker"…read moresandwich, which was very tasty, fresh ingredients, good across the board. It's also pretty quick...less than a 5 minute wait and I visited around 11:30 a.m. Only docking 1 star because the sandwiches were kinda small, although they were priced fairly well. Note that the cafe is located in the lower floor of the larger building, so it's a little tricky to find. If you park in the front of the building, walk through it to the back and then go downstairs.

I'd read another review saying this place gets busy between 12:00-2:00pm, so I wanted to make sure we got there a little early. There were a few other people looking at the menu, so it was pretty calm. I ordered the Turkey Breast Panini. I wish it came with a side - even if it was just a bag of chips - so I also ordered a side of french fries. My total cost was $9.82. The sandwich is a bit pricey and I don't think they put a lot of turkey on it to be worth $6.88, but it was tasty. I did enjoy the fries! They were cooked to perfection and very crispy! I added some salt because it looked like they were just plain. My co-worker and I sat outside on the patio and enjoyed a beautiful, sunny, warm day (77 degrees!) in Feb! We left about 12:30pm and the place was PACKED!!! There was a huge line and lots of people standing around waiting for their food. If you want fast service without a crowd, definitely stop by before Noon! And if you want to eat outside, get there before their busy hours. I would come back for lunch, try a new menu item and grab office snacks since they have a good selection to choose from. Overall, a nice place for lunch and a great way to spend an hour out of the office.

Service was friendly, and they were nice enough to explain the menu. As of right now, they aren't requiring the $68 per guest meal on Friday and Saturdays, but they will eventually. I'm not sure I could eat enough to justify that price, but I guess you always have the option to take some of it home. This time, they allowed me to order anything from the menu and provided good suggestions. I also liked that they let me try out a variety of items on the menu and I could mix and match the food. The food was very good. The charcoal kebabs were very tasty. The ambiance is nice, but still a casual atmosphere. Prices are a little expensive. I also think they could be a little more attentive in refilling water considering they weren't super busy. I would come back here, but likely not on a Friday and Saturday when they start requiring the per person set meal price.

NOTE: Long introduction. Move to the 2nd paragraph for the actual review…read more I drove through South Riding Market Square looking for a place to pick up food. To my surprise I see a döner kebab place. On my last business trip to Germany, I made it my goal to eat a döner kebab every day during my 2-week trip. That was a couple years ago and I haven't had anything like it since...so naturally I can't wait to take that stroll down memory lane. Doner kebab shops in Germany are like the Chinese take-outs joints in the US, or the chicken tikka masala of the UK. It's not the native local food, but they are so ubiquitous, and undoubtedly part of the national identity. All that to say...I'M SUPER EXCITED to try the food here. I step inside the dark interior, but it looks very clean, modern, and hip...complete with overhead digital menu boards, and self-order kiosk. I place my to-go order on the kiosk and wait. The 3 or 4 guys behind the counter are busy at work. I feel a little guilty peppering them with questions, but I just had to know more. I find out through the owner (Hash) that the restaurant has only been in business for 2 months, and my 2nd question to him was basically how authentic this place is. While Hash is from the US, he said his family lives in Germany and goes back there often. I warn him, my expectations are through the roof now. LOL. I get home and share some of my doner kebab with my wife, and she loved it. So much so, that 3 days later, she recommends we stop by again for a sit down meal. I was looking forward to speaking with Hash again, but instead Jeremy was there. I let him know that I'm really excited to be there again, this time with the whole family in tow. While we were eating, we had an employee check up on us. Later on Jeremy checked up on us again, but this time we had an extended conversation, talking about all sorts of things, like food and travel. He even offered me another drink which was super appreciated. Bottomline: their veggies are mostly fresh vs pickled which to me doesn't seem as authentic, and placing an order through a self-service kiosk also detracts from the experience, it's the only place I know that has döner kebab. The biggest drawback is the price (compared to Germany...I remember paying like 7 or 8 EUR), but factor in the exchange rate and the huge portion size, the price actually is very reasonable. I can't wait to come back and throw them my money. I highly recommend this place.

Had the beef and lamb option with white sauce and spicy sauce. Fresh, hot, and delish! The service was just as great as the food. Everyone behind the counter was patient and courteous. I got some pupusas and an horchata to go and both were excellent! My favorites were the corn pupusas with chicharron and the Loco pupusa that includes everything (cheese, pork, beans)! Yum! All pupusas regardless of the filling were all $3.50 and they are pretty big! Upon pickup, the pupusas were still hot with crunchy side bits. Not soggy at all. They also come with a free side of guacamole, this sour cream type dip, and pickled coleslaw! FYI: no seating inside.

We took the pupusas home (the place is takeout only) and the split them between us three. It was a nice surprise to find little bags of slaw and sauce on top of the containers of pupusas. We got the cheese, bean (black), cheese and loroco (a flowering herb) with cheese, and squash (zucchini) with cheese. They all had their good points, but my family's favorite was the bean, while mine was the cheese, as it seemed extra buttery. We also really liked the one with loroco, as the little flower buds were a combination of earthy, floral, herby and a little tangy, and unlike anything we've eaten before. The pupusas were larger than we expected, and I felt like it was a great value, too. We had two with the rice dough and two with the corn dough - and they were both good, with the rice dough a bit chewier. The cabbage slaw had bits of carrot and zucchini with a slightly sweet tomato-y dressing. My son liked the crunch of it, but I like my cabbage sliced more thinly and a little more "marinated". Tasted good, either way! The tomato based sauce they gave was very mild. Again, it is carry-out only, there are a couple of chairs inside where you can wait for your order - we sat out front on the planter walls eating our pastry while we waited. The place is clean and bright, service was good and quick, and it's definitely a place I would go to again.
