Adana Kabab Platter
Lynne T.

This restaurant is located inside a grocery store, just walk straight to the back when you walk through the doors. The kabab was soooooo good, the size of the platter was humungous. You can choose between white or yellow rice and it comes with pickled peppers & veggies and garlic spread on the side. Note: there is decent amount of parking spots outside, this shop is located around some other businesses.

An Arab grocery store located in Chantilly. The space is a bit tight and can get crowded, but the variety of options more than makes up for it. Prices are fair and reasonable. There's also a restaurant tucked in the back that draws quite a crowd -- and for good reason, judging by how busy it was. The customer service stood out as well; even with a long line, the cashier was friendly and took a moment to chat. If you're looking for Arab groceries, this place has you covered.

Amazingly tasty food. Authentic middle eastern food - the rice, hummus and meat were delicious. Loved finding so many grocery items that I haven't seen since I was in Dubai over a decade ago. Friendly staff. The only downside that I wasn't aware of, is that when you make a food order, the bakery / pastry items are given separate to the meat / rice salad items (at a different counter) and no one made me aware of that - and this was my first visit. The food was incredible and we will be back again soon

Soup of the day 7/10

A hidden gem! I reallyyyy enjoyed my food experience at this spot. It felt so traditional and authentic. The restaurant is inside the grocery store. Just walk to the back of the grocery store and you'll see a halal deli, dessert and bread area, and the restaurant. The service was fairly fast at making the food. We ordered: The soup of the day to start 7/10 it was like a more liquidy lentil daal type of soup. It had a lemon like flavor to it which threw me off a bit. Lahmacun Pide - flaky and flavorful 10/10 Adana Kabab Mega Mix 10/10 Desserts- some were delicious and some of them had a weird taste like they were frozen and defrosted. Overall, I'll definitely be going back and trying their other pides and more menu options. The wraps looked amazing so I might try those next!

I was surprised by the variety of goodies they had that reminded me of my brief time in Turkey. The prices for the most part are very reasonable. They also have a tiny food court with some food available to order and some bread, but I went near closing so the offerings were very limited. Will have to go back to try those dishes.

Grocery store is fabulous but food is phenomenal. Very unpretentious but delicious mediterranean grocery store with a small restaurant in the back. Located in an industrial park no less ! Everything looks delicious. I had the chicken kabob wrap that was outstanding. Don't miss the sweets either ! Can't wait to go back !

Yummy food!

Very authentic and delicious Turkish style food. Groceries and desserts along with old style tea and bread add to the pleasantries. A little cramped but the taste makes up for it

DRY DRY DRY DRY GROSS!!!!!!! PUKE!!!!!!!!!!

The food from here was terrible!! Everything was absolutely dry and disgusting!! I don't even know how they could call themselves a Mediterranean restaurant!! I have never ever in my life had anything so terrible! I'm so sorry to review it this way, but I have to be honest with my fellow Yelpers. I ordered the Lahm Bi Ajin and it was DRY as a desert!!! I also ordered the Grilled Lamb Chops Platter and the lamb chops were SUPER DRY and FULL OF Grizzle!!!!!! I had to SPIT IT OUT!!!!! I tossed out that whole meal because it was super GROSS!!! My friend ordered the Doner Wrap Shrak Bread with Steak and his was super DRY as well!!! Needless to say, we will never ever ever be ordering from here ever again!!!! we ordered from Uber Eats and the service from them was great, but the food was terrible!!!

We arrived to a location which was seemed like it was not meant to really be a storefront which is fine. Unfortunately for us though, they did not have all the items in our order because they had taken them to the farmers market. It is a bit frustrating that my cousin ordered ahead and half of our order was not there because it was taken to be sold elsewhere. We named up just getting the mooncakes and a corn pastry. The moo cakes left something to be desired. The flavors were not strong so I couldn't tell which mooncake was what flavor. The corn pastry was quite good. The crust was flaky and the custard was creamy and delicious. I did enjoy the corn pastry but my experience was a logistical nightmare and unfortunately I don't think my cousin got her money back.

Among the baked goods I sampled were some intriguing flavors with quality, but some items were a bit dry, leading to croissants that were just a bit too flaky to be practical. Preordering for either this retail location or for various farmers markets is an option, and that may yield a more interesting selection. Still, I think it's reasonable to want to just buy some high-quality Asian baked goods, and when I compare this to the experience at the top places in the area, I don't know why I needed to come here.

They had savory and sweet pastries available. All of them looked so good so it was difficult to choose. We needed up getting the ham and cheese pastry- which was crispy, warm, and tasty! My friend got the crème brûlée cappuccino and I got the pistachio latte- both were really good and smooth! This was my favorite pistachio latte ever (just fyi- no coffee was in it). Would definitely come back and would love to try some other offerings; though, I would get all the things we ordered again. The staff is incredibly friendly and willing to answer questions. They have a huge selection of cakes, pastries, cream puffs, breads, and even sandwiches. I very much enjoyed the matcha croissant squares which are super light and flaky. Any of their almond pastries are delicious! Be warned most of their pastries are pretty big so you should be prepared to share. I haven't tried their cakes yet but will be ordering from them for the next occasion. I wasn't too impressed with their version of the smoked salmon open sandwich because it was difficult to eat. Everything fell apart and/or would break down easily to make a balanced bite. I would imagine it's the same for all of the open sandwiches. Everyone should give this spot a chance if you passing through the chantilly area.

I wanted a doughnut, but didn't want the whole thing for myself, so I lightly nudged my sweet tooth friend to split one with me. I knew he wasn't going to say no. It required very little to no convincing. Sadly, they were out of half of their options, but we tried the PANDAN CUSTARD DOUGHNUT (4.65) because we both like pandan. The custard was creamy with a strong pandan flavor. The donut was soft and chewy with a delicious sugar layer. I'm sure these have been sitting out for a few hours, so I'm impressed how well they hold up. I would definitely pay the price for these delicious doughnuts again.

Start to finish quality. They care about what goes into their products and care about the finished products. Reasonably priced, and in my opinion, a better value than most of the area competition. At the time of this review, this is not a sit down venue. Expect no frills when you walk in, but delectable goods in-hand when you walk out! I've been looking for one for years in this area & have finally found it. My favorite bakery. Why? It's not a cool trendy or fancy venue, but the owners take the time to take care of you when you walk in. They're just starting to build their storefront in this industrial/commercial kitchen kinda setting, so please don't expect glam. Also, don't write them off until you've given their cakes a shot. Asian-style. Light fluffy, not too sweet cakes with lots of yummy whipped cream. Fresh & yummy flavors. If you're a heavy buttercream fan, this bakery may not appeal to your palate or texture preferences, but if you enjoy fresh cream cakes....mmmm mmmm goood! Other Asian-style bread items are available and their tofu chips are addicting. They're roasting their own coffee beans, too, which make a really smooth cup of java. Tasty. This mom & pop seem to really love what they do, they work extremely hard every day, and they really want their customers to have a good experience with their products. I love that they're often working on new recipes and creating new products to add to their line-up. This bakery is a must try at least once. And, maybe...just maybe... you'll enjoy their delicious treats as much as I do & be glad you found this off the beaten path local bakery.
