Same issue at wegmans in Leesburg which used to have decent selection of organic produce. It must bee driven by the corporate (?) Hot food bar - nothing appealing to eat.. loaded with sugary and/or over-salty sauces or super oily. Pluses: Bakery items and meals2Go - generally good so far. Fresh seafood options. Prepared foods - options and quality improving. Found ONE "all organic turkey" sandwich which was quite good. Staff are very courteous and helpful. (well except one lady in the cheese section). === Thank G for Whole Foods few lights down (better, not great but) and Mom's Organics (3 thumbs up!!) in Herndon

This grocery store has somewhat better quality produce and deli products compared with other…read moregrocery stores. Their prices also reflect that. I came here today to purchase anCesar Chicken wrap at $7 which under other circumstances would cost less than $5. The quality of the wrap a slightly better here, however probably not enough to justify a $2 price increase. When I came here today it did seem like they had a few promotions for some of the summer fruit and produce that they are more than likely phasing out for the fall season. The store is definitely modern and they have a sushi section as well which is nice. Today I found the few items that I was looking for and everything went just fine. There were many people available to assist customers and everyone seemed happy to be working here.

I wanted to like harris teeter as some sort of middle ground in terms of quality and price but everything I've gotten here is bad one way or another. Produce and bread that goes bad fast, store branded items that just taste off, overpriced, tiny, and dry rotisserie chicken. The parking situation is pretty good though.

RESTON WHOLE FOODS NO LONGER SAFE FOR WOMAN - NO SECURITY…read more This is for the SAFETY reason of this area and WOMEN should stay away from this whole-foods area at Reston. I was at this Reston Whole Foods location to pick up grocery. I parked at designated pickup area spot 2 to pick up my groceries. A very nice associate came to load the groceries. This is my weakly routine I pick up grocery from Whole Foods after work or on the weekend. While she was groceries a whole food a customer white male told me to move to which both associate and myself were a little stunned since this is the grocery pickup spot. The white male then proceed to yell at me "cunt whore and he will fuck me" and continued his yelling. There are other Whole Foods in northern Va and other grocery store. He was upset that I was at the designated pickup spot (where I should be). He was verbally abusive, aggressive, sexist, racist and a danger to any women customers in the area. He wanted whoever is picking him up to come to the grocery pickup spot I had parked. This is odd because basically he wants me to move from a grocery pickup spot so he can have it. Keep in mind I'm in the middle of still getting my grocery picked up my door is open and Whole Foods lady is still loading the car. Again to clarify this is all happening right in front of the store online grocery pick up area. The Whole Foods manager said they cannot do anything. They do not know the security staff WHICH IS VERY CONCERNING. So if anything ever happens to any female customer the the Whole Foods managers don't even know the security officer. This whole-foods staff literary does not care or can ensure minimum safety for any customers specially women. Don't come here. IF YOU ARE A WOMAN, STAY AWAY FROM THIS WHOLE FOODS. They do not have any security in the area. If someone comes and is aggressive with you there is no one to help or save you or diffuse the situation. I was lucky I got away with only verbal abuse and curse words. This unruly customer will probably come to this store again and next time will most likely abuse another woman and get away with it.

A new checkout line opened and the cashier clearly called out to me -- "I can help you over here, sir." As I stepped forward, a woman behind me rushed ahead, cut directly in front of me, and dumped her items onto the counter. The cashier said nothing and immediately began checking her out, without even glancing at me. It was humiliating. What's the point of having a line if people can just ignore it and cut ahead with zero consequences? Even someone further back in line offered to let me go first -- they could see what had happened -- but by that point I was too shocked and honestly hurt to continue. I returned all my items and left. It stayed with me the rest of the day and even now, I still can't shake how wrong it felt. This isn't just about one rude customer -- it's about the store allowing that behavior to happen, unchallenged, right in front of them. If respect and basic fairness can't be upheld at checkout, I have no reason to shop here again.
