    A modest salad bar.

I can't find anything bad to say about this place, but I can't find anything great to say either. My wife and I came here on a Friday evening. The place is showing its age, but it is well kept and maintained. It has the rustic old west look, and is quite quaint. We were seated immediately as they weren't busting down the door to dine here. The first thing I noticed was the modest salad bar. They offer a soup and salad deal. After reviewing the menu, I decided on the taco salad. This is lettuce, tomatoes, black olives, onions, green peppers, taco meat, cheddar cheese, & tortilla chips, comes with sauce sour cream, and salsa.the meal was out in 10 - 15 minutes. They came on a plate instead of a bowl, no biggie. The salad was sparse on lettuce, but everything was good. All in all this was a good meal in a nice place with a charming waitress. I am thinking of giving their breakfast menu a try.

I have to admit this is a diner I kind of forgot about! It's a place I need to remember. Great diner experience. Breakfast, lunch and dinners available. Many lunches and diners include soup and salad bar, which are both pretty good! Today they had 1 soup on the salad bar, but they also had 2 more available (from the kitchen). Price was very reasonable! I think my Tips w/Noodles were something like $9, and that included unlimited soup and salad! Top that off with a nice selection on pies, cakes, bars and cookies. We each got a peanut butter cookie... and it was amazing!

A little jewel in Manitowoc Wi! Great food at a good price, friendly staff and home-made pies, cookies and pastries! Now that's a deal.

The service was fantastic all night. And the food. You get what you pay for, truly. This is a nice spot and the food is drool worthy. It's plated so nicely, everything was cooked to perfection, and they did a great job of complimenting sides with entrees. The cheese curds were also unique and fantastic. If you're in the area and want a dinner you know will be good, this is the spot.

We had the cheese curds for the appetizer and my husband had the pork tenderloin and I had the crusted chicken. All of our food was absolutely delicious- served hot, and perfectly seasoned. My husband commented that it tasted like a chef was in the kitchen. Think metropolitan, high-end restaurant quality food! Prices are very reasonable for the quantity and quality. The ambience is charming yet fresh and modern. Very clean. I would suggest to dress resort casual or nicer for an evening meal. The service was attentive and welcoming. There is room for a large group. Outside seating is available, but I wouldn't recommend because it is near a busy traffic light which would detract from the experience. Don't hesitate to try the Courthouse Pub for a delicious, memorable meal.
