Lo and behold the gnats are coming over to my seat , I'm having to swat them away the entire time and no one really cares that gnats are flying around me , crawling on the same towel my feet are being worked on. (THROW THAT THING OUTSIDE!!!) And the entire time, they have a fussy child screaming and crying persistently the entire time, and they're playing YouTube children videos VERY LOUDLY. So that was my background noise for my service. Granted they did what they were asked but the ambience ruined the whole experience and I honestly couldn't take this place seriously. And the gnats persisted to fly around me, swatting one of my legs- I had to look for other places to get my nails done during my service here because no way I was staying another hour through this. We were trying to celebrate and as soon as I asked the lady and guy who were the only two employees told us to look in the cooler as I saw two big boxes of full red cabernet and pinot grigio. I asked for a glass of red wine and the man told me that they were sold out.. I said I am 3 years above the minimum age to drink, we checked beforehand, and I physically lifted a box of full red before coming back to ask. He was so extremely rude! He said again, no we are sold out. He laughed angrily and deemingly accused me of being too young and that they don't want to get into trouble. We just left. They lost 70$, yes because we always tip. He never asked for my identification which i always have. He ruined the mood for me and my boyfriends romantic vibe. And I'm so angry I'm shaking at this mean man! He just straight up lied and said they were sold out and told me to not get into trouble. I'm over 5 and a half feet with an engagement ring on my finger and a nose ring. Especially ones that are sanitary…read more I tried Sky Nails today and my appointment was for 3:00 p.m. I arrived at 2:55 p.m. When I walked in, there were two ladies having their fingernails worked on. There are only two people who work here so, obviously both technicians were busy. I picked out my color and patiently waited. it was 3:40 p.m. before my pedicure was started. I allowed an hour for this, so obviously I had no time left to get the Deluxe pedicure I wanted. Instead, I had to settle for the basic pedicure. The man who did my pedicure did a good job, so I thought maybe I would give them another chance and try making another appointment for another time. I asked the lady that works there if mornings were less busy. She basically told me in not so many words that she didn't want my business because I asked if I would have to wait 40 minutes every time I came in for a pedicure. I explained in a calm voice that it was not fair to me that I had to wait while their other customers received the services they wanted and now I couldn't get the service I really wanted because I had other commitments and now I will be late for those. She did not seem interested in my explanation and did not bother to offer a future appointment. Bottom line, they have a nice clean shop and they do good work, but if you schedule an appointment, be prepared to be there longer than you expect. If you're ok with not sticking to a schedule, then I highly recommend this place for nails. If you are the type who has a schedule that you need to follow, find another shop.

I had to get this hands ready for the shake. The other lady that was there wasn't going to help me but thanks to a nice customer getting a pedicure by Lona, made some comments and Lona very softly said "I take you". The pedicure was delicious. I did the Smoothing Pedicure. The aroma of the products she used were delicious. Aromatherapy included! The massage with the scrub and the lotion were delicious. She really didn't rush through it. And polish application could use a little help but is not looking like my left hand did my right hand when I was in 1r grade, ha! We're good. They were not going to take me for my hands but I waited for the service. They made me wait till last appointment for my hands even thought they were not busy but I understand the people that were there had appointments that were actually written down. They decided to all show up! They were not happy and were talking among themselves very frustrated. I'm sorry but I really appreciate you guys squeezing me in. When I walked in, I was greeted right away and I was really impressed by how clean and organized the salon was. I asked for a dip color change on my nails, and Rachel did an excellent job. I have been getting dip on my nails for years. and Rachel was hands down the most thorough technician I have ever had. She was kind, patient, focused, and her technique was very detailed. This appointment took a little over an hour, which is longer than I'm used to, but so worth it-- My nails look flawless! Being this was my first time, I think I got lucky calling in time for an appointment. It's a small salon with a small staff (from what I could tell) and based on my observations, they seem to run primarily on appointments. They do take walk-ins, but I gathered that they tend to have enough appointments on the books that they don't have as much room for walk-ins. Again, this was just my observation as I was getting my nails done. I can't compliment them enough on their operations from my first phone call, to the service, to payment, and the sweet "Merry Christmas" from the staff as I left. Highly recommend. I can't wait to go back!
