This is the second Wednesday in a row I have tried to visit this nail salon although they say on their front door their hours are Monday through Saturday 10 AM to 7 PM and Sundays from 11 AM to 7 PM they're not open on Wednesdays if you call them (615) 792-4988 you'll get a voicemail and you won't be able to reach anyone. I'd like to give them a try since they are so close to my home but I don't know if my schedule will work out if/when I find out when they are open. Yesterday I passed buy and it seems there were cars out front so they may work on Tuesdays. It would be a good idea if this business clarified their hours.

just entirely to thick when i asked for it fixed

i've never been one to speak up when i don't like my nails and i did today and the gentleman working on my nails didn't seem to like that because it doesn't look any better from when i asked him to fix it.

Hard working hands with tough as hell manicure.

Even though I'm relatively new to manicures, I know a good thing when I see it. Alex does my dip mani and damn is he good! Detail oriented and focused. I ask for him every time and have never been dissatisfied. His work lasts for 4 weeks even when I'm busting ass around the house and the farm (at least winter work...we'll see how this goes now that spring is coming).

6 days later my nails still rock!!! Great work.

One of my favorite scenes from the movie Legally Blond is when Elle was frantically looking for a nail salon to free her mind, relax, and receive a little TLC- this is exactly what I got at Ashland Nails. I came in on Saturday afternoon for a gel manicure. It was a bit on a whim, and luckily they accepted walk-ins. I picked out my color but the nail technician suggested that I get ring finger accent nails for Valentine's Day, so I agreed. The gel manicure included: the removal of old gel polish, clean up the nails, warm water soak, trim, cuticle care, buffed out, gel polish, and then a light hand massage. The salon was clean, spacious, and I appreciated that they used packaged manicure tools on each client to ensure good sanitation practices. I was very happy with the outcome and six days later I continue to receive compliments on my nails. I will definitely be back.

Totally bad experience. my mom told the woman she wanted her nails left long, and the woman cut them all way too short. so she told her they were too short, she didn't want them painted and just be done with her manicure. yet they still charged her full price when all they did was trim her nails. I opted for a gel manicure and didn't know that all manicure perks were not going to be offered. cuticles not pushed back or trimmed, no lotion or massage. will not ever go back, felt very rushed even though they were not busy. very displeased, no good nail options for Ashland City residents.

I shouldn't even be putting 1 star, this place is so bad. At first I went to go get a manicure done and it was fine. I decided to make an appointment for the next day to get a pedicure. I scheduled for 10:00 am and got there a little before 10 and had to wait another 10-14 minutes after my appointment to get my pedicure done. The service was nice with the lady who did my nails. I have nothing against her. But she did cut my right toe nail extremely too short. I'm not a nail tech, however I do know that you're not supposed to cut the sides of your nails really short. That leads to your nail growing through your skin causing an ingrown nail to occur. Which unfortunately that happened to me. My nail started hurting the moment she cut my nail, but I trusted her that she knew what she was doing. My toe nail had gotten much worse as the days progressed so I decided to come back to the nail salon to tell them what happened. The lady who did my pedicure wasn't there unfortunately but a man was there. I tried to explain to him what happened and he tried telling me it's normal to get an infection, that he gets infections all the TIME, and that it was my fault. The thing is, my toe started hurting that same day even right when I stepped out the nail salon. There was another lady there working and she came to look at my toe and I showed her the picture I took that morning of all the green puss coming out. She was talking to him in another language (which I want to clarify I have no problem with speaking another language around people. This is america you have the freedom to speak your language) He started arguing with her most likely telling her the same thing he told me, that it's my fault. So I asked for a refund since I had to go to the doctor to check my toe out and prescribe my medication. He said he would give me my money back but that I'm banned from ever coming back to the salon. He acted like he was going to give me my money but continued to argue with me telling me it's my fault. Of course I was furious at this point. We started yelling at each other like animals and he then got his phone out and said he was going to record everything. Totally unnecessary. I threatened to record with my phone too so he told me he was going to call the police for having my phone out the same as him. Then he wanted to take my phone and go through all my photos and videos. Which he has no right to do so. Of course I didn't let him so he threatened to call the police. My little sister who has down syndrome was upset at all the yelling and he didn't care. I didn't get my money back and ended up spending more money to go to the doctor and get antibiotics for my infection. Don't come here unless you want to get harassed by that man. I wish i knew his name. He definitely did not look like the owner. (Let me just add, I had to pay $100 for the doctor. $85 for the doctor visit and $20 for the antibiotics and the ointment cream. In total $100 and I still didn't get my money back. My toe is throbbing in pain. I wish it could end. And the fact that man had the audacity to say it's normal to get an infection and that it's not their fault they cut my nail horribly wrong. I am definitely not done with this place until I get my money back.)

My mother and I went to Ashland Nails today to check it out and see if it might be a good place to have my bridesmaids and I come before my wedding next month. Little did we know we would be stumbling upon such a gem. Immediately when we walked in, we were greeted by a pleasant atmosphere and smiling faces. My mother got their deluxe pedicure and I got a more basic pedicure and gel french manicure. All three of the services we received were wonderful. They took time to make sure everything was done with excellence. We weren't in a rush so we weren't worried about spending the time there but a few people came in to receive quick manicure fixes or quick full manicures and they were very accommodating and got them in and out quickly. We will definitely be returning for my weekend week. I highly recommend this place.

Nice, clean and friendly. Massage on legs was a bit more pressure than I like but overall very nice.

Ashland City Nails. Excellent courteous service. Even on a busy day!

Clean & nicely decorated. Friendly staff. Quality services. A bit pricier than what I'm used to, but not upset about it at all

I did dip my first visit and they were done nicely. I like thinner nails so for me gel are the way to go. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. This is my place I like the best and you will too.

I don't usually get nail art, but for a summer treat, I chose some fruit designs from their Instagram. I easily made an appointment through Instagram DMs and spoke in advance about their fruit nail art. The guy doing my nails was definitely not as comfortable (described himself as unconfident) in nail art, so I was surprised he was assigned to my appointment. Don't get me wrong, they turned out super cute, but I feel like there was a disconnect between the employee making my appointment and the technician which could've made the process more smooth (for him and me) and more similar to the online photos. All of the employees were kind and made sure I was comfortable in my chair, dialed in my shade of red, and provided complementary water. The other customers in the salon were clearly repeat customers who love their nail technicians and sing DIP's praises. Jayden is possibly the owner or at least a top dog at the salon who was busy as a nail tech and helped when the cashier had issues. I got gel removal and gel color change with 4 nail art designs for $55, before tax and tip. I'll definitely be back! (They don't do henna, I just already had it from a Yelp Nashville event.)

I told crystal about past experience with previous hairdresser. I showed her pictures of how my daughter cut my hair. Explained I wanted same color and same cut. She had me turned away from mirror when put on die. It was black, she said Don't worry it lightens up. I told her my hair lightens up, cause I'm outside alot. Then she left on for one hour. Rinsed off and my hair was dark brown. Far from blonde. Then she cut how she wanted. I wanted a Bob, chin length. She cut out around my ears and layered all over. Then to top it off charged $100. I should have questioned then and there, but didn't want to make a scene. I texted her when I got home. She said price difference was cause when I came in and asked for cut and touch-up. I asked for cut and color. Then she said you wanted hair same as your hair in back of your head. I resent her the pics and they were not even close. Would not recommend.
