started off with a pedicure with a simple polish as I always do, David prepped my already dip nails (that were not great and too thick from a previous salon) with foil to soak off while I was getting my pedicure and he helped me pick an amazing color for spooky season! I was so indecisive. the conversations were great, lots of laughs and his wife daisy did my nails with builder gel that I was trying for the first time. she did an incredible job, she was very meticulous and my nails look incredible. she did a new shape on my that she felt would fit my nails and hands and I am obsessed. 10/10 would recommend and will be going back.! read more

I had an inspo picture for my nails. I have been to them three times now. each time I leave unhappy with my nails. the manicurist are very sweet and nice. my nails just look very different after I leave. The vibe of the place is nice, they offer complimentary drinks and snacks. when I get French tips they take it way to far down the nail. They also never out the pink polish underneath the French tip when I ask. It sucks, I love going for the environment but hate leaving unhappy with my nails read more

Do not use the man at this salon. Today this man did not listen to my request. He did my nails wrong and I kindly pointed this out. He because angry yelling at me in front of other customers, throwing bowls extremely rude. He blamed me for his not paying attention. Very poor French manicure that was not dry when I left. I've had my nails down here ONCE, which was one too many times but I needed my toes done so I thought how bad could it be right? WRONG! Side note: it was the only place open on Sunday. The technician was rude like I was inconveniencing her for PAYING her to do her job. After getting my nails done at enough places you try and tune out the obvious conversations about the patrons that pay their salaries, but it still irks me. But as I went to check out she ran my card, I gave a tip in cash and apparently she forgot to charge me $20 for the gel, ok no big deal, but I'm looking at the total and it didn't add up. $35 for the pedi, $20 for the gel so why the hell was it $80?! So I went in and asked and she said it was for getting my eyebrows cleaned up (NOT SHAPED) just cleaned up and my lip AND SHE BURNED MY FACE!! This is NOT West End! It's some strip mall nail salon in Dickson and a eyebrow and lip wax should not cost more than $15, certainly NOT $25!! I'm livid!! This place has ripped my daughter and her friend off in the past! Once? Ok, but multiple people having the same experience? Something is wrong with this establishment! There are much nicer places DO NOT waste your time or frustration! read more

I don't normally complain on social media but I gave the owner's wife the opportunity to correct the poor work/ bad quality of product. I had nail dip done and in just a few days (5) the dip started lifting up and one nail completely came off. Instead of soaking to take the old off and preserve my natural nail she started prying the old off which ripped my natural nails off. When I objected to the way this was done, she had another employee bring me $50 and threw it at me saying, "old is off, I not fix and you can go". So take heed that even if work appears good at first, they do not back up their work! read more

Had a very good mani-pedi while on vacation in Tennessee. This salon definitely had more of what I remember about Southern salons compared to northern (a push for acrylics vs. gel polish). It took some time but it was worth it. I have had my mani-pedi for a week and the manicure has not ONE chip in it. All I have done is add one coat of clear top coat on the sixth day. That extra time they had me sit under the dryer was worth it! Also, upgrading to the spa pedi is worth it. Very relaxing. read more

I went in today, got a full set of acrylic with polish ($25). Everything was going great, the guy was super gentle filing my natural nail, he wasn't rough or anything. But when it came to putting the acrylic on he was just rushing through it. He filed the acrylic super hard. When it came to painting my nails he rushed through that as well. He had me drying them for 10 minutes. I went to lift my hand out & went too high & ended up burning my finger on the heat source in there, which, I will admit is my own stupidity. I gave him a $5 tip anyway. Got out to my car to discover my nails weren't even dry & I completely jacked up the polish on my right thumb. I'm so disappointed. read more

Went here to get a mani/pedi 2 years ago. It had the best nail salon reviews in Dickson. They had several Asian women working in there and our mani/pedis were good. Needed a mani/pedi back in October. Again they had the best nail salon reviews in Dickson. WRONG!! I had made an appointment and when I arrived there was only one young Asian girl who showed me in and then disappeared in the back somewhere. Next thing I know there are 3 middle aged Asian men (Vietnamese). I don't remember the name of the man who did my nails but he was not friendly. He did a very lousy job on my cuticles. My manicure turned out alright despite that. He also did not do a very good job on my pedicure. He did not scrub my heels well so they were still rough. Not only that but I had sores on that small narrow ankle area above my heels where he had scrubbed that area too hard! Furthermore he did not use a base cost on my toenails before applying the dark red polish. (When I got a REAL pedicure 2 weeks later in California I saw just how discolored my toenails were!) I paid for the mani/pedi and even gave him a tip but I will never go back there. I felt very uncomfortable with just me and 3 middle aged men there in that salon. Surely there must be a better nail salon in all of Dickson.... Don't go here! Find another nail salon! read more

I can't rate them highly enough! I was in desperate need of pampering after flying into town with three dogs, and Mi Mi's delivered. I know I'm not spelling her name correctly, but Ti gave me a wonderful Spa Manicure and Pedicure. It was a truly relaxing experience. Now, for the best part. I don't usually get manicures because many estheticians don't care about each individual nail as much as I do; I can usually do a better job myself. However, Ti showed a lot of care in applying my polish, making sure each nail was coated very well, especially with the top coat. Her work paid off, as it's been 8 days since I was there and my nails still look amazing! Even though I've been unpacking moving boxes and cleaning all week. Will definitely visit again when I am in town. Bonus: you can pay with card and add tip to your card! read more

I've been going to MiMi nails for a few years for pedicures, and have had very good overall service there. That being said, I went in for an acrylic set and manicure and had the worst service ever! It was an older man that did my nails, he was rude, falling asleep during the procedure, and tried to skip steps (like taking care of the cuticles...). The acrylic was globby and uneven, the nails were cut different lengths, and the gel polish was not done well. If you do go there, avoid the older thin man, he's terrible at his job! If I ever do go back, I won't be sitting at his table again. read more
