Yes, 40 minutes after my appointment was supposed to begin. No updates, no options to choose my colors, just stuck in the corner. I have quite a bit of patience because I'd like to think I set realistic expectations for the environment I'm in. I expect to wait maybe 10 minutes after an appointment has been made, especially at a nail salon but this was egregious. If you're understaffed, please just say that. Or tell me it's going to be a little longer, I promise it won't bother me. What does bother me is my time being wasted and there being no communication. I could have ran other errands or made a different decision on what I wanted to do with my time. I understand we're all doing our best and I respect all of those in the service industry, I suppose I wish the same respect was returned. Either way, I won't be returning. Back to the search for my nail salon home.

I was still mad about the bleeding toes, which I told them about, but since they said nothing (serious communication problems) I didn't leave a tip. I'm part of a big event and very important politicians, public figures and community leaders will be there and I'll be around them so I can't be looking raggedy . I had to get this hands ready for the shake. The other lady that was there wasn't going to help me but thanks to a nice customer getting a pedicure by Lona, made some comments and Lona very softly said "I take you". The pedicure was delicious. I did the Smoothing Pedicure. The aroma of the products she used were delicious. Aromatherapy included! The massage with the scrub and the lotion were delicious. She really didn't rush through it. And polish application could use a little help but is not looking like my left hand did my right hand when I was in 1r grade, ha! We're good. They were not going to take me for my hands but I waited for the service. They made me wait till last appointment for my hands even thought they were not busy but I understand the people that were there had appointments that were actually written down. They decided to all show up! They were not happy and were talking among themselves very frustrated. I'm sorry but I really appreciate you guys squeezing me in. When I walked in, I was greeted right away and I was really impressed by how clean and organized the salon was. I asked for a dip color change on my nails, and Rachel did an excellent job. I have been getting dip on my nails for years. and Rachel was hands down the most thorough technician I have ever had. She was kind, patient, focused, and her technique was very detailed. This appointment took a little over an hour, which is longer than I'm used to, but so worth it-- My nails look flawless! Being this was my first time, I think I got lucky calling in time for an appointment. It's a small salon with a small staff (from what I could tell) and based on my observations, they seem to run primarily on appointments. They do take walk-ins, but I gathered that they tend to have enough appointments on the books that they don't have as much room for walk-ins. Again, this was just my observation as I was getting my nails done. I can't compliment them enough on their operations from my first phone call, to the service, to payment, and the sweet "Merry Christmas" from the staff as I left. Highly recommend. I can't wait to go back!
