During my recent visit with my mom, we both had mani/pedis. Honestly, we both loved our pedicures and how relaxing it was. However, for our manicures, neither of us wear nails or gel or dipped polish. We're pretty basic clear girlies. Both of us experienced, being uploaded to gel or dipped polish. When we both said no, it went for the basic clear nails, our service was rushed, and our nails were not done very well. Days later, both of us experienced our nails splitting and breaking. NO CHILD PRICING. This is my fault for not checking the price before sitting down. I got my daughters and i pedicures. (Girls are 8 and 5). I got gel polish for us all... and my total was $150. (Not including tip) I KID YOU NOT and i about died. I have no complaints about the service we received...just the astronomical price for kid's pedicures.... $49 each. I am not a fan. I broke a nail at work yesterday and wanted my nails fixed and done as soon as possible so I went here based on a recommendation from someone. Well, I like my nails looking as natural as possible. I tried explaining that to them. My nails were filed a little shorter than I'd like, in a round shape which I do not like, and then painted. I'm fine with the white tip and clear gel polish which is what I communicated to them. Somehow, they got "pink" out of that and painted my nails pink and THEN put the white tip on afterwards...which ultimately caused my white tip to have a light pink tint to them. They closed about 30 minutes after I was done and I knew they would t have time to completely redo them. Instead, I paid my $40 and went straight home and spent about an hour getting as much of the polish off as I could. I will not be coming back. Ever. This picture does not look like natural nails. Where do I even begin? I came in for a fill for my acrylics with gel polish. My tech was very rough. He cut me twice on the cuticles. I needed them shortened. He shortened them very sloppily and didn't compare the length to my other hand. He couldn't manage to keep the polish only on my nail. He kept answering his phone and even a FaceTime call, where he set the phone up where I could be seen a little on the screen. Then he took his phone and pointed it directly at me without his permission. When I made a face he told me, "those are my friends from Vietnam " when my nails were dry he took his file to my cuticles to file off the excess polish. He scuffed my nail in the process. My nails were left jagged on the sides in some places. read more

Ok, yesterday was my last trip to this place. I went in for a pedicure and I got seated immediately in a chair to wait my turn. No problem with that and a nice lady a couple minutes later was sat right next to me. There were 2 people to my left getting theirs done, and about 3 across from me and one that had a appointment at 2pm. She was sitting there with no water in her tub either. As I sat in the massage chair I kept expecting someone to come run the water in my foot tub to soak while I waited.....so about 30 minutes, I was very patient and in no hurry at the time. I got there around 2pm, 2:10pm and 30 mins in I asked a employee walking by very nice and I asked "yes excuse me ma'am is there a way to get water in my tub to soak while I wait or is it a extra charge for that? I'll pay it if I can get some water, please" and they all, and I think there was 4 or 5 employees that heard me and they spoke to each other in their language you don't understand and looked at me and I knew they were talking about me and so about 10 more mins went by and I looked to the lady to My left and said "I guess that would be a NO!" And I continued to sit there, why? Because I had to get my pedi as we are now headed to the beach. I would have walked out if I hadn't of already blew my entire time at that one crappy nail salon. One of my toes messed up and I could tell it was a irritation to them and to top it off, my big toe on my left foot was RED from him messing up my red polish and then trying to clean my toe and he left it that way. I had other errands to run and I went to my next destination and all I could do was talk about how awful I was treated and let them look at the mess of a "pedicure" I got. Oh and my big toe on my right foot has a small cut on the tip of my toe and hurts. What really really got me was being ignored by every staff when I asked for water in my tub. They have you sit in the chair with your nude feet sitting in their cold empty tub. I WAS getting me a nice $55 pedicure but the longer I sat there and got ignored the lower the pedi went. And when I spoke of this place I was told by 4 different people where to go get the best pedicure and it was not this place!!!! I'll never return here. Extremely rude! read more

Came in for pedi and gel nails now that the city is calming down a bit. They put up the glass barrier when doing nails, which is nice. Had to wait a little bit, understandable, considering all the things happening right now. Overall they did a really great job, so now I can happily go to places with nails!!! read more

I made an appointment for a pedicure and they didn't start on me until 50 min past my appointment time. I would have gone elsewhere if they didn't have an opening but they made the reservation. Not relaxing when you're in a time crunch! read more

(Long review, sorry!) The first time I visited this nail salon was great! I must've waited about 30-45 minutes for a tech to become available, but I wasn't in a hurry so I didn't mind. The nail tech I had was friendly, helpful, and suggested/helped me come up with a design for my acrylic set that I loved. I would be wearing the style from that day to my wedding, and he made sure they were perfect for me. He did great shaping them (and MADE SURE they all matched), didn't cut my skin anywhere on my fingers, and all my nails were smooth on the surface. When I returned for a fill two weeks later, however, I was much less satisfied with my visit. I was helped right away, but it seemed that many of the workers were in a rush even though it wasn't even close to closing time. I told my tech that they had previously used the pink acrylic powder on the part of my nails near the cuticle and white on the tips, because it was originally applied in an ombré design. He didn't acknowledge this remark at all, and instead used the standard clear powder. (I didn't notice it in the dimmer salon lights, but in the sunlight, you can see the line of where the fill ends and the original pink acrylic application begins, since I chose clear glitter polish). The initial filling went okay, besides how much the technician messed with my cuticles. Although I don't visit nail salons often (because I'm scared of painful, botched manicures), I take very good care of my hands and nails so I thought this was overkill. My cuticles were cut and filed back so far with the drill and clippers that they all became very red the next day, and two of them even swelled and bled. As coats of gel polish were applied, I noticed that they appeared to be very thick, uneven coats, and the polish got on my skin around most of my nails. After a few coats of polish, my tech took a square emery board and began pushing hard on the skin under and to the sides of each nail, as if to separate it from the gel that had been baked on my skin. At the time, it hurt a little, but I just figured I wasn't used to it since I rarely go to salons... However, later that night I felt sharp pains around most of the edges of the nails on my left hand, and noticed I had small cuts on the undersides of EACH side of my nails! They resembled paper cuts in shape, only they were deeper. My fingers stayed pretty tender for several days. Also, in the end, I noticed that the polish was applied so unevenly that none of the surfaces of my nails were smooth. None of the nail shapes matched either, and I actually ended up having to go home and file them until they matched and were the shape I wanted in the first place... Needless to say, I probably won't return anytime soon. read more
