The nail tech worked very quickly and it felt rushed. The tech didn't say anything other than what color did I want. The leg massage was very light and I felt it could have been better. They have a small parking lot, but I've never had trouble finding a spot. The facility is always clean, comfortable, and quiet, which makes for a relaxing experience. When I've gone during pregnancy, they've been great about making sure I'm comfortable and adjusting pressure as needed. The biggest positive is the consistency. I've had great experiences with everything from the 30-minute to the 90-minute massages. I'm taking off one star because of the tipping experience. My husband had an uncomfortable experience where he felt pressured to leave a larger tip after paying by credit card, and it was enough that he doesn't want to return. Since then, I always bring cash so I can avoid that situation. Personally, I don't feel this is the type of establishment where tipping should be demanded, especially given the pricing and the fact that I've rarely had the same massage therapist twice. I usually leave around a 10% tip, but even then I've sometimes felt like it wasn't well received. I wish management would address this with their staff because it takes away from an otherwise consistently great experience. If there were a comparable alternative nearby, I'd probably choose it because of this issue.

This most recent experience, Vivian went above and beyond to make sure I got exactly what I wanted on my nails. The inside has always appeared clean to me. However, if you are offered one of the cheese grater style callus removers just say no lol. I went in for an acrylic white tip full set and was made to believe they'd see me relatively soon as I was a walk-in. I expected to wait about 15-20 minutes since I didn't have an appointment but they had me sitting for over 40 minutes before I was seen. Again, this wouldn't have been an issue if they would have told me it would be a while - I could have gone to run errands or came back. People were seen before me and I was left sitting for almost an hour before I was seen. As I mentioned, I wanted acrylic white tips, it's a service listed that they offer at this salon but that's not what I received. I ended up with a regular acrylic french tip set. One set is $60 and the other is around $85 and are completely different services. They're absolutely beautiful but not what I asked for. The quality of the set is what saved me from giving a 1-star review. At the end of the day I was charged for a service I didn't ask for and was asked to wait almost 45 minutes without any communication.

Today I visited Shira's nails for the first time since I was in town for the weekend. I was a…read morelittle hesitant based on the reviews but I was only getting a gel manicure with no enhancements so I thought why not since it was close to my hotel. I was quickly greeted and seated upon arrival without an appointment. Travis started taking off my previous gel and was friendly. He cleaned up my cuticles but could've done a better job at removing all of my previous gel polish. He started applying the new polish and things were going well until he began applying the second coat. He seemed to struggle with avoiding polish around my cuticles and had to constantly remove that off. Some of the other nail techs noticed he was having a hard time, and eventually just took over. It caught me off guard and I asked "Is everything ok?". I wasn't expecting to have 3 other people surrounding me during my service which didn't cause for a relaxing experience. I felt bad for Travis because he was trying his best. I was grateful for his constant effort in wanting to make sure I was satisfied. My nails turned out as I wanted but the journey to get there was challenging.
