I went one time to this salon a few months ago and they did great. I called back today (tried 6…read moretimes) and they had me blocked. I had to *67 to get through. But the situation got odder. Again I have only been here once and had my AirPods on watching a show the entire time while getting my nails done, not saying a peep! Please, please, Please do not go here, they discriminated against me because I was the only African American person getting my nails done in the salon. I made a 5:30 PM appointment in which they were taking walk-ins of a different skin color in front of me and proceeded to have me as the last person finished and out of the building. I called back today thinking I would give this salon another try and asked for a different person to do my pedicure because things happen and the salon was busy. However, the manager advised me none of his people are taking new clients and no one was free for weeks. I even asked "do you not want my business and that I was confused because he was basically refusing to let me make the appointment after I asked him about 5 different times and dates" I even left a nice tip and review prior so again...I was super confused on why I got treated this way. I have never been discriminated like this against in MY LIFE. As a family that just moved to Nashville from Houston for my husbands job transfer, we will be telling everyone we know about this experience. I am highly disappointed on the disgusting treatment of the manager and this establishment. This was a terrible experience that needs to be heard. Run and fine kinder people to do your nails. You do not treat people and good clients giving you business this way, period!

It was my first time here while visiting from California and found Noire on Yelp and the closest…read morenail salon near me at the time. It's a large nail bar, clean, friendly service. The nail tech worked very quickly and it felt rushed. The tech didn't say anything other than what color did I want. The leg massage was very light and I felt it could have been better. I paid $50 for the pedicure and an additional $15 for gel. I don't mind paying for service but it was very basic service, for the amount of money spent. And yes I also tipped the tech. Not what I had expected.

The second tech was very aggressive, argumentative, & hurt me multiple times w/ the drill. My nails were not uniform, cuticles looked bad, & didnt clean underneath my nails - despite me asking for these things several times & I finally just gave up. Upon leaving the second time, I expressed to the front desk that it was not a good experience. She was very nice & we discussed coming back the following day. However, later that same day, when I called to book an appointment to come back, she treated me very differently saying I had to send pics to defend that anything was wrong w/ the service I'd received. Needless to say I will not be returning. So disappointed!!

They were able to get me in at my preferred time which was at 10:30am on a Monday. I was so happy that I was able to snag an opening. Usually you want to make sure that you call ahead and book an appointment in advance in order to secure your spot. Something to note is that I did notice that on their sign they crossed out the part where it says "walk-ins accepted." I asked for just a 30 minute reflexology massage. They noticed that I was pregnant and made sure that I was super comfortable and had everything I needed. They were able to sit the chair up so that I wasn't laying flat and provided me with extra pillows. This was super nice and made my experience way more enjoyable. The massage was fantastic and when it was over I was asked if I wanted to add extra time and I really wish I could have said yes but had to say no due to my limited timing. I will definitely be back soon! Pros: - clean facility - comfortable - accommodating - great massage Cons: - stairs to get to the building (assuming not handicap accessible?) - one time my masseuse clearly had just smoked a cigarette and then was the one who gave me my massage and I just smelled that the whole time everybody let's dance - sometimes when paying it can be awkward and a little intimidating

When you walk in there is a little spot to check in and then you walk into a larger room where everyone is receiving their massages. They do have some rooms off to the side if that is a concern of yours but they keep the shared space very quiet and relaxing. I will say my one concern for this storefront is accessibility. You do walk up a flight of stairs to enter and I am unsure if they have additional options for those who need it so I would call and ask if needed! They have never been anything but helpful to me.
