WOW! This place is amazing. It was so easy to make an online appointment. We had a group of 4 manicure and pedicure. I had an inspo pic of ombré nails for my upcoming wedding and he made my nails look even better than the inspiration picture! All the employees are so nice and were welcoming even to the people who came in our party that were not getting their nails done. I would come back here again and again! Never have had better service.

Beautiful nail salon! The decor is Egyptian which is such a unique theme I've never seen before. Everything is gold, white, well lit with gorgeous chandeliers, loads of pedicure chairs and manicures desks. I went with the signature pedicure and dip for my manicure. Julie was my nail tech and she was not only kind but did a fabulous job. Can't wait to come back!

$90 chrome dip manicure - chrome not worth it

I've come here a couple times since moving to Nashville. They are fast and thorough but I wanted to warn everyone about the chrome. I got dip + chrome and it was $90 for a very streaky job. It was also supposed to be a light pink base (I went off one of their plastic nail examples) and it came out beige. Very overpriced for what the outcome was. I would not get the chrome again here. Overall, their dip manicures are great though, it's even and they grow out nicely around the cuticles.

I showed her a photo of what I was looking to do and she helped with color and glitter suggestions. She used builder gel so it was a bit more expensive than a regular gel manicure, but I think this will last a very long time. The staff were very nice! This is a great place to treat yourself for some self-care.

Walk in has always been super easy. We booked manicures here online once and by phone another time but the service was really good. Love the Egyptian theme of the salon and the cosmetologists are really great. It's always busy when we go in and it's in a great area. Watch for parking because the parking lot is shared with other businesses and can fill up quick. Great place ask for Be or Rose!! read more

My girlfriend went to this salon for a French Nail while on a work trip. The guy filed her nails so roughly that her nails bled. The man in question was aware of her bleeding and " file is sharp because it is new, little wound will be fine". No apology, no explanation. I would not recommend this place. read more

Today I visited Shira's nails for the first time since I was in town for the weekend. I was a little hesitant based on the reviews but I was only getting a gel manicure with no enhancements so I thought why not since it was close to my hotel. I was quickly greeted and seated upon arrival without an appointment. Travis started taking off my previous gel and was friendly. He cleaned up my cuticles but could've done a better job at removing all of my previous gel polish. He started applying the new polish and things were going well until he began applying the second coat. He seemed to struggle with avoiding polish around my cuticles and had to constantly remove that off. Some of the other nail techs noticed he was having a hard time, and eventually just took over. It caught me off guard and I asked "Is everything ok?". I wasn't expecting to have 3 other people surrounding me during my service which didn't cause for a relaxing experience. I felt bad for Travis because he was trying his best. I was grateful for his constant effort in wanting to make sure I was satisfied. My nails turned out as I wanted but the journey to get there was challenging. read more

Won't be coming here again, they tried to charge me $85 for simple white powder nails. I didn't ask for gel and the max advertised price for non gel acrylic is $60.. that's what I was expecting to pay. Idk how they can rationalize $25 for regular powder??? Doesn't make any sense nor did they inform me of the price until it was time to pay. They did give me $15 back after I had to go back and forth w them so I wound up paying $70. On top of that, my nails started popping off 4 days later, shame. read more

I sat and waited for a bit to get a dip manicure. When I sat down, all the tools, dirty towel, and other items were still there from person before me. I thought she was going to clean up, but she went ahead to start my service without doing so. It was honestly pretty gross looking down at someone else's nail shavings, and dead skin all over the towel. I had to ask the nail technician to stop, and get a new towel for me. I ended up leaving because it felt unsanitary, and honestly made me wonder what else wasn't getting sanitized in between if they couldn't even switch out the towel. You definitely need to be using all new/clean items in between guests. (I posted a review earlier stating my experience, but the manager responded stating that I left when the nail technician was "getting a new towel." No, I left AFTER I personally asked the nail technician to get a new towel. She had already tried to start the service when I had to ask her to get a clean towel. I shouldn't have to ask, y'all should already have it cleaned up for new customers. That is gross!) read more

ZERO STARS. I went in for a simple gel manicure. My nails were semi-long and healthy. The manicurist wrapped them in acetone and foil to remove the gel polish and then applied a hot towel to my hands to "speed up" the removal process. When she went to remove the gel, the color had seeped into my nail beds, turning my nails pink, and my nails became PAPER THIN. Like tear them apart thin. I wound up having to cut them all off and let them grow back. AWFUL. Possibly toxic for nails. read more

On vacation and my daughter and went here for a pedicure. I highly recommend. All the staff are super friendly and nice. This is by far one of the best places we have been ever. They took us first thing as walk ins. Beautiful setting. Very calming and relaxing. Clean and doesn't have the heavy chemical smell that so many places do. I highly recommend and if I ever get back to Nashville we will be visiting them again. read more

I have never had a better nail experience!! My normal nail salon was booked so I stopped here on a whim. The owner Adam is the coolest guy, and my nail tech Linh was seriously the best. She took so much time doing my nails and making them exactly how I wanted them. She is so easy to talk to and so patient with her work. Not to mention they serve complimentary mimosas!!! The salon was the cleanest nail salon I have ever seen. Seriously a no brainer if you're looking for a nail salon. Ask for Adam or Linh!! 10/10 read more

I have been to many nail salons, rarely do I leave 100% satisfied. Whenever I get a manicure, I end up coming home and fixing what was not done. I needed a manicure before my trip and noticed Shiras Nail Bar on West End in Nashville. Linh was my technician and she was AMAZING! Linh is VERY detailed. She took care of my cuticles, properly removed any dead skin ( even more than I would have the patience to do), she was meticulous about placing the dip on my nails ( yes some techs actually mess this up and leave your nails lumpy). It was a 10/10 experience all around. I just made my next appt and I am truly looking forward to seeing her again! Thank you Linh! read more

I try to offset this with builder gel, my last set the builder came off and I was letting my nails rest and grow out. The thin part all finally grew out and I decided to treat myself got Christmas. These are my natural nails no product and he started from the get go with an e file. I could feel the heat and it burned. The builder gel also burned like hell like I'm pretty tough but it was legitimately painful. After he took the e file again and it burned and he cut me to the point of bleeding on a couple fingers. He knew too because I was grimacing the entire time and even said something a couple times. He also got gel and cured it on my fingers. Shouldn't get gel on the skin people develop severe allergies that way and I am pretty prone with MCAS. I told the guy upfront and I was still charged full price $95. Unfortunately I'm not the type to make a scene and just paid it and left. But I will let people know and at least avoid going back to that tech. His name was Lee. Today (the day after) my nails themselves are very tender and I'm noticing even more places where he knicked my skin. This is irreparable I'm going to have to let this grow out. My cuticles are pretty itchy too. I work in surgery scrubbing with avagard is going to suck (iykyk). Also we're allowed gel/polish without chips to our natural nails/keep them short. Extremely frustrating for someone who uses their hands for a job, plus $95 is nothing to scoff about in this economy.

I've seen other people's work and I haven't seen any that compare to her quality. I had my 1.5 year touch up on my eyebrows a few weeks ago and I'm even more in love! I went from never getting waxed before to finding new areas that I want to try waxing (clearly I'm a glutton for punishment)...even the most painful area (underarms) is all worth it in the end. Genevieve is always professional, she's a great listener, and she makes sure you are super comfortable, regardless of the procedure. And big surprise , an angry practitioner shaping my eye brows made ME look angry. Im sorry but I don't want to look angry too maam. This was supposed to be a self care experience. Instead it made me feel disrespected. I don't owe you my buisiness if you don't appreciate me. If you are in the beauty industry, you can't be UGLY to people. Period.

This is on me for not making time on carefully research this place. The DMK felt like the " esthetician" watched bunch of you tube videos and mimic the steps. There was no facial massage, it was more like throwing the products on your face which literally it happened that way. Lily was lovely and everything but one thing is the personality the other is the execution of work. The place: people go to have a facial or massage in a place that is zen and quiet. It's a space for healing and focus. There's no privacy. The working areas are separated by panels. There are no doors but curtains facing the checkout counter. I could hear the next door client chatting with her esthetician nonstop. For that you go to therapy or simply have that session at home. It was distracting and extremely annoying. The choice of music and volume not okay. It gave me the impression these people wants to make quick money without having proper practice and real experience. I'll keep looking and make the time to check on their certificates online. The ones on the wall look pretty fake. I know this is a brutal review but this impression was fully created by you-- the business. I support women owning businesses but please do it right!

Our group of 10 girls was treated to individualized attention for both manicures and pedicures. The staff was so professional, warm, and detail-oriented--every one of us felt pampered and relaxed.
