First time here and not a bad experience. Didn't love it, but they did a solid job! Color selection for dip is not good and they don't really work with you if you have an idea of what you want. Just throw the colors at you and let you pick. Just different than nail salons I've been to where they help guide you based on inspo pictures. Shape and finished product was great, no complaints. But I did have to ask them to clean it up as I had so much polish on cuticles and skin they were gonna just ignore. Not a bad experience, my nails look good! But a few little things to work on. I will never go back to this place ever again. The last two times that I have went the nail techs basically did what they wanted too. They are very rude when it comes to you trying to verbalize exactly what you want. I went today and had another horrible experience. I was at the location from 3 til past closing trying to get my nails the way I wanted them. I was pressured into getting another full set because of the horrible experience I had 3 weeks ago. Was basically told that my set would be trash if she didn't allow me to do it the way she wanted. In the process of her removing my nails she cut me and then when I asked her to make sure the area was sanitized to make sure no infection would form she completely ignored me. Afterwards when it came to the paint and design that I wanted, after telling her multiple times before she started on the other hand that I didn't like the design she stated that it would look better closer to when she got finished. By time she was finished the other hand I let her know again that I did not like the design. She continued to try and put the top coat on after I advised her that I didn't like the design. I was told that I was wasting her time even though I had been sitting waiting since 3 o'clock in the afternoon. She roughly removed the drill damaging the acrylic. In the mist of all this going on, the other lady took a photo of me. Like I was about to run out or something. And when asked was she going to paint my nails, she slopped the paint on. And still charged me for the trash job she didn't on my nails. Both times I was told I was being aggressive because i stated that I did not like the way the service was being done. RIPOFF $50 for one of the worst dip manicure I've ever had. I came back so upset after the real light hit the nails. Bulky, splashy and uneven. I had to have another tech (Sandy) fix everything, like literally everything. I will say, sandy and the other lady (maybe the owner) were extremely nice and willing to fix (they wouldn't just return my money). They even gave me the little diamonds (they don't last on the nails, by the way) as a sorry. Completely different for what I have experienced in a nail place if I have a complaint about their service but I really don't know why they couldn't hold the native language talking. I find it very rude of them. I myself speak another language and try to only speak English unless the other party I'm with doesn't speak English and never to disrespect someone. Period. Can't say they were talking bad but there wasn't native language between them before the complaint, you can only speculate. I really don't appreciate that they charge as if they buy the best quality products when the results speak for themselves. I've been doing my nails for a very long time so I had many different technicians do my nail and I can already tell when a tech is doing something wrong or not really detailed oriented or caring. I started going to this nail salon about a year ago. Each time, things kept getting worse so I finally stopped going. Mind you, I only get one hand done due to my disability but they still rush through my manicures. I complained one time about them rushing on my pedi & mani and they took $20 off. It just never got better and my gel polish would chip after 2 or 3 days. I had to go back the last time to fix it and that was my last time there. Their customer service is bad and rush just to get to the next customer or to have more customers per day. Like I told them... Called a week in advance to make an appt for my young daughter and two of her buddies to get their nails done for her birthday. I requested that they all could sit together. They were so kind on the phone and even offered 10% off since it was for my daughter's birthday. When I arrived, they did not sit them together (I asked and they said no) and the total appt took under ten minutes. I wish I had something positive to say I truly do; I chose to come here despite all The negative reviews. I was told the wait time would be 20 minutes and it stretched into two hours; as someone who understands that understaffing is hard on those actually working, I wish I was told if would in fact be two hours of waiting. No refreshments were offered and although that's not too big of a deal, I've never been to a nail place that didn't offer as such. When it came time for my nails to be done, I was assigned to David. I'll be honest he was very aggressive and made my nail beds bleed after filing which is a unique experience for me. When I asked for a simple ombré look he told me it was undoable and if I wanted it I would have to "pay more" and get dip nails to which I agreed. I have had regular nails with ombré so I was a little confused when he said They would have to be dip nails. He asked me what colors I wanted and I showed him exactly what Colors I wanted he then told me they wouldn't look good and picked a flamingo pink instead of a nude color I had picked out. He had finished off full nails several times and then picked some and filed all the polish off which at the time I appreciated at the time Thinking it was for the sake of perfecting the nails. After he was done, I realized each nail had bubbles and some had hairs and fibers stuck on the surface as well as a very grainy ombré look- refer to pics. I want to maintain that there was no aftercare or prep, my cuticles werent pushed back nor trimmed, just bled after filing. No cuticle oil used eitje The nails started breaking off after 7 days which was frustrating for what I paid when I have had dip nails last over a month. I'm not saying don't come support this local business however I am saying don't pay a lot of money for sloppy work when you can pay much less with a nail tech. read more

I was in here about a month and a half ago for a pedicure which was amazing! One of the best pedicures I've ever had. So I came in for a manicure today and it was terrible. The mail tech seemed annoyed to be doing a manicure, she was Probably mad that I wasn't getting an upgrade to gel nails. They didn't ask what kind of manicure I wanted and so she barely took any time to do an exceptionally basic manicure; didn't bother to ask how I wanted nails shaped or use cuticle oils. Both are standard practice for even a basic manicure. So I will not be back, no matter how great the pedicure was. I would give one star but given the pedicure was so amazing I can't do that. Relaxed immediately upon entering. I am greeted and they got me in right away. I picked out my nail color and she got to work. Ok, the massage chairs! Heaven on earth here!! They massage the sides of your thighs and are the BEST damn massage chairs I ever sat in, that's right sharper image, you not even come close! Lol I did the top of the line pedicure. It was very relaxing, she got my tootsies back to flip flop material. They looked amazing and so soft! While polishing my toes she did a free paraffin wax for my hands. OMG....loved this and they were so soft. Didn't last long though as I wash my hands way to much. :( Pricing was much cheaper then downtown Nashville, $45 for everything I got was outstanding and I will be back and refer people based on that as well. Very classy decor and they even offer you a glass a wine (coke or water for the non-drinkers) while you get your nails done. I got a manicure this weekend. Very reasonably priced: $15 included warm mittens and a small massage. For an extra $10 you can choose from a variety of other services (paraffin wax, green tea treatment, longer massage, etc). The staff was very friendly and we didn't have much of a wait at all despite being a walk in. My manicurist even helped me pick a color since i was completely indecisive when looking at the big selection they had to choose from. When I went back the next day to show my nails and to see how they could explain and rectify the issue, they were all rude and didn't care about the severity of me being infected with nail fungus. I cannot get my nails done for 6 months because of Cecelia's improper, negligent acrylic application. I had an appointment with Ben, whom I love. His work is consistently neat and he pays attention to detail. I showed up for my appt and was told Ben wasn't there. Why I was booked for a technician who wouldn't be there I don't know. I reluctantly let a different technician do my shellac manicure. She was sloppy and told me I was crazy when I told her my nails were different lengths on my right hand. She refused to fix this. Pictures clearly show my nails on my right hand are longer than on my left hand. She applied the gel on my left ring finger on top of my skin, which will grow out and lift, allowing water to be trapped and cause fungus potentially. She refused to fix it properly. Oh and she also refused to soak my gel off longer when I asked her to do that instead of using a drill to remove it from my already thin and brittle nails. read more

Ah Magic Nails. The little sister of Signature Spa in Green Hills. Is it a nail place in a strip mall? yes. Is it small? yes. It is amazingly clean, trendy painted walls, affordable price AND give you a complementary glass of wine. YES. I got a pedicure in about 25 minutes for $28. They had about 100 colors to choose from. The pedicure chair was nice, and new --whereas more of these type places have old, non-working massage chairs. The music was relaxing. You can upgrade the type of pedi or mani to include more massage time, scrubs, and treatments. They have a sign posted how they prefer you tip in cash. Oh and another note they had OK, People, Life & Style, Shape, gosh all new copies! Even if i don't need a manicure, I may just go there to read all the hot gossip. read more

I asked her to please fix it/clean it up & she said rudely that she wasn't done yet. I apologized & let her continue. I repeatedly asked if she could clean it up & she refused unless I purchased the entire pedicure package. I explained that it was one toe & could she please fix it but she wouldn't!
