Rigatoni Peppernotta Roasted peppers, sausage, marinara and fresh mozzarella  Shrimp Firenza Shrimp sautéed with onion, garlic, hot cherry peppers, and marinara over linguine with fontinella cheese excellent but for my taste more spice. Desserts were homemade and good. Small equals a little noisy but well worth the visit.

Tl,dr: do yourself a favor and GO EAT HERE. PRONTO…read more We stopped in on a Saturday at 4pm for my FIL's birthday. I now know that this unassuming restaurant has some of the friendliest staff and best prepared food in the Utica area. I can't wait to go back. With a full roster of reservations scheduled for their dining room, the four of us walked in and slotted up at the bar for dinner with front row seats to the action in the kitchen. First up: spicy and flavorful Utica greens covered in a healthy sprinkling of cheese. Would order again. After chatting with the owner, we ordered two scallop pasta dishes, a steak sandwich, and chicken Parm (which they were kind enough to make with fra diavolo sauce for my spice lord husband). EVERYTHING was impeccable, and I was honestly tempted to pick up my plate and lick it clean - that's how good the seared scallops over linguine were. Pasta was cooked perfectly, the sauce was light, well seasoned and well balanced (and not actually on their menu, so bonus points for being willing and able to pull that out on the fly!). In and out in about an hour, though we never felt rushed. We're looking forward to trying more apps and staying for an espresso and dessert next time!

To the right is their bar area with more tables and booths on the left side. 4 stars alone based on having the best homefries in the area. Served hot with great flavor plus great chocolate milk. The Italian scramble subbed hot sausage was large and excellent. Greens were good. Veggie omelet was also large and very good. Worth a ride for breakfast or lunch. Prices were reasonable.

Struggled with rating and review and want to try again during the week or on Saturday rather than on a Sunday. We placed our order and most of our party ordered sandwiches rather than a breakfast entree only to find out 40 minutes after our order was taken the chef was no longer going to offer lunch on Sundays. This should have been indicated by wait staff at a minimum and not 40 minutes after our order was taken. Menu that was given did not indicate that breakfast was only option on a Sunday. Additionally, they were out of several of the breakfast items so now our choices were limited. Had we known sooner we could have left and gone to several other restaurants for lunch. To top it off they ran out of creamer and we were given a carton from kitchen of half and half only to have wait staff grab container. Additionally, silverware that was wrapped in napkin was dirty and there was an added secret ingredient of a long strand of dark hair on syrup dispenser mind you none of us have long dark hair. I ordered an omelette which was OK and nothing special with home fries that had so much pepper I could not eat it. The toast was good but did not go there for bread. Just very disappointed after all the glowing comments on facebook

The Hotel was being renovated (July 2017), I guess changed from Days Inn to Motel 6. I'd booked since inexpensive. We were checking out schools in NE for my daughter and wanted to check out Hamilton and Colgate. Arrived late at hotel and things looked strange with construction. We were tired and hungry and were told restaurant closed at 10, and thought we were too late to eat there, or that if they did serve something they would to it in a hurry; but decided to check it out anyway. Two guys were having beers and talking, otherwise it was empty, and looked to be under construction too. We ordered and I waited while wife and daughter got settled in room -- Food was GREAT -- Fresh and tasty. The wrap sandwich was memorable. Two ladies running the place apparently do catering business too. They were friendly and obviously take pride in their work. We were surprised to have such great food in such an out-of-the way place, at a bad time. They had some good beers on tap too. (motivated to finally write this since had just had a bad experience at restaurant in expensive/fancy hotel back home in CA; and we reflected on how we had such a great experience at this Motel 6, under renovation, in the middle of nowhere).
