The entrance has had a light refresh as well. Gone is the big glass dessert display case but the additional walking space is nice. Sadly we learned that the cakes are being discontinued, RIP the wonderful carrot cake. Fortunately we snagged one of the last pieces. It's my understanding that cookies and other sweet treats will still be available. The menu is loaded with new and exciting choices. Deciding what to choose was a great problem to have. We started with the Trio Dipper with house made chips and balloon bread, which is like pita bread on steroids and just as delicious. The dip selections were terrific and we were brought more chips when ours ran low. Two of us ordered the Tuscan Chicken. They were exceptional bites. They were parmesan breaded chicken fritters stuffed with the tomatoes and cheese. It's an inventive take on a traditional recipe and a tasty home run! My husband ordered the Chicken Piccata, looking for a lower calorie option. The lemon butter wine sauce was delicious and it's a terrific option. The last guest chose the fried chicken which is an old and familiar favorite. You absolutely cannot go wrong. We ended the night sharing a piece of carrot cake and a salted caramel cookie.

The location seems to be a little rundown but clean and the hotel was fully booked. I remember when staying at an Embassy was an upscale or at least a better than average experience. Those days are sadly over. We went to bed after midnight with unsupervised children running and yelling in the atrium area. We woke up in the middle of the night with the room extremely hot. We tried to turn down the thermostat but it did not help. When we asked about the air conditioning the next morning, the front desk employees informed us that there were four rooms on the fourth floor out of forty that were cold. They turned off the air conditioning and turned on the heat so the other 36 rooms would be uncomfortable. It makes you wonder why they even have thermostats in the rooms. While staying at the Embassy Suites they were allowing 5 unsupervised children to run and scream throughout the halls and atrium area as they tied up the elevators so they could play "tag". When we complained about it but nothing was done. At about 10AM, we went down to the complimentary made to order breakfast. While we were waiting in line to order breakfast, we watched the same 5 children, raid the buffet section of the breakfast several times until it was "picked clean" eating directly off of the service area and leaving nothing for the other guests. Once again, nothing was done. It seems that as long as four rooms on the forth floor and 5 unsupervised children enjoyed their stay, it didn't matter about the other guests in the hotel. Staying at Embassy Suites should be a better experience than staying at a Motel 6. My stay was worse. I will never stay at this location and may never stay at an Embassy Suites again. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR...DO NOT STAY AT THIS LOCATION.

It hums a bit, so if sound bothers you... but I like the white noise. It's a quiet hotel, and the cleaning crew is fairly quiet when they go about their work. Staff is friendly, and there are copies of the Wall Street Journal and USA Today at the front desk. I love having a paper to read in the evening before I go to bed. Mini fridge, microwave, a small kitchen style sink in the kitchenette, and the water pressure is great. Plenty of lighting, lots of power outlets for all the chargers/devices you're likely to carry with you. There's plenty of parking, and it's close to a good selection of places to eat, as well as shopping. I don't know the name of the little lady who greeted me on Wednesday morning during breakfast, but she was friendly and had a fantastic smile. It sent me on my way in a pleasant mood. Thank you for the stress-free, restful stay!

Nothing just here's your room key as I get to the elevator there's a key hanging out of the elevator lockbox so I walked over and asked the lady why is there a key here? She said well it's broken. We have to leave the key in it and I said so what happens if somebody takes that key while that elevator is in mid Road oh, it will stop ,that was comforting to me!!!! as we got up to the floor where our room was the fifth floor there was a loud noise and it was coming from the fire alarms, the fire bells both both of them on the on our floor we're going off they're muted so I went back downstairs and said hey why are the fire alarms going off? She said oh there's a bad ground wire now I'm an Electrician of sorts and I know that a bad ground wire won't do this. This is a problem with the system. They couldn't assure me that it was gonna work if there was a fire. then we get to the room elevator's really slow since there's only one and there was a whole bunch of kids here from a college. fire alarms. We're still troubling to me. We got up to the room, not the cleanest room I've ever been in matter fact it's pretty well worn and not not real clean. Problem was the middle of the night. The toilet started running and it ran violently all night long so needless to say this hasn't been a good experience. This is the trashiest hotel. I've stayed in the least maintenance of place I've ever seen. I see all the reviews praising the staff. The staff was unremarkable to me that doesn't mean they weren't nice to somebody else. They just weren't very concerned about anything well sure we have some maintenance going on. Oh, how long is the maintenance been going on ma'am? it's been going on a long time those fire alarms been doing that for a while. That's UNSAT. I think Bill Marriott would be ashamed of whoever owns and runs this hotel Trip typeBusiness · Family Rooms2.0Service1.0Location4.0 RoomsWorn and not well cleaned or supplied. SafetyI'm not sure this hotel is safe at all. Some of the locks don't work on the outside doors. The doors are pride open. I think they're fire doors the fire system the wheels that secure it on the fourth floor are not locked like the rest of them should be key hanging out of the elevator because it's broken a fire alarm going off because it's got a bad ground wire. Where is the safety in this? Maybe we should call the county inspector and see what they have to say about all this crap. WalkabilityFood looked pitiful on the buffet in those pans absolutely pitiful. We're going somewhere else to eat and we're gonna go stay somewhere else.
