Oh my where do I begin ! Thought Mike was a great guy , have done business with him before. Something changed ! Went to pick out granite for over my washer and dryer . After that , NOTHING ! No show no connection ! No measuring , no temp plate . Not a word ! I finally called him and he said he would come out the next day ! He never showed up! I wasted a day waiting for him . After waiting 3 months I finally went to Solid image . Counter top was installed in less than then 2 weeks . Mike doesn't do small jobs anymore . So they have a beautiful show room at lots of tile granite and various stones. They are very friendly and helpful when you're there. My problem with them applies to the other smaller places in the area as well. We are looking at granite or stone countertops and I can't even get any ballpark figure as to how much money it's gonna cost me. If I go to Home Depot, at least know how much of the stone is and I can ballpark estimate the cost of the job. for them, I told it will be "three weeks" till the owner can come out and look and give me an estimate. I am here now not in three weeks and that likely applies to a lot of people on the shore and pushes people to the big box stores to buy their granite. I would prefer to use this local business, but getting a cost estimate three weeks in the future is not helpful to me and precludes me from using them. They did a beautiful job in a difficult time. Mike came to our place at Sea Colony East (Georgetowne House) and measured twice before quoting us a price. He saw all potential pitfalls, including how deep a sink we could have without affecting the disposal connection. Sean came out later with a mask and did the final template. I hired this company to do some granite work for me. I paid them to come out twice (once to measure and once to install). They did a great job. I realized after their visits, I needed granite for my shower steps. After trying to get a hold of the owner via email and several phone calls, he finally took my call. He said that that would be too small of a job for him to do and that he is very busy. One of the reasons he is busy is that my contractor recommended him to 10 other people and he never returns my contractors calls during this whole process. After talking to him and letting him know that I am a customer (paid almost $1,000 the first time), he asked me to send him a picture of the granite needed and he would get back to me. No phone call back. The woman that answers the phone Sandy has the worst attitude and personality. She shouldn't be working for the public. More like stay home or work in a factory alone. I have never talked to anyone so rude in my life. I will not recommend this company to anyone needing granite. Poor customer service. I bet 4 years ago when the economy sucked, he would have taken any business. Sounds like he's now too big for his britches. Go elsewhere on the eastern shore, The only CSI you should buy are the programs on the CBS television network! read more
