Matt's Team is amazing and truly care about making sure the customer is 100% satisfied. From the Ladies who set up my measuring appoint, Jodi who came out to measure and set up my purchase all the way through the installation process I was 100% pleased with their attention to detail and keeping me in the loop and up to date. Case in point, I had a small 3'x5' area in the closet to fill in. The installation tech was able to piece together a few smaller sections for that area and you cant even notice. We were not originally going to carpet that area but he was able to make it happen. They go that EXTRA MILE for sure!!!! read more

No returns at all even if the boxes are unopened. Even if the material is in stock. Very unfortunate and they should probably make this known. Lost out on a lot of business. read more

I called to get an estimate for My 3 bedrooms and possible outdoor sun porch. The guy came in with one board of outdoor carpet samples. He measured the sun porch and said - he had another client and had to go. I said what abt the bedrooms, the reason I called. He said- oh I have another client waiting. But he did measure the bedrooms - quickly. Idk if they were correct measurements. Then he said I will have to make another appointment And bring I. Those carpet samples another time or send you a quote for medium grade carpet tomorrow. Well, that was Tuesday and it's the end of the week. I got nothing, no quote, no follow up, no customer service. The guy was late know he had another appointment t and only brought outdoor carpet sample- one board of it? I have nails sticking out of my floor and need carpet now. I am going with another company. This is ridiculous. My time wasted. read more

Bought a 12'x12' area rug from Matt. Kurt was very helpful in picking the carpet that suited our needs and Christian and James did a terrific job with the delivery and installation. They took pictures of the furniture placement before moving the furniture and removing the old carpet. They were meticulous in getting the pad and new carpet in exactly the right place before returning the furniture to the right place. A class act all the way around. read more

We were happy with our experience...someone came out to give an estimate a few days after I called. Salesman was friendly, answered my questions and offered suggestions. We had a small carpet binding project and couldn't find any dealer who was willing to do it. Two of them said they only bind carpets purchased from them, and two others just weren't interested. None of them would give me a referral to someone else. We finally checked with Matt the Carpet Guy and he not only agreed to do it - probably at little or no profit - but he did a great job and took pride in the workmanship. He matched the previous binding perfectly. I would highly recommend him as someone who cares about his customers and his jobs - large or small. Carol and Ron Olshemski read more

Excellent experience! The sales person listened to what we wanted, made good suggestions, didn't try to oversell us. He was on time for the appointment, and was pleasant to work with. We got a very nice grade of carpet with upgraded padding. Seemed a little pricey, but I didn't compare so I can't really say relative to other companies. We were told we'd get a call in about 2 weeks when the carpet came in. It only took a week and a half. The installers were on time. We were told the install would take about 6 hours but it only took 4. Everything was completely cleaned up, furniture put back in its place, old carpet taken away. It looks beautiful and is the soft, plush feeling that I was looking for. Matt even called to follow up and see how everything went. We definitely recommend, and will use again! read more

Today Matt and his crew installed outdoor carpeting and stretched carpet in the bedrooms. Another high-quality job from Matt The Carpet Guy. Convenience, price and friendliness as well as high-quality customer service are all hallmark traits of this company. This isn't the first time that we use mad and it won't be the last for sure the guy you can trust on the eastern shore. read more

Pricing came in higher than other quotes we received for a lower quality carpet, and the man that came out was extremely rude. We kindly asked him to put a mask on which he huffed about. Then when he entered the house my husband introduced us and we shook hands. He proceeded to say "Oh, so we have to wear masks but you'll shake my hand." Last I checked Covid is spread through breath, not touch. We were completely taken aback by how rude this man was. He made a few other comments that also caught us off guard. Needless to say that did not get our business and we won't be recommending them. read more

Couldn't be happier with the carpet install. I had Emailed Matt and he met me at the house and on time He measured the room had samples available and asked when I would like it installed. I mentioned that the sooner the better. He said how about tomorrow I was very surprised he could do all that on short notice. Now granted it was only one room but to come in the afternoon on one day measure and have his guys come the next morning was terrific. Speaking of the installers they were great, On time, polite, knew their stuff and left the room Clean and spotless when they left. Can't say enough about Matt and how he does business. read more

Just hired Matt the Carpet Guy for several small jobs. We had the first one done today, carpet stretching. The worker assigned was out sick and the boss himself came to do our job. It was clear that he was an expert in this and we really appreciated the level of responsibility shown. He even showed up early! Every interaction and communication with Matt and his staff has been timely, professional and competent. It's rare to find a contractor whose business consistently shows this level of dedication to the business and their customers. Highly recommended! read more

Needed to replace the flooring in our recently purchased 60 year old condo. Looked at a number of flooring companies, but gave Matt the first shot at an estimate based on favorable reviews. So glad we went with Matt. His crew did a fantastic job! We love our new LVT floors and carpeted bedrooms. Matt was outstanding to work with. Matt's guys were hired to remove tile in our home. They traveled well outside of their normal area (3 hour drive from O.C), performed the work the same day and then drove home. They worked extremely hard, were curtious, and professional. It was a pleasure working with them. read more

Anybody that knows anything about the Ocean City area knows that finding a capable and reliable contractor to do work is about as rare as finding a pearl in an oyster. You need to seek 10 people to get a price, and hopefully 5 will actually show up to give one, and on work day, maybe 2 of those are still in business. Matt The Carpet Guy was recommended for a flooring job by a trusted friend so we gave him a shot. Steve came out the very next day after calling the office to give an estimate. He was great, knows and enjoys his trade and left me feeling confident. I gave him the green light to do the job and in just a couple of days the job was professionally done. Thank you Steve from Matt The Carpet guy for a job well done. I know cheaper places exist, but at the beach, bargain hunting often bites you in the backside. Great guy and GREAT QUICK SERVICE! We had our dog tear up a small section of carpet and luckily Matt the Carpet Guy came out less than a week after we called him. His repair was first class and the ONLY way you know where the repair was is that the swatch of carpet we gave him to do the repair was a little cleaner.....that won't last since the area is just outside our kitchen. We would VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND Matt for carpet repair. We understand he also has a rug cleaning connection and he sells and installs carpet and we will definitely contact him for both of these services. read more

Matt and his team were terrific. Matt lived up to the high recommendation received from our contractor. We were able to conduct our final order very easily with Matt long-distance via email. Installation was done very professionally, the team was very polite with a great sense of humor, they replaced the furniture as we directed and they cleaned up both inside and outside very well. Also, they were early for installation! Thank you, Matt and team for a job well done! read more

We had carpet installed at our northern OC condo last year by a friend. The friend did a horrible job on the hallway with seams and since its Berber, I was constantly afraid of it raveling out. We also had some breakage in the ceramic tiles between the carpet and tiles. With the rental season upon me, I was in a panic so I called several local carpet vendors for help. Matt was the only call back. He showed up when he promised - in our very tight timeframe - and took care of the seams immediately! We then scheduled a mutually convenient time for Matt to come out to fix the tile issue. He was not only efficient, he was very affordable. I found my new OC go to floor/carpet guy for sure. I would definitely recommend him!! read more

Matt the Carpet Guy recently replaced the carpeting throughout our home. We estimated the job with Empire and Matt. Empire's original estimate was almost twice Matt's original estimate. They eventually came down to slightly less than what Matt charged, but they had lost my trust by that point. We hired Matt and his crew and they replaced the carpet beautifully and in a timely manner. Months later, when the dog tore up a spot, I contacted Matt and he came right out and patched it beautifully using a remnant he had left with us for that purpose. I recommend him highly for his prices, quality, service and integrity. read more
