Since we live three hours away, we had to put a lot of trust in him--and he completely delivered. He sent us updates and photos every night and kept in constant communication with us. He was patient when we needed time to make decisions and always gave helpful, honest advice when we needed it. He's incredibly knowledgable about every aspect of home renovation and we felt like he was always keeping our best interests at heart throughout the renovation. He really went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of. At our final walkthrough, he had already caught and planned to address things we hadn't even noticed. Jeremy also did an incredible job with the kitchen tilework (among many other things)--it turned out beautifully. He was always helpful and stepped in anytime Brian wasn't available, which we really appreciated. Overall, MAST was a dream to work with. Seaford Flooring is the epitome of substandard carpet installation and unethical business practices…read more-- it is quite a distinction. Two inspectors have asserted in detailed reports that their techniques are inferior, at least for my house. This lackluster company is incapable of appropriately stretching a carpet so that the backing adheres to the tack strips which creates bunching in areas. It is beyond their ability to cut accurate lines against a baseboards so now there are loose strands and bulges. Their pathetic attempt to properly cut seams leads to fraying. So would you want Seaford Flooring to come to your home? Furthermore, Seaford Flooring allegedly breached a contract with fraudulent activity - instead of the designated padding that was paid for, a cheaper lightweight padding was used and in some areas the old padding was not removed. So would you want Seaford Flooring to come to your home? And then we have another issue. As of this review Seaford Flooring is not a registered contractor in the State of Delaware so they cannot legally engage in any home improvement activity whatsoever. One should refer to the Contractor Registration Act 19 Del. Chapter 36 (effective July 1, 2021), which is readily accessible online as is the contractor search. So would you want Seaford Flooring to come to your home? There is now a rather large red flag fluttering over the Delmarva Peninsula, that wisely suggests that there is a rather good chance that you will not get the vaunted Smiles for Miles, but rather Tears for Years.

He has a showroom close to Sea Colony which we also visited a few times to help nail down our decisions. Weekend visits were not an issue, as they are aware of the typical Sea Colony owner schedule. Joel was very patient with us as we looked at many samples over several weeks. We are very handy and considered doing the job ourselves, especially after initially receiving a substantially higher price from a different local flooring store before we met Joel. However, Joel's price was so reasonable, we opted to purchase the floors from Joel and have Joel do the install. We cannot say enough about all of the extra effort and excellent detail during the installation, not to mention the kindness and professionalism throughout the entire job. Chad and Scott were excellent installers that work with Joel. Highly recommend them as well. If you are considering installing flooring, we highly recommend Joel.
