Full disclosure: I was accompanying my dear spouse and am not known as a solo Home Goods shopper…read more We were in Rehoboth Beach for New Year's weekend and my wife wanted to drop in. This is by far the Home Goods with the largest inventories of other such stores which we've frequented. The store probably needs to be 150% larger to accommodate what it currently holds. If you have a yen for something for your home or are looking for gift ideas, definitely visit here, but ideally arrive shortly after the store opens. I suppose there is some sort of rhyme and reason as to how items are displayed, but I haven't figured it out. They have whatever goods you might need or want for a home, hence the ingenious name. Things are kinda a mess, but that's likely due to the plethora of shoppers rearranging items, and a hard working staff unable to keep ahead of them. The prices are reasonable, and the items of good quality. I can definitely understand why my wife likes it so, and judging the the chronically full parking lot, so do many others!

The shopping experience here is fine for a discount home goods store. What left a sour feeling was…read morethe attitude of a cashier named Niesha. She said the right words according to some script or instruction she received. But her tone and unnecessarily high volume was pretty poor. Enough that her male coworker was distracted by it. People have bad days, but she should be careful about how she represents herself and the store she works in. Plenty of people would be pretty happy to have her job.

I was recommended to come here by a friend. I am an executive chef who has dined a lot of different…read morerestaurants. If I'm being honest, I wasn't expecting much but I was definitely pleasantly surprised. They have a great selection of pastries and everything looked legit. I got the ham and cheese croissant, a sticky bun and a coffee cake. Let me tell you, all three were stupid good. The croissant was perfect and you could tell the ham and cheese used was high quality. The sticky bun was yeasty, well balanced and had a ton of pecan goup on it. I also got a cold brew with a shot of espresso that was exceptional as well. I do wish they offered more sizes on cold coffee but I can live with what they offer. Parking is tight but who really cares about that, you know? I'll definitely be coming back in the future. The service here is perfectly fine, everyone was professional and quick to do their job. They are a very busy business, they're not going to rub your back while you take your time ordering your food. I looked at some of their lower score reviews and I only imagine they're coming from miserable, whiney people.

Absolutely LOVE this bakery! Went in the summer and got the blueberry lemon basil tart, blackberry…read moreand apricot opera cake, and potato focaccia. The tart had a buttery crisp tart shell filled with almond frangipane with blueberries, topped with lemon creme and a basil cremeux. The quality of the ingredients was outstanding, truly one of the best things I've ever eaten. Loved the variety of flavors and textures, everything worked well together. 11/10 The sourdough focaccia was topped with perfectly thin and crispy potato slices as well as some italian cheese and chives. Simple but well executed. Will say it was a bit too chewy for me. 9/10 The blackberry and apricot opera cake was also phenomenal. Tender layers of vanilla cake with blackberry and apricot jam and white chocolate mousse. Another wonderfully balanced dessert. 10/10 Went back in the fall to try some of their pumpkin pastries and they did not disappoint. I got the pumpkin loaf slice, the pumpkin tart, and the chai doughnut. The pumpkin loaf slice was good but a bit dry and could benefit from some spices like cinnamon or nutmeg. The torched meringue on top complements the loaf nicely. 9/10 The pumpkin tart was fantastic. Crisp biscoff cookie crust filled with a rich and dense pumpkin custard and topped with vanilla diplomat cream and pumpkin seeds. Best rendition of pumpkin pie I've ever had. 10/10 The chai doughnut was fried to perfection with a golden crisp exterior and a soft interior. The doughnut was stuffed with a light and airy chai mousse and rolled in cinnamon sugar. Absolutely delicious, the airy mousse perfectly complements the fried doughnut. 10/10 Also had the butternut squash soup and turkey melt at their cafe. The butternut squash soup was insanely velvety and creamy with a literal torched marshmallow on top as well as dried cranberries and pumpkin seeds. Best butternut squash soup I've ever had. 10/10 The turkey melt had cranberry cream cheese, roasted turkey breast, apple slices, mozzarella, gouda, and arugula on perfectly toasted country bread. Fantastically balanced sandwich, loved the variety of flavors and textures. 10/10
