Avoid!! We had flooring installed over two years ago. The flooring was installed incorrectly. We have tried numerous times to get it fixed and the installation manager just gives us the runaround. The owner is never available either. We are stuck with poor flooring that is damaged and OC Floor Gallery will not take any steps to fix the many issues. AVOID this company. read more

Purchased flooring for a beach first floor condo at the advice of a seasoned sales associate. It bellied up in 6 months. Of course they claimed no responsibility and blamed the dampness in the crawl space. This was not upsetting enough i was repeatedly ignored customer service for 2 weeks without a single return phone call. The bottom line was the floor was reinstalled by a independent contractor who charged me one-third the price to do the job. After OC Floor Gallery made there sale for 5 grand they provided poor if no customer service regardless of whose failure the fault of the floor relied. read more

They did a great job installing my flooring, and the price was right. A couple of years later, we had major contraction issues with our bamboo flooring. In short, it is defective flooring and the manufacturer would not stand behind it. However, OC Flooring went above and beyond by making repairs at their own expense to help us out. Highly recommended for work done right and follow through We recently purchased heated engineered harwood floors from OC Floor Gallery. The end product was outstanding and the service and follow through made the difference. We obtained multiple estimates from other companies - others promised but could not deliver. The owner of OC Flooring Chris Williams responded immediately to our questions and explained what needed to be done. Melody Banks in the. Lewes store helped us with selection spending substantial time showing the flooring options and styles. Glen Levy co-ordinated the complex operation which required several sets of experts specialized in the particular aspect of the installation. The carpet had to be removed and floor leveled for a proper installation. A second team installed the heated floors. OC Floors brought in Apple Electric from Rehoboth Beach to install the electric wiring with no damage to drywall. Glenn then brought in Robert Lowe, a window treatment specialist to remove the window treatments and modify them to accommodate the slight change in floor height. Excellent carpenters working exclusively for OC Flooring did the installation. Price was fair. For us it was important to select a contractor who knew what they were doing, would come on time and complete the work in the time they said it would be done. We found one in OC floors and would highly recommend them. Talk with Melody in Lewes and Jerry in OC. Both sales people proved excellent assistance and direction. I called OC Floor Gallery Monday at 11 am and got by far the worst service ever. I called looking for one of the owners which was an old friend of mine and the sales rep on the phone was extremely rude. Did not even give me a chance to speak. He spoke over me several times and i could not even tell him my purpose for calling. I would never do business with people like this.
