Stonegate did a superb job with our countertops for our kitchen, laundry and bathroom with a custom shower. They have a great selection of stone onsite however my wife wanted something "special" so we went to the stone distributor and selected some "exotic" (expensive) quartzite natural stone. The expensive part was not their issue. The logistics and timing went perfect and these guys did a superb job working around our needs. I have bought countertops about 6 times and these guys are at the top of our list for performance and value. Also very knowledgeable as my wife was 100% focused on buying quartz the man made stuff and they were incredibly helpful so we understood the pros and cons and after some research we made a better choice for us. It was a pleasure working with Ece, she was very patient in showing me the various slabs and gave suggestions regardiing color coordination and properties of the stones. Next the template guys Enes and Manny came to our home for measurements. They answered all my questions and were efficient doing their job. Finally, the counters were ready for install within the two week window that was promised. Countertop for vanity in our Master Bath was exactly as requested and professionally installed. They removed old and had to be careful because mirror rested on backsplash, but knew exactly what needed to be done. Stonegate's contracted plumbers also provided excellent service. Recommend! read more

they did our kitchen in granite. broke part of the backsplash and left it there. good thing I saw it and brought to their attention. first backsplash was shorter than what was replaced, which I don't understand how as i watched them do the measurements. applied the top protective coat but didn't clean off the granite from being outside first. it looks like there are rain spots all over it. they came out to replace the backsplash. said they would remove the top but our original was already disposed. so we were stuck with it. thought I did my homework when researching vendors, but obviously not enough. very disappointed. can't stand to look at it. read more

When they installed my full backsplash the installer scratched our corner cabinet. The Stongate installer said to let them know the cost of the damages and they would make it right. We also had issues with the caulk failing around the sink and allowing water to get in and the sink to move. I made many attempts to contact them via phone and email but they would not respond. We had to hire a contactor to fix the issues with the sink and remove the cabinet and have it refinished by the manufacturer at a cost to us!! The counters and backsplashes are beautiful however the installation and the rest of the company are a joke. The prices are cheap for a reason. As the old saying goes "you get what you pay for"!!! I did a great deal of shopping around for new countertops and discovered stone gate granite and marble company. They had the quartz I was looking for at the best price. When I was ready, they came immediately to do a template and about a week later they did the installation. All their employees are professional and respectful. Don't be fooled by the company's website and the counter that misleads you into thinking they have hundreds of satisfied customers. We ordered a granite counter top from them, it was cut wrong, too short and the seam was terrible, extremely noticeable like it was cut from a separate piece (which it most likely was). The lay out of the cuts was also terrible, one of the corners has a huge vein in it that goes all the way through and looks like a crack and will eventually crack. The vein should have been moved towards the interior of the piece so it was less noticeable and less likely to crack. They talk about commitment to their customer but in the end there is no commitment. Don't be fooled, look somewhere else. read more
