    Good Morning!
    Kurt V.

Do you want to know where the 5 Star Doughnut Restaurant tastes like? You need to look no further than Cotton Candy donuts. I have driven past this place 1 million times and always wondered why they draw such a Huge crowd in a little space when donut shops within a close proximity of the place had a fraction of the customers. Today I finally tried them and now I get it. My first time in a new donut place I always try a glaze, donut, and a cinnamon roll. If you cannot get these two things right in my opinion, you are just an average donut place. This place blew those two items out of the ballpark. Both were light and airy and perfectly glazed. This place has seriously ruined me for all Other donut shops!

Such a big fan of this little donut shop. They've done custom orders for both of my girl's birthdays that turned out perfectly cute and very tasty. And their prices are very affordable. Most importantly, their donuts are downright delicious and super fresh. My only disappointment is that I can't eat here everyday or I'd have to buy bigger jeans, LOL!

Donuts placed in box that was sitting on a cooler instead of a to go box.

This was my favorite donut place until today. I have not visited in a while, but I saw they had a special on the app to good to go so I ordered my donuts from there. please note I've done this before and the previous times I've had a variety of donuts and it was packaged professionally in one of their white to go boxes so when I go pick up my food, it's already ready. Today I told her that I was here to pick up my too good to go order. It was not ready. She proceeded to go to a cooler and get an old dirty box that previously had sodas or drinks in it that are now in the refrigerator. placed a white sheet at the bottom of the box and put my donuts in there. I noticed the smell was different in their donut shop and I asked if they were new owners and she said yes, and I could obviously tell by the way she was packaging my food, and the way it smelled in there. on my previously to good to go orders, I received a variety of donuts. today they provided me with five glazed donuts, three cake donuts, one chocolate, 2 blueberry and a chocolate twist. I was very disappointed in the presentation and the taste of my food. I went back in to get a separate sack because the cake donuts were touching the nasty box that she got off of a cooler And she made sure that I only got one small white baggy. Needless to say I will not visit this donut shop again and I'm very disappointed as my children loved going to this donut shop.

This donut shop is 5 stars in every way! First off, the shop is adorable on the inside & feels clean & new. The service is impeccable & the family that owns it is always so kind. When a friend & I were visiting she gave us both extra donut holes for free and then later when we were eating our donuts she sweetly came over and brought us chocolate sprinkle donut holes. The gesture was so kind! The donuts are pretty good and their is a wide selection to choose from. Give this cute new place a shot!

Ordered through DoorDash and the donuts were still warm upon arrival! The cotton candy donut was simply delicious along with the donut holes and kolaches. The cotton candy wasn't too sweet; just a perfect donut!

I hacked up the donuts to try them all. Some were so good that none are left. The maple is my favorite but we had two of those.

A Must‑Try Donut Truck at Klyde Warren Park!…read more We stumbled upon this donut truck at Klyde Warren Park while in the area expecting a quick snack, and instead walked away having tried every single flavor they offered. Yes, every one -- and honestly, it was worth it! Each donut was fresh, and crafted with the kind of care you can actually taste. The flavors weren't just different; they were thoughtful, balanced, and surprisingly creative. One of the biggest highlights was the vegan Neapolitan donut. Vegan options can be hit or miss, but this one was so good we had to double‑check it was actually vegan. It had the same rich, indulgent flavor and perfect texture as the regular donuts -- no compromise, no "good for vegan," just good, period. It was one of those rare treats that makes you rethink what vegan baking can be. If you're anywhere near Klyde Warren Park, do yourself a favor and stop by this truck. It's the kind of place that turns a simple donut run into a memorable moment -- and we'd go back in a heartbeat. My kids have already asked a few times, ha!

Out of the 4 donuts I ordered, the Banoffee pie was hands down my favorite. The flavors and textures complimented each other perfectly, and it wasn't too sweet. The other donuts I ordered were decent, but I don't think I'd purchase them again. The classic donut was okay; it was a little too cakey/bready for my liking. Although I liked the flavors of the yuzu & matcha mini, because of the smaller size, the ratio of cream/curd to donut was overpowering. Lastly, again, i liked the flavors of the pistachio cannoli, but it was too sweet and the cream was dry. Overall, I'd still go again and I'd love to try the other flavors. I love the creativity!

We tried several different flavors, including the Homer, Dirt, Raised Glazed, Apple Fritter, Banana Cream Pie, Buttermilk Bar, and Oh Captain, My Captain. The Homer was exactly what you'd expect--sweet, fun, and a hit with the kids. The Dirt donut was rich and packed with flavor, while the Raised Glazed was light, fresh, and perfectly executed. The Apple Fritter was one of the highlights, with a great texture and plenty of apple flavor. The Banana Cream Pie donut was also delicious and tasted just like the dessert it's named after. What I appreciated most was the wide selection of unique and creative Vegan donuts alongside classic favorites. Everything tasted fresh, and the presentation was fun and memorable.

The cashier was pleasant and the selections were mad plentiful. Donuts wear captain crunch, glaze, icing, bacon, toppings and have custard & fruit filling etc.... Open 24 hrs, I arrived at 2 pm on a Saturday and after being overwhelmed with the options, settled on an apple fritter and a glazed. Both were dry and def not fresh. The apple fritter had so much cinnamon, it was bitter and extremely dark. I felt like if the batch called for 1 tablespoons of cinnamon, someone misread it and put 1 cup. Yeah it was that much cinnamon!!! The fritter was nearly $5 and the glazed was a little more than $1. I tried to eat it, but wound up trashing it. I should have returned them before I left the parking lot...

I started with the croque monsieur, and it was exactly what I was craving. The cheese was perfectly melted and bubbly, and that hint of dill on top really pulled it all together. Amazingly, we got to try them all and with all the salty, savory food we started to look for some dessert to balance out our palate. That's when we stumbled on a stand that advertised cake balls. Yup. CAKE BALLS. We were all pretty full, but still wanted to try them all. I mean, when you're presented with the choice of Snickers, Oreos, Butterfinger, Cinnamon and Sugar, [Fruity] Pebbles, or Cherry Glaze it's pretty hard to single out the best flavor. I ended up getting their 3 most popular ones: Snickers, Butterfinger and Pebbles. There's one thing that you need to know about these cake balls. They're not like any other you've tasted. Usually, cake balls are made from a mixture of cake batter with a lot of icing to keep it moist. Beckett's method is to use a donut hole as the base encased in a layer of their own special frosting with your choice of candy or cereal. It sounds simple and mundane, but I can assure you that these were some of the best cake balls I've ever had in my life. The donut base was pillowy and moist. With the super sweet frosting it melded perfectly into what seemed like a piece of heaven in every bite. The crushed candy was the icing on the cake, per say, adding different flavors and textures to each ball. I really can't explain it more than I have. It was just pure awesomeness. In an environment where pretty much everything is fried it was a welcome surprise to find a stand that served something different. I spoke with the owners and they said they were in the process of relocating their business from Tulsa, OK to Dallas. Their presence in the Big D will allow us to enjoy some of these awesome cake balls year round instead of having to wait until the State Fair runs each year. Happy dance. If you're looking for something different keep your eyes peeled for Beckett's. I'm sure you will enjoy their cake balls as much as I did.

The beignets were made fresh to order and took about 7 minutes to come out. They were hot, soft, and very fluffy, almost more similar to a donut than a traditional beignet. Since most of my beignet experience comes from New Orleans, Louisiana, I definitely had a different texture in mind going in. I personally wish they had been a little crispier, especially around the edges, but they were still decent and enjoyable. Overall, I had a good experience.
