As many of you who follow me know, I have a serious weakness for sweets -- donuts, cupcakes, and…read moreespecially bundt cakes. So when I discovered Nothing Bundt Cakes near the Hill Country Galleria, I knew I had to stop in and try it. First of all, the moment you walk in, you're greeted by a very friendly and welcoming staff. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, which makes the experience even better. Now let's talk about the cake -- because that's what really matters. The texture and moisture of the cake are absolutely incredible. It's so soft and satisfying that it's honestly hard to put down once you start eating it. What I loved most is that it's not overly sweet, which allows the flavor and quality of the cake to really shine through. You can tell these cakes are made with care and perfection. If you're looking for this location, it's right next door to AT&T near the Hill Country Galleria, so it's very easy to find. If you enjoy desserts as much as I do, this is definitely a place worth visiting. I'll absolutely be coming back for more!

Okay. Here's the update on the second cake. I got the gluten free lemon and raspberry cake…read more Again, the frosting is delicious. This ain't a cream cheese frosting like the carrot cake. It's regular frosting. Nice stripes of frosting, so it's not too sweet or thick frosting. But there is a lot in the middle. As you can see in the picture below where I cut it in half. I didn't notice a strong taste of lemon. It's a little hidden. I do taste the raspberry which is wonderful. Very delicious cake. It's moist even though it's a day old now. Holds up nicely in the fridge. I would recommend leaving it out to come to room temperature. But store it in the fridge. As far as gluten free goes. You'd never know the difference. I had a regular carrot cake, and the lemon raspberry gluten free. And there is no weird after taste, cardboard flavor. Just a really well made cake.

Came here on a Saturday morning around 10:30am and there was a short line out the door. The line…read moremoves a bit slow, so even though it didn't look like there were a lot of people in front of us, it still took about 20-30 minutes to get through the line. We got an assorment of goodies, but I only got to try the Brown Butter Peach Donut and their Kouign Amann. I can't remember exactly the flavor of the koign amann, but it was really good! It was unique and carried a good citrus flavor - the donut was good too. It was dense and every inch was covered in yummy glaze. There are some small tables inside and outside to enjoy your goodies! Decent amount of parking in the gravel lot.

Anytime I'm in dripping springs before noon I make haste getting to Abby Jane's Bakeshop…read more Most of the pastries and bread are made from flour made at the Barton springs mill next door. They are a whole other thing and use mostly local ancient grains etc.. in their flour production. Everything is amazing here and the space is beautiful. They do get a line sometimes and you have to wait but it's well worth it. The star of the show here are the croissant's. I've never had a croissant even come close to the quality of the ones here. All of the daily specialty items are great too and I always take home a nice sour dough loaf. I highly recommend Abby Jane Bakeshop. It's amazing!
