Chocolate buttercream on chocolate cake, for Father's Day and family reunion (light patch is sunlight)
Dee Dee B.

Incredible decorated cakes! I found this place when a local mom swore it is the ONLY place to get cakes -- and she was right! I ordered a half sheet cake with lots of writing on it for Father's Day and our first family reunion. From walking in the door to order the cake, to walking out the door with the beautiful cake a week later, the service I received was VIP -- helpful, expert and friendly -- a great combination! I highly recommend this small business on Ranch Road 12 in Dripping Springs. I asked the baker if she took classes to learn how to write so beautifully on her cakes; she laughed and said her handwriting isn't very good, but when she has a piping bag in her hand, her handwriting is magical. I would have to agree!

I ordered a custom designed two tier cake for my husbands 40th. The staff at Well Yeah were exceptional! They sat down with me to brainstorm and come up with the perfect cake. They were able to do it in the 10 day period that I had. The final outcome was gorgeous and delectable. Everyone raved about how good it was and we were eating the leftovers for days. They taught us a trick with how to keep it moist once the cakes been cut into; so smart. I completely recommend and will order from them again.

Cosmic Cowboy Birthday Cake

With a big party coming up we needed a very special custom birthday cake for a couple Cosmic Cowboy Living Legends to present to them at our Dulce Vida Barreled event. I took a hand drawn picture to Krystal and went over the design with her & she created a one of a kind work of art! Not only a beautiful but it tasted divine too ! Everyone wanted to know who made it, so here it is. Kudos to Krystal and Well Yeah Bakery !

Everyone loved the lemon cake with raspberry filling the most.

Great cakes!! Just got married and we loved our wedding cake and grooms cake. I don't have the best pictures right now but from tasting to wedding day it was amazing! The groom loved his Halo themed white XBox. Thank you for making our wedding tasty!

The proud owner ...apologizing because most goodies were purchased...that's alright I will return!

When it comes to cupcakes, I am as much as critic as a fan...so if I say a cupcake can do better,…read moreyou know it must take a lot for me to say that and come to that conclusion. I've had Gigi's before (in San Antonio) and I don't remember if I truly liked their cupcakes then, but I must have not thought that they were so bad not to return. But I guess now I can confirm that they aren't my favorite cupcake. Reason being is, gasp, there is just way too much frosting...trust me, I cant believe I'd ever say that. I got a strawberry shortcake cupcake and while the cake could have also had a softer texture (felt a little too dense), the frosting was overkill. Don't get me wrong, I always love a cupcake with more frosting than cake, but this one just seemed more off balance than I'd prefer. Yet, there were plenty of customers coming in that day to pick up pre-packaged orders, so it could just be a "me" thing, or maybe the folks of Bee Caves prefer their cupcakes on the sugar high side! In Austin, Cupprimo ranks supreme, followed by a good ol' Sprinkles cupcake. The frosting to cake ratio of Cupprimo's cupcake is comparable to Gigi's, but what makes Cupprimo's better in my opinion

I've been wanting to try this spot for the last several years but anytime we're in Dripping Springs…read morefor a day trip, our plans never seem to work out. We arrived for brunch (they serve brekkie and lunch) and there was a line to get in. To be expected at a popular restaurant on a Saturday. However, the line moved quickly. Ordering is very much European style which is fitting as the owners are Belgian. You walk in and order at the counter, get a number, have a seat, and the food is brought out to you. It takes time to get the food, not a terribly long time but you do have to wait. Everything is housemade to order and well worth it. Exceptional European breads, cakes, croissants, soups, sandwiches, and a whole lot more. I had the breakfast croissant with ham and it was amazeballs! It had pesto as well, yum. The croissant was soft, buttery, and flaky but strong enough to hold a sandwich together. My boyfriend had a chipotle brekkie sandwich on ciabatta bread with eggs, turkey bacon, etc. It was equally as delicious as my sandwich. We also grabbed a couple of Belgian chocolate croissants for home. Ah, to have the flavors of Belgium and Europe in Texas is a true delight. The decor is shabby chic inside and out and I'm here for it. Ample indoor and outdoor seating. Coffee counter where you can get excellent lattes and other coffee drinks. Service is crazy good, happy, and friendly...even while they're jam packed and super busy! Absolutely cannot wait to go back again.

I was really disappointed with my experience at Thyme & Dough…read more Per my confirmed order ticket, I arrived and placed my order at 9:13 a.m. I ordered two breakfast sandwiches and two iced coffees, and my total came to $42.80, including a 20% tip. After waiting over 20 minutes without any update, I asked around 9:34 a.m. how much longer my order would take. Instead of simply apologizing or providing an update, the employee checked my payment time and told me that the wait was "right on target" for a good breakfast. When I politely expressed that the wait seemed excessive for what I had ordered, she reiterated that this was normal and that good food takes time to prepare. I didn't feel those comments were necessary--they made me feel dismissed rather than understood. She also stated there had been a long line ahead of us, which wasn't accurate. When I arrived at 9:13, there was only one customer finishing her order at the register. I finally received my food at approximately 9:38 a.m. While I understand that fresh food takes time, a 25-minute wait for two breakfast sandwiches and two iced coffees, especially with no proactive communication, felt excessive. A simple acknowledgment of the delay or a more empathetic response would have made a significant difference. Instead, I left feeling that my concerns were brushed aside. Between the lengthy wait, the dismissive interaction, and the overall experience, I didn't feel the service justified the price or the 20% tip that was included in my purchase. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

The interior is just as impressive, with a warm and welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. I ordered a large sugar-free vanilla iced matcha latte with almond milk, and it was absolutely delicious. Not only was the flavor spot-on, but the size was impressive too. Out of all the coffee shops I've visited in Austin, this place truly stands out when it comes to generous drink sizes. Their selection of sweet and savory treats is excellent, and I was especially happy to see several gluten-free options available. In addition to my latte, I tried the vegetarian egg bites, and they were fantastic--fresh, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. If you're looking for a great place to grab a drink, a snack, or just relax for a bit, this spot is definitely worth a visit. I'm so split on this review. In a nutshell the cupcakes were tasty and we got them on a two day…read moreshort notice - AWESOME. I called for custom Mario cupcakes knowing it was a short two day notice and expecting a no. I had other no's after the first baker dropped the ball and then I did when traveling for work. Tiffany said she could do them and told me to send her the online request and she's send an invoice. So, I never got a response or an invoice. I literally had no idea what I was paying but seeing as the last baker was about $6 a cupcake I figured it had to be around there. I got nervous and called the next afternoon to which she said she got the request they'd be ready the next day at my requested 11:30 time - perfect!!! This is where shit started sucking. See, the baker address is near my house.....and near the cater....and near the party venue.... my 11:30 pick up was based on this location. We left my house at 11 A.M. to get an email from her at 11:02 stating the "address of pick up" was clear across town off onion creek parkway. The hell?!?! I get on the phone and let her know we're on the way in the car. My husband is speeding at the times we could and giving me heart attacks when we couldn't getting on 35. We finally arrive at 11:31. Knock on the door of this house and a kid answers and then shuts the door on us. We, I kid you not, already running late, sat on this random house patio in 98 degrees for 6 more minutes and then tried calling her with no answer. We had to go get the food. Had to leave. I nicely left the voicemail that I'm sorry no one gave us our cupcakes but with the last minute address change and now already running late and then being left outside we'd go get cupcakes from HEB. I'd reverse my payment on Paypal. As I'm making calls to coordinate parents to help at the venue since we're late she calls three times in a row. I can finally answer and I get a "I must have just missed you" answer. Well, it is what it is. Finally after getting a guilt trip on me I finally tell her if she can deliver to the party then it'll be okay. She showed up, stood staring at me, handed them and walked away. I understand why she was upset. I hope she understands why I was upset. WORDS OF ADVICE: be sure to specify the price before 30 min to pick up and specify WHERE your pick up is. Ultimately though the cupcakes tasted yummy! Not uber custom but perfect for the price and event.

Two things you should know about me:…read more 1. I love sweets. What a shiny object is to a kid, pastries are to me! 2. I love free. The free world, free time - free stuff rules! Well, our office management single-handedly combined my two loves into one the day they decided to give away cupcakes to the entire office. The e-mail subject line read: Free Cupcakes in the break room from your management team! That was enough for me to jump out my chair and nearly bowl over two ladies in the hallway. After nearly busting down the door, there they were: chocolate, red velvet, strawberry, vanilla. All beautiful, and all waiting on me. The third thing you should probably know about me is that I'm seriously indecisive; choices are my nemesis. But, after looking over all my options, I went with the chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and pretty white heart on top. I carefully walked back to my desk, prize in hand, and noticed how huge these things were. Much bigger than your average cupcake, and slightly bigger than any other designer cupcake I've had in town. One bite and I almost lost it. There's real cocoa in that frosting, folks, I know there is! And the cake, so moist, so fluffy, so yum! The binge eater in me screamed: MORE! So, I obliged. I tried a piece of the strawberry cake with strawberry icing and I'm about 98% sure that those confectioners put real strawberries in those cakes, damn good. I also had a piece of the red velvet (yes, my eating gets out of control sometimes) and they were just as moist as my chocolate one and the cream cheese frosting - to die for! The label on the box said "Toot Sweet", the cupcakes in my belly said 'love'.
