It is impossible to get through to the tire dept to make an appointment. I called the store and then reached the tire centre. After a few rings it says good bye. I called ten times in a row to see if someone would pick up, but no one did. When I tried to book on line it directed me to a tire centre not connected to Costco. Other than going in person, how do you make an appointment. I just want to get my winter tires changed. read more

Newest Costco location in Toronto (Rexdale)! While it's been open for a while (since November 2023), it's certainly less crazy than the Costcos I've been to near me, especially the food court on the weekend. We were there around 4-6pm~ this past Saturday. Yes, they do offer samples. However, there were no rotisserie chickens available, but also no line for a wait for one. I took a peek, and it looks like the next round of rotisserie chicken would be a while (the chicken skin was hardly roasted), so I skipped it this time. Checkout was seamless they have one person scanning and another packing our goods like tetris back to our shopping cart for efficiency. I had to make a trip to this Costco because we were looking to buy a pergola for our deck, and this is the only Costco in Toronto/GTA that has the louvered pergola in stock. We went there to check it out in-person ourselves. Turns out if you are able to pick up the pergola in person, you can save yourself $200 vs. the website. I don't know if we have a van that fits it, so we might have to buy online to ship it out. By the way, Costco Canada now has the double chocolate chip cookie on their menu for $3.49. It's like the perfect gooey chocolate chip cookie that's thick with a bit of chew in the middle and crispy on the edges. SOOO GOOD. It's absolutely delicious but not sure if it's worth 820 calories. Costco gets us EVERY TIME; this time at this location tops it as the most we've purchased in a single visit. Ouch. Good thing we don't come here often, the stock should last us for quite some time. It's not the same when you don't walk out with a rotisserie chicken to signify a win for your Costco shopping experience. You've been warned. read more

This is a newer Costco that opened Nov 2023. It is less crowded than established locations; even the restaurant had no lineup on a Wed at noon! It is in a large mall, conveniently next to Hwy 401. The very nice thing is there is a huge underground parking lot with an underground entrance, great during bad weather. There are four huge elevators that move slowly. Most locations only have outdoor parking. The indoor lighting is brighter. At the entrance, there is now a scanner for your membership card. I guess it helps to detect if the membership is currently valid. The store is still large, like most stores. There are all your typical departments, including restaurant, automotive, hearing, optical, and gas station. There is self-checkout. One issue is that the return line is so long! Another issue is that they don't have a lot of variety for things such as table-top microwave ovens. We came here for my mom to modify her hearing aid. The audiologist was good. It was easy to get an appointment within a week, unlike other locations. Of course, we did a little shopping while we were there. The entire mall also opened Nov 2023. There is free WiFi. The store is wheelchair accessible. There are separate male/female washrooms. There is free parking in the mall's parking lot. Review 2024-264 read more

only accepts Mastercard, which is ridiculous. I was so excited to see the Canadian costco to compare it to those of the US. To my surprise when I get there to purchase gas I find that only mastercard and some obscure transportation card are the only acceptable forms of payment. I'm writing to express a serious concern regarding a recent experience at the food court on 07/27 at 13:48:09 I ordered an item that came with gravy, but the container I received was dripping and visibly dirty. When I politely asked a male employee for a clean replacement, he wiped the outside of the container with his apron and handed it back to me. I found this extremely concerning in terms of food safety and hygiene. Didn't acknowledge my request and did not greet me or make eye contact. I want to acknowledge that I understand it was a busy time, and I didn't mind waiting. I can't imagine how stressful it must be working in a fast-paced food court environment. However, below-par food handling practices are not acceptable under any circumstances. Another female employee saw what happened and smirked, making the situation feel even more dismissive. I had to escalate to a manager to receive a properly handled replacement, as staff ignored my initial request. She did not offer to help either. Due to the lack of proper response and the handling I witnessed, I am seriously considering reporting this incident to Toronto Public Health. I believe all customers deserve safe, clean service--especially when it comes to food. I hope this matter is addressed with Costco's @ Islington food court team and that food safety procedures are reinforced. read more

They recently opened up the warehouse in November 2023 and it's a bit bigger than older ones. It also has a parking garage beside it with costco-size elevators lol. This location has gas station at the back, that's not that busy; maybe since it's not accessible through they Highway 401. Other than that, it has good selection of fresh meat, chicken, deli, fruit and vegetables and also frozen ones. The self-checkout is a huge bonus, too. read more

My first visit to this Costco Rexdale branch. I was told by the guys at the Costco tire (Downsview) that this is the latest branch to open in the GTA. Although it looks smaller than Downview's but the guys at the Tire centre are truly awesome! What I couldn't get done at Downsview was made possible by Shaun, Zack & Kofi here! They should share their expertise with the other tire centre guys in the other Costco branches so the customers can have a way better experience! A Big Shout Out to Shaun, Zack & Kofi for their efforts today...indeed it made my day! These guys are the best and Costco management needs to really take great care of these guys - in fact, they deserve to some incentive (free lunch, extra day off, monetary, greater peer recognition...or all of the above?) for the above & beyond they gave earlier today! Stopped in today for a roast chicken and a couple of other food items. Large Self Checkout area thankfully. The concrete work is nice, you can hear the squeaky sound of shoes everywhere. The parking is rammed on exterior area, lots of spots underground. They have a wider selection of food items than the Queensway store. And they don't have those silly plexiglass anti Covid barriers at the cash area. Will probably make this one my primary Costco, but the roads in and out are poorly designed. Be prepared for driver frustration big time. read more

Finally visited the newest location, the second location in Etobike. After all the madness, it seems the crowds may have finaly died down? The bear wall is gone :( Very impressed with the newest location. People, aka the customers are actualy very friendly too. Went at 5 pm on a Sunday and it wasn't crazy busy. Was able to locate a lot of items that are normally sold out fast at other stores. There is underground parking and four large elevators to bring you up if park underneath. Ceilings are tall and the store doesn't look as big as overla but still big enough. It's nice to shop at a Costco that isn't normally crazy busy for a change. Still a line up for checkout but not that bad. Too bad it is kind of far to me or else i would visit this more often. read more

Covered parking, finally used it after the "opening" crowds subsided! Very handy to have in a City with winter that includes freezing rain to snow. The entrance ramp looks like it's heated.If it isn't , this could be interesting given how steep it is. Those walls are going to be great for the vehicle's body work if it doesn't have snow tires,or ice makes any vehicle without chains inept. The carts were great, lower portion is slightly lower to allow a variety of things to easily be loaded and unloaded. The upper basket seems bigger,handy for items that you don't want crushed. NO electric vehicle charging in Costco's largest market, Toronto/ GTA . There's indoor parking, it doesn't get any more suitable. Quebec has had their chargers at Laval since 2015.QC locations with EV charging below. The staff here are so nice and helpful. The location is less busy than the ones in the surrounding areas and the store is well kept. There's ample underground parking with access to multiple elevators. The only thing I would like to see more of is the Asian items that the other stores get. read more

Yesterday I went with my wife to buy few thing we need at this place. we went around looking for what we need and at the end we moved to the cashier a lady call ANA pretty sure a Latin girl. my wife and I have the membership but my wife didn't show it. Soni show my and said I want to pay these 4 thing in one bill and this one separate. oh my goodness the lady ANA said NO, you cannot do it. I asked why she said you need two memberships to pay 2 bills. I ask the Costco policy in where state that. She could't show me that but she didn't received my other order. it was bad did do any thing wrong Injustice want to pay in two bills with my only card because my wife couldn't fine her card. At the end my wife found her card and we pay. I went directly to the store manager and explain her the incident and she apologized to my but she evento I feel like a theft because Mrs. ANA make me feel like I was stilling something from the store.
