Over 50 people are waiting for their number to be called. This was more than an hour before closing

Long wait at the food court. Would have left if I knew I had to wait over 15 mins for hot dogs.

Costco in Richmond hill is my go to Costco location. Its not to busy and crowded as I do my grocery shopping after work.the place is very organized and clean.

This Costco has a tire center and cafeteria but no gas station. It's a pretty standard Costco but it gets extremely busy on the weekend. I'd recommend to avoid on weekends. The food court has self service ordering.

Great variety of goods and products, service is OK. Value is alright. As for selection, they don't have too much for each specific category, but I think they kind of wanted it to be like this.

Love their ready-made Chicken Tacos! Recently priced for what you get and occasionally goes for $2 off. Super tasty.

Been going to this location every other week to stock up during the pandemic and just wanted to provide an update. I do feel like the more I go to this location, the more I like it... Or could just be that I'm accustomed to it now. However, still doesn't beat the Richmond Hill location in my opinion. For one, it still has the problem of not carrying all items! On my last trip, I wasn't able to find the green bin bags and/or ice melters as they don't seem to have them, so I had to make an extra trip to the Richmond Hill location as I know they do have it there. Same goes for the freezer section which is a lot smaller, only one aisle along the backside with the milks and toilet paper. In terms of cleanliness, I don't really see a lot of staff physically cleaning but they do provide Lysol wipes near the raw fish and meats section, as well as hand sanitizers spread out through the place. Remember to sanitize as you pass by! Been really appreciating that it hasn't been overly busy each time I come, which is a huge thing for me during this pandemic as the last thing I want is a crowd.

Good store, good selection of items, cheap food in the food court, good pizza, ok french fries, meh Brisk Iced Tea.

Thank you to all the staff working during the pandemic and keeping the store stocked and organized.

This costco has a good selection of items for relatively good prices. Employees are knowledgable and Courteous. They occasionally have good sales but not that many samples to try. As always the hot dogs are amazing and for an incredibly cheap price that comes with a drink too. Worth it!

There are two entrances to this store. One is directly from the parking lot, on the south side of the mall, down a set of stairs within a glass enclosure. The other entrance is also down a set of stairs, but inside the mall. They have so many products all crammed into the basement. Aisles are narrow, filled with products from the floor to the ceiling. One side of the store has women's and men's clothing, drapery, curtain rods, and bedding. This store has all the typical things you'd find in a Chinese houseware store: pots, pans, cutlery, mugs, hot water dispensers, rice cookers, cleaning supplies (brooms, buckets, sponges), over-the-door hangers, kitchen tools and utensils, range hoods, space heaters, etc. What I've only seen at this store were washing machines and joss paper (ghost or spirit money). These are things that you burn for your ancestors to have in the afterlife. They had joss paper in the form of money, cellphones, tablets, watches, eyeglasses, jewelry, and even clothing with some recognizable brands.

My rating is 3.5 stars. I love the produce and Asian products. Anusha, an associate, ruined my initial experience at this grocery store. I'm rounding down. A few Saturdays ago, after dropping off a couple of items at the Markham Household Hazardous Waste Depot, I needed to get groceries. I did something different and sought out a grocery store that I had never visited. I settled for this Walmart in Richmond Hill. This Walmart is with a bunch of box stores. I used to frequent this area often years ago. I remember when this store used to be a Sam's Club. It was extremely busy in the parking lot on a Saturday afternoon. I parked a fair distance away from the main entrance. Unlike my usual Walmart in Markham in the Boxgrove area that doesn't require any coin to unlock a shopping cart, this place requires a 25-cent deposit to unlock one. I had a quarter in my wallet and put it to good use. I will say that I like the produce section a lot. It's probably because it features Al Premium products. The celery that I got was healthy and in pristine condition. The avocados looked good. Prices were decent. The fruit section was excellent. I got strawberries and cherries. I also saw dragon fruit and lychee. What ruined my experience was Anusha, an associate. I was walking next to a long fridge. It had ended, so there was a slight gap between my cart, with me behind it, and the next fridge to my right. This woman wanted to pass me on the right side between my cart and the open fridge. Really? I'm technically pushing a cart on the right. How about pass on the left like a normal human being would have done?! Anusha was rude. She had to wait in front of the fridge, with my cart and me moving forward. Just a weird move on her part. I gave her a puzzled stare. I loved the Asian section. I got gyoza that were delicious when I heated them up at home. I got black garlic ramen that I love. This place has a ton of ramen varieties that it was almost overwhelming! A good supermarket with Asian products has to have Pei Pa Koa. This store had the large bottles. Whenever I have a sore throat that leads to a horrible cough, this product is the only one that works wonders for me. I loved seeing it here. I got snacks I grabbed a bottle of peanuts. I also got a couple of boxes of Dare cookies. There was a clearance section as I headed toward the checkout. It looked so chaotic, as if a huge fan was trying to blow all products on the display shelves and it succeeded. It was so messy that I didn't even bother looking at whatever discounts were there. Also unlike my regular Walmart in Markham, this one didn't have any humans at the checkout area to help customers cash out. Rather, the self-checkout kiosks were encouraged. I had no problem scanning my items. I then paid with a credit card. I bagged everything with my reusable bags and then headed to my car to load my purchases into it. I was parked next to the shopping cart return area. I got my quarter back. I then left. I love the products here. It sadly took a Walmart associate to ruin my experience. She needs to realize that she is representing Walmart and trying to play chicken with my cart isn't cutting it. I hope that other associates working at this store aren't like her. She dampened my shopping experience by being an impatient jerk. Should I return to this store, I hope that she's not there. (323)

The store carries a lot more inventory and I have more luck finding items when they are on sale at this location than at the other Walmart. It also has a huge grocery section: bakery, meat, fruits, veggies, seafood etc. I also like their self checkout though they always seemed to close half of it. Lots of parking space as the lot shares with other sotres. The lot is always half empty towards the back. The only thing I wish is that it would be close to me :)

When you come in, it does give a slight attic smell, which I don't mind. They told me they usually restock on Thursdays and the other location by Sterling Road usually carries even more inventory. I purchased a shiatsu massager and back up Aukey earphones that were new in package from the Ex. However, the earphones didn't work. The great thing is they are one of the few or probably only liquidators that I know that allows for a 7 day return if there's an issue. Normally most discount liquidators I've been to, it's pretty much the final sale. I wasn't able to visit within 7 days, but did send them an email with the issue with the earphones so they extended the warranty for me to come in within the end of the month to get store credit or exchange, which I'm so grateful for. Apparently they sold hundreds of those earphones and only a few came back with issues. I was able to drop by yesterday after work and decided to exchange for another shiatsu massager for my in-laws. What I appreciate about this spot is that it's relatively organized in shelves with multiple copies of an item. There are bargain bins too for $5 if you really want to search for any deals and treasures. I much prefer than other liquidators where usually things are thrown in bins and you don't know exactly what it is until you open it. The staff there was also super patient and friendly. Definitely if you're in the area peek in and see if you score any deals. They will be moving back inventory from the Ex today and the pricing seems to be the same. Though they might offer tax off discounts with cash at the Ex but not at the store.

Went to the fitting room to try on some sweaters and when I came out I put the stuff I didn't want on the rack that they had in their fitting room and the person working rudely said I couldn't leave my stuff on the rack and that I was to put it back from where I got it from. TALK ABOUT GREAT SERVICE! When I was paying I was in line at one of their service desk and when it got to my turn the girl working walked away. I wasn't sure if she was helping someone else or if she would come back but she didn't acknowledge anything so I stood around for a few mins. She didn't come back so I went to another desk to pay. Stood in line for 10-15 mins behind one customer (obv taking their sweet time). Finally the employee was like "Are you trying to pay for the bay items? The name always throws me off because I think of Woodside Square in Scarborough. Anyway, it's next door to Kitchen Stuff Plus, which is highly convenient. This Winners isn't my favourite. It makes sense to me why I haven't got around to doing a review until now. It's not a horrible store. I find that the selection is either spot on or disappointing, depending on what I need. Over a decade ago, when I worked for a company in Scarborough, it was hosting its first user symposium. I played a few roles, including updating our corporate Web site with photos and information about the event. I needed business clothes. My friend and I came to this Winners to get some decent apparel. This store holds my personal record for spending the most time at a Winners during a single visit. We spent two hours looking at and trying on blazers, blouses, and pants. I ended up buying a blazer and a blouse. The blazer still works and has stood the test of time. I have since worn it numerous times for various job interviews. It's kind of my lucky blazer. Sadly, the blouse didn't last as long as the blazer. I recently went back to this store to check it out. I was here for one thing: a PopSocket. A couple of weeks ago, I got a new phone case for my new phone. I needed a new PopSocket, as I might as well go with this new streak. I came here last Wednesday after running a number of errands. There is always plenty of parking. I parked fairly close to the store and walked in. A friendly guy was manning a hand sanitizer station. He was great. I said hi and walked in. Purses greeted me next. Sadly, there wasn't a single Kipling bag for me to gush over. I was sad. I like that most Winners stores have similar layouts. I immediately found the phone accessories section, which is right by the checkout. There were lots of PopSocket designs to choose from. I was happy and selected the one that won my heart. I avoided the shoe section. I don't need more shoes! The selection of women's size 11 footwear is also hit or miss. It's all about timing. The store's interior is much more inviting than I recall. Aisles are wider. The lighting is better. I liked the improvements since I was last here. I paid using a debit card. There wasn't a lineup at 7 pm on a Wednesday night. I got my TJX Style+ card scanned, too. I thanked the woman and left. Here's hoping that it offers Kipling bags soon. It's a good Winners. It's just not my favourite out of the three in Markham, but it had what I needed during this visit. (429)
