I was going to do a thorough walk through of this Winners since I hadn't found any good deals in a long time. I feel like I never really spend enough in the bath and beauty section so I started there. Right off the bat I noticed that they carry some Every Man Jack products that can be expensive. They have a lot of different masks for face, lip, and the eye area. There were also some brand name ones like The Creme Shop, including Hello Kitty licensed ones. There were some lesser known brands as well. I checked out where they were made. The majority seemed like they were produced in China but there were a couple that were made in Korea which was lucky. Each section has one area that is dedicated to clearance items. Here I found a bunch of diffusers and some hair styling tools. One thing that has changed over the years is the price of Chi straighteners. These ones were smaller, printed with patterns, and only $60, not bad at all! The one area that this store was lacking was in the active wear. They didn't seem to have a lot that was really dedicated workout wear that you could sweat in. Other than that, a pretty great Winners with pretty high quality options.

I walked in hoping to return/exchange something I bought from the store online and the guy working there gave me such a dissatisfied look. Hoping to get something out of it despite the unfriendly atmosphere, I asked the staff if an exchange can be done with either a different size or colour for a product we ordered off the Capsule website. The dude seemed clueless. Do you know how do your job or not? After standing around for a minute or so waiting for him to answer me, he hesitantly concluded that he couldn't help me out AT ALL and basically told me to leave by saying "I can't do anything about it, what else do you want." Well if you can't do anything about it, get someone who actually knows how to do their job. 2 stars for the unfriendly attitude, lack of knowledge on their job, and providing me with one of the most terrible customer service experiences.

I walked into the store to ask for an exchange because the item I bought was a little too big. Not only did two guys working fail to even acknowledge me, but when I asked them about the exchange, they quickly said 'no' because the item was purchased on sale. And then I asked the staff if he was sure. He hesitated and then said "we probably don't have the size you want in stock." How would he know without even checking? I merely wanted to exchange for the same item in a different size. What kind of backward policy is that? They failed to even offer an alternative solution and I was just sorry out of luck. Never shopping at this place again. There are much better choices in the GTA like Livestock or Solestop.

On june 24 2026 was returned , Every statement you make is a complete fabrication invented purely to rob ‼a student of his money. Trying on an item for size does not give you the right to steal $688.17 through false accusations. When we tried to resolve this in-store, we were met with shocking and aggressive behavior. They refused to provide a refund and used physical intimidation to scare us--specifically by aggressively pointing a finger directly in our eyes while talking to us, creating an atmosphere where we felt threatened, ‼as if they would resort to physical violence ‼if we didn't back down. My son specifically asked about your return policy before the purchase, and your staff explicitly lied, promising 30 days. We have the receipt showing a 7-day policy, which you are now using to trap a student--despite him returning the items in just 48 hours in perfect condition. Response to the owner's false claims: Your claim that the suit is 'soiled or scuffed' is a pure fabrication. The suit was tried on only once for sizing, and the tags remain attached. You are making false accusations just to steal $688.17 from a student. To all potential customers: This store is a trap for students. They use verbal lies to induce sales and then refuse refunds through false claims of 'damage.' These people are professional scammers who target young students and rely on intimidation to keep your money. Final Notice: Your intimidation tactics will not work. We are filing a formal complaint with Consumer Protection Ontario regarding your deceptive sales practices and your aggressive, abusive behavior. We will continue to share the truth about your scam until you are held accountable. Do not think you can bully students and walk away with their money! Do not buy from this store! They are liars, cheaters, and predators who target young students shopping alone without their parents. They pressured my student son into buying an expensive suit package by looking him in the eye and lying to his face, telling him he had 30 days to return it. When we looked at the receipt, it actually says 7 days. Because we knew they were lying, my son brought the suit back in perfect condition in only 2 days--well within the 7 days. The suit was tried on exactly once for size. The paper tags, price codes, and plastic are still fully attached and untouched. Trying on a suit does not give this store permission to rob a student! The staff fabricated a disgusting lie, claiming the suit was "used" just to steal his $688.17 and refuse the refund. They are playing games and cheating customers from the very beginning. REFUND THE MONEY TODAY. We are not playing your games anymore. We are officially filing a major fraud report with Consumer Protection Ontario for scamming a student and breaking your own written contract. Stop robbing students!

They said they'd have the tux days to a week before the date of the event. They literally got it to be the day "before" the event. Why the quotes? Because they literally screwed up the date of the wedding and then tried to blame me. I wasn't really for going here anyways, but the bride & groom set up a group thing and everyone in the wedding party ended up coming here. I would've much preferred for all of us to buy new tuxes to match or just to wear my timeless tux I own. So after screwing up the date, they looked at me like a deer looking at headlights, like, "... what do we do now?" The supervisor/manager has no idea what he's doing either, so he's like, it's okay, "bring it back the day after the wedding and it's okay." The supervisor/manager said, "if you need alterations, you need to bring it back today (on a Friday) because the tailor isn't here tomorrow". So, after work on a Friday, I needed to quickly go back to work for a meeting. I was literally at the store at 4, went back at 530 and the supervisor/manager said, "the tailor is gone for the day". Now I'm here thinking, I was here an hour and a half ago, you could've said he's leaving in an hour, you close much later - you didn't mention ANY of this. He replies, "don't worry, the tailor is coming in tomorrow. Leave it with us." WHAT HAPPENED TO THE TAILOR NOT COMING IN TOMORROW?! Worse than a politician. I haven't had customer service this poor for a REALLY long time. NEGATIVE 1 STAR OUT OF 5 -1/5 Would NEVER recommend to a friend.

I hate shopping where I need assistance. I am a young independent woman that don't need no worker hovering over me. Unfortunately the layout and the organization made it hard to shop without getting the pushy sales guy. I'm pretty sure he already freaking knew that we weren't going to get a 700$ suit, so he wasn't the most helpful. It was so hard to find a suit that we liked, let alone two for the BOGO. We did not purchase it, as everything was pricey and it just felt old in there. Word of advice from one retail worker, if something is BOGO free, that means they're STILL making profit off of that. These prices were quite inflated so that the sale seems good. I would not go to Moore's again. It's outdated and the prices are crazy.

It's situated on the northeast corner of Warden Avenue and Highway 7, across the street from Markham Civic Centre. My first visit here was in grade 12. I wanted to go to my first major concert. Madonna was doing a couple of shows at SkyDome. I'm dating myself and I don't care. I needed a wristband to get my place in line, well before doing anything online was a thing. My best bet was getting one at a music store at Markham Town Square. My dad drove us up here. We lived in the Beaches. My mom wrote a letter to show my teachers that I needed to be excused from their classes. Thank goodness I was a good kid and student to swing this arrangement! In short, I got my tickets. I paid for them, even though my dad insisted on paying. I was elated. I made it back to school in time for my French class. I couldn't stop smiling. Markham Town Square will always have a special place in my heart. Little did I know that I'd become a Markhamite and visit this place regularly years later. This music store is long gone. There used to be a Chinese restaurant between the No Frills, and Town Gift & Postal Service. It has changed names over the years. It's the only store that is vacant these days. No Frills is your grocery store. I never have any problems finding what I need here. The selection is decent and I've never been disappointed shopping here. Town Gift & Postal Service is a non-descript store that you wouldn't expect to be a post office. People often hit Shoppers Drug Mart and are disappointed to learn that it doesn't have a post office. Town Gift & Postal Service is your post office. The folks who run this store are nice. It does get busy thanks to the post office part of this business. There used to be a Mr. Sub. It's gone. I was sad. I'm happy to see that a Korean eatery is about to take its place. I probably frequent these businesses the most: - Shoppers Drug Mart - Felix & Norton Cookies - McDonald's This Shoppers is convenient to get to. If I need to grab something quickly, I can here. There's lots of parking that it's rarely an issue. Felix & Norton Cookies are amazing. I love their gourmet cookies, perhaps more than I should. It's the butter that makes them so decadent. It has Pusheen products, which is a bonus. I like this McDonald's. Staff are friendly and I have yet to have anyone mess up my order. I tend to hit the drive-thru. This plaza has another drive-thru, which makes it stand out. You rarely see a couple of drive-thrus in close proximity, but you do here. The other is Scotiabank. The lane is tighter than McD's, but it works. For the longest time, the store where Canada Computers & Electronics is was vacant. It used to be a Future Shop. When it shuttered for good, it was empty for years, with a brief stint as a returning office for one of the elections. I love Canada Computers. It brings out the geeky side of me. There is a lot to look at and prices are pretty good. Next to Canada Computers is Honeymoon Dessert. It was previously a Menchie's. It's a nice addition to get your dessert fix, including really good fruit teas. I have frequented Cora's, Teriyaki Experience, and Pizza Pizza over the years. All have been at this plaza for years. I still haven't visited all businesses. Wonton Hut comes to mind. One of these days, I'll cave and place an order. This plaza has everything I need. Food. Burgers. Cookies. Computer accessories. Dessert. It suits my needs nicely. (172)
