It's closest to us Plus it has wide variety of all kinds of goods every family needs plus it's prices is fairly fair ! Costco should enforce more security of its customers, many were targeted in its parking lots And police should also supervise for the time being so its customers feel safe to shop at Laird location ! read more

I'm not a mega Costco fan (don't love huge crowds these days lol) but my husband is so I end up here more often than I'd like haha. Thankfully we've only gone to this location on off peak hours (it's still super busy) so it hasn't been too extreme in terms of peeps or fighting for parking. We've found some neat items for our house etc here and for sure some good deals. However since we are a family of 3 (which includes a two year old who doesn't eat much lol) we find we can't get through many of the fresh produce or food options unless we share with extended family. On our most recent visit, we tried the hot dog, pizza and poutine. I was surprised at how decent the poutine was, only wished the gravy melted the cheese curds a liiiiiitle more. It also would be great if they had a healthier option or two on the menu as well. See ya again soon, Costco! read more

They offer good quality fresh fruits and vegetables, fresh meat and seafood, dairy, frozen meat, fruits, vegetables and deli. The warehouse is generally clean and associates are friendly and helpful. They usually offer better prices compared to other grocery stores, but if you're shopping for one person, it might not be suitable for you. read more

No gas station at this Costco but they have other amenities like a tire center, propane refill, and the pharmacy. The layout is the same as the other ones when you get in so there's no surprises there. One of the interesting things that I saw on this run was a Kirkland branded Brita jugs. It's the same size and shape as the Brita that they have in stores but cheaper. Hopefully better quality too, since the first Brita I bought at Costco was cracked out of the box. Since this Costco is on the border of Oakville and Mississauga, I was hoping that they might have Korean hot dogs to cater to the crowd but they did not. Still a rare commodity it seems. They did have other cool Asian goods like the shrimp chips and the BTS banana milk, straight from Korea! read more

Been here many time (mainly on Saturday) - It looks like any other Costco (maybe with be a flipped floor plan in some cases) minus the gas station and feels like a giant maze to find things. Also, it is on the Oakville/Mississauga Border, next to a Brick and Starbucks. Before Covid, there are usually a lot of people shopping in the morning on Saturdays. During, there seems to be a lot of people in the morning or a couple of hours before closing probably because they think that a lot of people might go either time to shop. BTW: It has a self check out since Covid happened if you do not want to wait in line for the cashier. I am not sure if other locations have them though. read more

Like any other costco experience, expect crowds in major cities. At this location I was there at 2pm. Customers were overflowing to non costco parking spots too. I hope their neighbors dont mind. I think what frustrated me was the massive lines and one til was actually closed on a weekend. It would be appreciated if they opened all customer lines. Brookside chocolates were on sale 10$ something with 3$ off, but they were out. I learned the store gives rain checks. Cool! I really find people here are aggressive, they think ramming their cart at you will make the human line up move faster. That's pretty bad. read more

Costco - Watch out lots of inexperience shopping cart operator (she kept hitting me with her cart with no apologies) - Wholesale Stores Near Me - Mississauga, Ontario

What can you say .. they are always the best place to save money on your household needs. Good selection is the best with prices that save you allot of money. And they are the best at giving you a memorable snack when you leave at a price that leaves you with a smile. read more

Double stitching in a shirt for a bargain price! Forget about an outlet mall if this is important to you when making a purchasing decision. Warranty and satisfaction guaranteed else you get your money back. This is also a great place for fresh flowers. If you want a quick bite to eat, there are several choices of hot foods; chicken wings were recently added to the menu. I love being a Costco member! read more

My friend and I went in to Costco pharmacy to get him a plan b for someone else, and when he got up to the counter and asked for a plan b they made little comments to eachother and said "I knew it". throughout the interaction they were making comments basically slut shaming him. I am beyond disgusted with their service and the audacity to say that to someone being responcible. On top of that I called to complain to the manager and they ignored my phone calls. Costco needs to get employees that dont have old fashioned views and opinions or get employees that dont force their views on other people !! read more

I will preface this review by saying: we are not the key demographic, being just a couple with 2 cats. Therefore, we try to limit our Costco trips to once every few months or even once a quarter. Our lack of usage certainly does not justify the membership cost, but I think we go just because we can. I don't find Costco fun or exciting to shop at. I find it stressful and set up in such a way that is induces panic with the shoppers. Just enter the parking lot and you will see all laws and common sense fly out the window. People are running towards the entrance on a regular Saturday morning. Its like a damn zombie apocalypse. That being said, it is a highly successful Company. They obviously know what they are doing. When we do go, we end up buying candy and chips in bulk. Perhaps a DVD box set or a giant wheel of cheese. Not things we need... and certainly things we can get somewhere else for less hassle. Minus the foot long hot dog. Can't beat 'em. read more

Do NOT order anything from Costco online and have it delivered to your home. I ordered a crib and a dresser & the delivery men wouldn't bring it up the stairs (I am 8.5 months pregnant) and then had the nerve to ask me to get them some water. This is beyond unacceptable. I will be cancelling my Costco membership as well as my family. read more

Seems like staff are frustrated and don't care admin staff who should listen to what customers are saying as they are our contact seem least bothered I called to let them know site showing 9am opening but answering says 10am the rude guy this am refused to listen n understand and then said I called the wrong no rude as hell get ride of bad apples lots of people looking for jobs read more

Ridiculous treatment of customers by employee and manager. My husband shopped and waited for 40 minutes in line without being able to make a purchase while I was at home sick with our kid. He could not locate his card and had my card. He was accused of having a stolen card and the manager was called. Absolutely demeaning. He had to show a picture of us together to prove that he did not steal the card. He left the store immediately after this treatment. Is this how Costco treats their customers????? read more

Didn't know what the hype was all about but I have come to love Costco... You always have days where to hate it as its always crowded especially over the weekend. The store is huge and I always find it stocked up. There are plenty of cashiers so the checkout is not too bad. For the pharmacy you are better off dropping your stuff off as it talked more than 40 mins. Lot of sampling on Saturdays! read more

I read the comments before I went to this location but felt I should understand that most Costco customers tend to be aggressive after all we have read so many incidents on lots of locations Anyways I had to ask some questions to some staff ... once on the check out the second to another staff I found that the ladies were both rather abrupt and rude in the way they responded but I kept being polite and eventually they were okay like the saying goes Kill them with kindness ... read more

My least favorite Costco. Least helpful employees, a poor store layout, slow cashiers & packers, and the food court employees are incredibly rude to boot. Last time I was there, after a dreadful shopping experience, I went to the food court to order a chicken fingers and fries order. The "homie", young punk who took my order, apparently didn't like where I was standing around and waiting for my food. Barked at me to go stand to the right of the ordering area where the tables are and wait patiently over there , before he went back to "rapping" to himself, sloppily preparing my food. When I opened the box, there was only 3 chicken fingers in there. 1 large one, and two small ones. I asked him where the rest of it was and he said "We estimate it by weight now".. Really? Well I sure as hell didn't see him estimating or weighing anything else. Asked for a refund and did not return. This Costco blows read more

My wife and I usually frequent the Costco Heartland location and decided to go the Laird location. Upon cashing out, we were told by the cashier that spouses were not allowed to use any form of payment to pay for items unless it was a joint account card being used. We were so surprised and taken back by this considering we never had this issue at any other Costco location (in Toronto and Ottawa). The manager arrived and continued to accuse the other Costcos for not following policy...which I felt was very unprofessional. Additionally the associates who stand by the main doors verifying Costco members and receipts (after purchase) were scrutinizing Costco members like they were shop lifting (including us). This caused a massive backup while trying to exit the store. We haven't experienced this at any other Costco. All in all a very poor customer experience. PS. Parking is also next to impossible at this location (we were there on a Saturday afternoon). Drivers usually spend 5 to 10 mins driving around the packed lot trying to score a parking spot. We will not be returning to this location. read more

I love my Costco, every year I have to crunch and grumble by the thought of having to pay membership fees but I do it anyway. We drink a lot of water at home and they have the cheapest 1.5L Water Bottle prices you can get anywhere. It's $4.99.- for a case of 12 x 1.5L Bottles and going through almost 10 such cases in 3 weeks I think it's worth it. Then of course they always have their Kirkland line and there are some amazing things amongst it. Kids PJ's all Organic Cotton for 24M and under $8.- and for Toddler Clothes $14.-. Also their dog beds are amazing!! $25.- for a full size dog bed ( that fits my 115 dog easily ). But don't buy the foam one, just the one that smells like wood chips. The toy section for kids is always a gold mine and I have found stuff there that was over 50% the regular price at other stores. But number one rule with Costco is if you see an amazing deal you have to grab it right there and then because otherwise it's gone!! Have had to learn this the hard way already twice!! Also what I didn't know and was surprised is when the iPhone 4 just came out and everybody was going crazy over it and it was sold out within 24hrs. Costco had them and there was no line up!! I went to Costco shopping on the day of release and suddenly noticed the cell phone booth and saw a couple of people pass by and ask if they carry the iPhone and they said yes and pulled out a bunch of boxes!! Meanwhile everywhere else they were already gone...I guess nobody thought that Costco would carry them. Not sure though if they will carry them in the future anymore because I heard in the news that Costco and Apple had a bit of a fight and won't play nice anymore so Costco won't offer anymore apple products. Not sure if that will include the Wireless Booth. I called their tire service place for a quote and didn't find the prices very competitive... As for the Accepts Credit Cards question, they just started recently accepting American Express but otherwise just debit and cash. read more

I think I'd rather drive downtown than find parking here, on a weekend. This particular location + Queensway are especially bad. (Maybe after they open up their new location at Dundas, just east of Dixie, it'll ease up the congestion!) Just an update to my last review, park closer to The Brick/Ridgeway if you don't want to get a case of parking lot rage! For some reason, there is significantly less traffic in that area of the lot. Tip: Just accepts cash, debit, & AMEX. No Visa/Mastercard! read more

Costco is awesome. Full stop! Their customer service is second to none. Cheap gas. And great prices. AND. Their optical department is fantastic. Save a lot of $$ and get great selection of products, great staff too. They also have contact lenses and non prescription sunglasses, all the expensive ones too! read more

I love Costco!!! Just not this location. The floor plan is horrendous. Line ups to the registers are backed up to the rear of the store. The isle in the front is inaccessible. Staff just looks lost and confused. Love the quality of the clothes they offer. Always my go to for socks and sweaters. I think the majority of my wardrobe is Costco! read more

Costco is a good place to buy in bulk, if you need to buy in bulk (have a big family, kidnapped a few people and keeping them for a ransom, hoping to gain some weight to qualify for disability payments, etc) But, if you come here as a single person, you're really just buying too much of something you wont really be able to finish. (Unless its Nutella - who can't finish a huge container of that chocolate gold??) Prices are decent, as you're buying in bulk - but again, it's only good if your buying things you need. Basics. If you're like me and enjoy buying new things, you're going to spend a lot for a lot of something, that you may not like a lot. Parking can be a little hectic - so either come early or NOT on a weekend. it seems to be a lot of families outtings for some reason. Bottom line - for families to buy their basics, it's a great stop. Otherwise, just head over to some smaller grocery store read more

I came to this Costco for the first time today and it really made me miss my usual one. :( Everything seemed so chaotic and backwards there. I first thought maybe it was because I was used to the one at Heartland, but no. From the time you walk in (exit on the right and enter on the left?!) the placement of things is really illogical and the aisleways are really narrow. Whatev. I got what I came for and know that for the future I would rather go to the Heartland Costco. read more

This location near Winston Churchill and Dundas is near my work so is handy. The layout takes some getting used to but does seem slightly more cramped compared to the Costco on the Queensway. Parking and cafeteria seating is tight at this one so patience is needed. The great thing about this location is that there are many other big box stores on this part of Dundas so you can get plenty of shopping done in the area. Stock seems plentiful and food samples are always waiting for you. read more

Me and my Fams come here all the time...family of 7, gotta buy your stuff in bulk or else it'll last a week (at the most)! Costco basically has everything from food, to a pharmacy, from laundry detergent to prescription glasses. Oh and they have poutine, which is for after when you're tired and hungry from all that shopping and spending. Every time I come here, I spend a crap load of money. You actually get surprised how a couple of things can add up. That being said i wouldn't go anywhere else. Besides this Costco is Huge, so all you're gonna need to come here is money and time, and a bit of patience when you're in the line-up to pay. Happy Shopping! read more

Big fan of costco! Especially this location! This store does a great job of ensuring that they don't have empty shelves. Need something from bread to croutons or appliances and supplies, they will have it. It's also bonus that its not a busy area, You don't get the ridiculous line ups as much and the bumper bumper shopping. Last thing are samples. They have a good choices which produces a tremendous amount of extra sales and filled stomach. The one thing that this area is lacking is the gas station. That would the last star that that would make this a perfect store. Overall, there is not much to say but, but the experience here has always been great for me. So you guys soon existing and future members of costco :) read more

It's costco .....pretty much the same as all locations . I will admit the layout is a bit poor or messed up . The staff is a bit lost at times ...maybe they need training . Bad prices for bulk, long lines and rude staff. I was a member since I was a teenager and decided to stop going here a few years ago. I only go when a family member needs to pick something up. Prices are nothing great these days and it seems like people just come there to eat the gross looking free samples or eat from the resturant. They try to do copy an ikea-like restaurant (poorly) with cheap food ($1.50 hotdog or disgusting looking poutine) but the food looks stale and bland and the kitchen looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years. They offer car service but ever customer I've talked to has had a bad experience with slow service and rude customer service, which seems to be an issue that is widespread through the whole store. The only thing they offer is bulk items but you don't really get any value unless it's a super specific item which you rarely need to get. Avoid at all costs, my quality of life has improved since I've stopped going. read more

I had the worst service ever since last 20 years and other 5 years when it was price club long time ago. On Tuesday November 3rd. in late afternoon, the cashier Anna D. gave us huge frustration and unpleasant feeling during paying our grocery products. She looked like standing other side only for protecting herself, proving how she was right, scolding the customers try to explain what they want to and what supposed to be. Before she scanning ours she was very busy to fix something and looked like very unstable emotion situation. When we put everything on the table we let her know to split the bill and paying for them. In order to do it I put the divider between two separated group of products but the problem was we forgot to bring two buggies for them and they were supposed to put all together in one cart. That made her very upset and she kept scolding us why we did not let her know we have only one cart. During she was scanning them she was not stop complaining us about it and because of us, it made them very busy, hustle, and complicated. I have never ever seen that kind of attitude toward customers in any Costco warehouse till today. It seemed like we have to stand there that time for her to prove how she was great, how smart herself. Horrible work attitude, worst work ethic she has, extremely rude. It was the most terrible experience ever !!! read more

Busy, hard to park. Both depend on time and day of the week. I find this location better layout and more parking then the Heartland.

I love Costco..Haven't been in years! Nothing's changed from the last time I've been to one which was about 10 ish years ago lol Great variety on housing, electronics, food and products. It was really packed when I went with a friend( it was a night before a holiday) so parking was terrible, so many angry faces. If you wanna save lots of money, just go to Costco and buy products you use daily in bulk because there is always a good deal on. Hello paper towel and swifter jet fluid! & you have the classic hotdog and fries after checkout, really cheap yet tasty for fast food( beats Ikea one lol) read more

the lady told me I couldn't come in because I had a backpack and asked me to leave even though my parents have a membership!! I'm not so happy because multiple times I have come in and as a customer, its not so great that I have to always be treated as if my backpack has a weapon in it!! The lady rudely tells me to stop what I'm doing and I was just there to buy a cone. We have spent over 10,000$ each yeach just buying groceries, and the fact that they continuously disregard me as an individual is disgusting. Next time, I'm going to call them and ask for the reason they are so hostile. Disgusting, and rude. read more

Super busy. Can never find anyone that works there and all the staff are like machines. Great deals and prices though so who cares

If you have a family of 5, where are you going to go? If your child is heading to university, where do you go? If you like walking on concrete floors, where do you go? If there's ever a zombie epidemic, where do you go? ... Well.. go to Costco! Amazing prices on most things. There is a pharmacy, and an optometrist booth. As well as a fast food joint inside offering hotdogs and burgers and stuff. When shopping for food while going to university Costco is a must. Bulk foods that are fast and easy to make which dont taste like cardboard or kraft dinner. I'm particularly fond of the movie ticket deal they have... its like $20 or $25 bucks for 2 general admissions to famous players and you get 2 regular fountain drinks, and 1 regular popcorn. Considering 2 movie tickets alone is 25 bucks, why not get it while at costco and save an extra 20 bucks at the concession stands? Only thing i dont like about famous players is that their chair arms dont fold up like the AMC... but thats a different review. Anywho I love coming here for shopping. Its a big store but everything is organized fairly well. You'll never really have to ask anyone where to find something once you've walked around the store once. Clothes, furniture, games, groceries, technology... costco has it all at very reasonable prices. read more

I have been coming to this Costco since it was a Price Club back in the 1990s. I could go on and on about the love I have for Costco, but I wanted to focus on the Tire Centre for this review. I have never met such nice people or had such great service. I bought my winter tires there (MUCH cheaper than anywhere else I priced them at), and I get them changed twice a year with my summers. It is $50 per change. They are 18in off-rims, so you know how much that would be anywhere else. During the busy tire season, you can either book an appointment 2 weeks in the future, or line up at 5am to get a same day appointment (I have done this mostly). Recently I ran over debris on the highway and blew 2 of my winters. Costco ordered me in new ones, and installed them right away (I paid a very nominal fee for this as most was covered by their Road Hazard warranty). No fuss, no judging. Thank you! read more
