On December 1, I tried to order a printer, no matter what I did on my Apple phone or my computer, which is not Apple I could not get this to work call people and customer service code 2 or three numbers. Nobody seemed to wanna help me they said they had no technical support. I was really upset because it's a big company and I would think that they would have people out there. I was told you have no technical support in this company for a customer if they're having a problem on the Internet, putting in the sale for a product that says Internet only so I was told to me on the phone that they could not help me, but I could go into the store and someone there would help me put this order in. I went to the store store number 357 there I met a person her name was NARDA on her tag is said customer service supervisor I explained to her the problem I was having she looked at me she said let me see what I can do to help you. We went to the computer department. They couldn't get it to work at your 45 minutes to an hour she realized there was nothing we could do, but she promised me that she would get to the bottom of it and figure out what to do to get my printer ordered. The prom was on November 20. I was going to have surgery for cancer. I was concerned I wanted to save the money on the sale. It was $110 off. She gave me her phone number to the store also wrote down her name because I'm 70 years old and I have a hard time remembering things. She was very considerate and kind and she really went out of her way. We must've spent an hour and a half to two hours trying to figure things out. We tried every different way but loose and nothing seemed to work . The next day I called her back. When I call that number, someone answered, the phone asked me a few questions. I explained what was going on. They asked me to hold on for a few minutes and they would get her a few minutes later. She came on the phone and she asked me how things were going was I able to order my printer? I told her now is still doing the same thing so she said to me I'm gonna call 800 number and talk to someone in customer service and see if they can help you so she called back and left a message because I was not able to answer the phone. I was talking to my doctor so I called back and she answered the phone. She asked me hold on for a minute. She was very polite about it. I said no problem. She said she is going to call 800 number . After she called that number and explained everything that was going on she gave me the Number 800-774-2678 to call the woman that answered the phone. Her name was CLETA. This was amazing. It took me about 10 minutes to explain everything to her and so she asked me to do a few things on my phone then my computer and we couldn't get anything to work. This woman stayed on the phone with me for at least 45 minutes to an hour. She was not willing to give up. She was determined to help me get this printer ordered, knowing that I was gonna have surgery for cancer on May 20 and she knew how bad I wanted to get this printer before the surgery. So I could save money on the sale. If I had surgery on May 20, if anything went wrong, I might not make it back to order it after the sale was over, which is the end of May finally after all options were used up we decided the best thing to do was to sign out of my Costco app and then delete it then sign in under a different email once I did this the order went through very smoothly. I couldn't think that two people that made my life so much easier even though there was a lot of complication they didn't give up. I try to give her a Google review, but three4 seconds went by and there was no recording. Asked me to leave a review on how good she was so I decided that I needed to send a letter to corporate and let them know how these two employees went really out of their way to make sure that I was happy. LOVE THIS COSTCO when it opened however we've hit a brick wall on one thing! COFFEE GRINDERS. They sell the coffee beans but the COSTCO in W. Jacksonville has received word from the Corporate office that they will Jo longer be have or providing a means of grinding coffee beans. What the $&@#? So now, we have to either purchase a coffee grinder or go to another COSTCO that has one. Once those go down, that's it! No repairs! According to a Costco representative Costco members are putting objects inside the grinders other than coffee! Are you kidding me? So the solution is sell the coffee beans and not offer a means to grinding it? I have never seen anyone put anything other than coffee inside the grinders but Hell... you could get one of the 15 employees working at returns to grind the coffee for you behind the counter! Just my take! Costco's Bottom Line... buy your own feckin coffee grinder. I love Costco and I have been to the St. Augustine and the Town Center and so far the west side Costco is my favorite! this location is conveniently located in the exit for Collins, it can be pretty busy here especially during rush hour on the weekdays. Thankfully, they have the gas station here and this is the only gas station I go to, I refuse to go to non Costco gas station because Costco actually maintains their surrounding so it is always clean, nobody hangout outside the gas station because they are always busy and their price is actually very reasonable. This Costco is for me the biggest, this location is always clean and the employees are very helpful. They have plenty of space for parking and my most favorite part here is the staff actually the one who scans your stuff when you are getting ready to pay. we are spoiled here and I love it! It's indisputable that this Costco is much better than every single other Costco in the Jacksonville area, It mostly has to do with the comparative lack of crowds, I suppose, but the fact remains that this Costco is always well stocked, has a huge gas station, a really great meat and produce section, very good beer/wine and liquor sections, and a friendly staff. Fewer customers simply makes this store a much more enjoyable shopping experience where you can actually take advantage of all these benefits. The only downside I've noticed is that the choices on items like furniture and kitchen equipment are somewhat limited compared to other Costcos I've been to. Otherwise, fantastic. read more

We went to the Tire Center today to get our new tires installed. We bought the tires on sale online and were notified when they were delivered to the Tire Center. An email was sent with instructions on how to make an appointment for installation of the tires. Very easy to follow. We had to go inside of Costco to the Tire desk and give them our car keys 15 minutes prior to the appointment. Our new tires were installed in less than an hour. So glad Costco opened up the store off Collins Rd & 295 on my side of town. I've been there a few times and it's always so busy. But I am always pleasantly surprised at how efficient the staff are at checkout. I think it's very smart of Costco, not letting you wait too long, so you don't change your mind about your purchases. They have great food tasting almost every time I visit. Only downside is I don't see appealing active wear or ladies clothes at this store. I do see more men's clothes though. Today when I stopped by I was very happy about the gas price @ 20 cents/gallon less than any other gas stations in town. And the hotdog & soda combo for $1.50..best deal in town. We are several weekend trips to Costco In at this point! This visit was specifically for meats to stock our freezer. As we neared the refrigerator meat bunks there were many people in that area. The end cap bunker had super thick Porkchop packages in large amounts. The packages were priced at $1.16 per pound! At this price I purchased two packages, totaling 22 pounds. We will vacuum seal these into meal portions once we get home. Next up were the chuck roasts. These came In packs of two. Normally I purchase them at Sam's Club at $4.12 per pound. Today at Costco they were a bit cheaper at $3.99 a pound. We purchased two packages of these as well. As we were about to leave we picked up a pre made chicken salad. This is a very good Costco. It is brand-new and it looks and feels like it. It has a separate liquor sales store attached and it has a gas station which is fantastic. I love their gas and the price is usually cannot be beat. The Employees are very very helpful and continuously offer assistance when walking around the store. The store is not set up like the store on gate Parkway so it may take a few minutes to find out how is organized. They have great specials that change monthly and they have products you will not find anywhere else such as uncooked tortillas or their items in their deli with huge fresh pizzas for $10. I really like having another store on the west side. It is very convenient if I am on that side of town. There is plenty of parking and plenty a room at the entrance. There is also a tire center with fantastic deals on premium tires. If you like premium tires their prices cannot be beat. This far-from-home Costco has been a very valuable oasis for us. Where we once used to drive to Atlanta - which is probably 4-6 times a year - going by the turnpike, we now do the I95 to I75 route. Yes it's a good 20 miles longer (and perhaps 20 minutes longer most days), but I save almost $5 in tolls, AND I get to gas up at this Costco, which is enough to last us to Atlanta. Now that we're also Sam's Club members, it's not as big a deal, since there are some Sam's along the way, but this has become a bit of a habit. The line-up for gas could be long, but their island is 3 deep on each side, which speeds things up. It also serves the purpose of picking up dinner on the way home on occasion. And yes, I HAVE purchased wines from here that's not at my local Costco. All around useful tool to have in the travel tool box! read more

I really like coming to this Costco compared to the other one near the mall in Jacksonville because it is a lot less crowded and just easier to get in and out of. The parking lot and store are super clean and the staff is very friendly at this Costco location. Inside you'll find all the Costco items you expect. And samples, don't forget those. I love coming to Costco and trying all the sample. I use to feel bad that I would take the samples and not buy the products, but I guess that is what my membership pays for. What's not to love. It's a Costco. The store is clean and well structured. This location is easy to get to from the interstate and has plenty of parking. Gas station, auto center, eye exam station, and liquor store located on the Costco Compound. Prices are exactly what you expect and the product is fluid. When eating there, I tried to tip the person at the counter. She said they were not permitted to receive tips and Costco paid them well for what they do. That was good to hear. She made it seem like they get a living wage. If that's true, that makes me like Costco even more. 4 out of 5 stars because the staff in the electronics area need to be a little more attentive. As of December 2018, this location is still relatively new and not very crowded. This one also has a gas station which the St. Johns Town Center Costco does not. Since the layout is different, it took a minute to find our way around, but overall a much more pleasant shopping experience compared to the other Costco locations I've been to. read more

I've had great experiences with the costumer service desk, the membership desk, the glasses department, the pharmacy, the liquor store, the tire center, the gas station, and the check out, almost everyone!However almost every time I come to this location the food court staff is rude. Really just all around unfriendly and short almost every time. They are even obviously not working well with each other. They seem very unhappy. It's strange since the rest of the departments are the complete opposite and so delightful. The other unfortunate thing about the food court is that they still haven't brought back some of the items since they were taken off from Covid. I just can't figure out why there is ketchup, relish, and mustard dispensers but still no onions or deli mustard like before. read more

At this location you have a gas station, auto center, eye exam station and I believe hearing aid. They do not have a photo department here like the one at the town center however this location is a lot more organized. Oh Costco! How I love thee! It is my choice of shop! From gas, to tires, to strolls along the way for free samples, on the way to grab a hot and fresh rotisserie chicken. I know people say single people shouldn't shop here for such big items and quantities, but it is saving money in the long run. It's pretty typical to go in for one or two items, and then see an item on sale or for sample that I must need, and wind up walking out with more items then intended. Sometimes when trying to stick to a budget, I walk in with no cart! Must you have the snacks at the front when I am shopping hungry? But no worries, on days you do that, you can get some affordable food at the front or grab a chicken from the back! I also enjoy the strolls through the clothes, you can occasionally get some great finds if your willing to dig! I will say I am sad they have stopped having coffee on sale often. They used to have organic coffee for 12.99, and on sale for 8.99 or 9.99. Now it's 16.99, and rarely goes on sale. read more
