This is my favorite target when visiting Jacksonville! This store is humongous. It has a sushi bar, a bakery and more! You need a lot of time when you visit this location. It's like the elite target. Groceries are always fresh and fully stocked. Didn't have a hard time finding an employee when I was lost in the store, but it was fun exploring. read more

I came into this target to do some Christmas shopping. I was very impressed. Everything was fully stocked, and there was Lightfoot traffic. Being located near the base this target, heavily caters to the military community. They had a very large food selection, a Starbucks and even an Ulta section. Customer service was very helpful and I got everything that I needed. read more

This is my local Target on the North of my home. It evolves its products quite frequently. There are always items found at Target not found at its competition. They might be higher in price but I do find they shelf quality products. They have a large clothing department and grocery store. In the back of the store you will find seasonal holiday items and garden products and that is usually where I visit. If your decorating your house everything you need can be found here. They have plenty of parking and of course a Starbucks :). read more

Is it possible to visit Target and not have the time of your life. Haha. I was out of town and needed to pick up a few items so I did a quick Target run. This store is huge and so well maintained. Clean bathrooms and a nice size Starbucks inside. Lots of associates were visible if you're in need of assistance. I'm doing this five star review for target and as I said here I'm trying to think of anything I could complain about in my entire circumstance and hour that I spent there at the target. I used to come here all the time when my kids were small but I haven't been in a year probably now. What I noticed is that the aisles are wide and brightly lit and you can see everything. They have a great selection of decently priced kids I'm a little thing and the food prices are not bad. The prices on sheets and towels and such is a bit higher than some other places but you can usually catch some kind of sale. They have a nice little snack bar and the obligatory Starbucks which was crowded when we were there. All the cuts of meat looked great in the Meet department. Staff was friendly. Oh. Right. The self checkout is difficult the thing has problems but that is it. read more

I ordered for pickup and I selected the drive up option. I specifically asked them to give me my things from the drivers side. Just to make it easier for them so that they won't need to load my car but just hand me everything as I put it on my passenger side. The lady pulls up with everything on the passenger side. Reason why I didn't want her going to the passenger side is because the door does not work. I asked if her if she could pull to the other side so she can just hand me everything. She scoffed, rolled her eyes and threw a hissy fit because I asked if she could pull the other side. I was just like okay never mind because she's making it seem like it's the HARDEST thing to do. She then proceeds to hand me everything but she was just straight up rude. Never coming here again. read more

This may be my favorite Target in this city. First and foremost it is a super target so it has plenty to look at. Typically, I can find everything I need and drive up services are always right on time. This store has a Starbucks inside plus plenty of self checkout lanes. In addition to get self checkout lanes they usually have a decent amount of regular checkout lanes available as well. The store is always clean and employees are kind. read more

Okay, I am a target fanatic, having just moved to Jacksonville I have been to several different ones I see as I drive around and this one takes the cake. It's always so perfectly organized, I come on weekdays in the morning and it's empty, not a lot of people around and it's just how I like it, pretty quiet with ample staff to help answer my questions or help me find my way around because every target is organized differently. They always have perfectly marked clearance areas that can be found from the main entrance with all their rigged clearance signs and unlike many other stores they actually have good clearance prices on clothing and items. The service in this Target is amazing. This store is one of the larger Targets and has so many things. This Target has a large supermarket area as well. What I want to tell you about is the red velvet cupcakes.... Now sure... every time I go I browse the store and buy some other things to make myself feel like I didn't just come for cupcakes BUT let's be honest.... I'm really there for the cupcakes.... So this Target is a Super Target. I'm sure you see those Target memes on social media, you never go to Target for what you really need, you always end up buying things you DON'T need. LOL. This is my preferred Target to stop at even though the Target on San Jose is much closer for me, because this one is Super Target. I can literally spend hours at this Target. Just give me a venti iced caramel macchiato from the attached Starbucks inside, let me loose and I'm in heaven, LMAO. This particular Target seems to carry a lot of good steals and clearances at the end aisles and even in between, so it's fun to bargain hunt. The employees I've encountered have always been very friendly and helpful, even at times will go out of their way to make sure you get what you need. They will sometimes have sample carts out like Costco does and you can try a new product for free. Even as a Super Target, they may sometimes don't carry what you may be looking for. I needed heavy cream on one occasion and they ran out of the regular variety, and only have a couple cartons left of the organic kind that looks like they've been handled by multiple hands... so I ended up getting it elsewhere. How surprising is that?!?! One star docked. But still, I love Target. read more

Joseph who works at the cashier was very friendly and he actually helped me before. They did an awesome deed for me, i left my wallet at the counter and just walked away and then him and the other employee was looking for me to give me back my wallet! This target has an amazing selection of toys that are diverse. I love all of the race and ethnicity options for my son. I went today to get a bathing suit for everyone in my family and was dissapointed. There are a million options for women and exactly 8 options for men's swim trunks. AND they were very hard to find. I had to ask two employees because they were tucked in the back by a walk instead of in the front like the womens swimwear. We live in Florida, I'm literally writing this review from the beach in February. Then I try to get one for my son who wears 12m infant clothes, and the lowest size they go to is 18m. When I finally go to checkout the cashier is super chatty about what i'm buying and what the person in front of me is buying. I get being nice but i don't want you commenting on what i'm purchasing and making conversation about specific things. read more

I really hate Walmart and when I'm just not in the mood for the drama, Target is where I head! Even when they are busy, I never have trouble finding a parking place. The store is nice, clean, and organized. Again, even when they are busy, I never have people bumping into me like I do at Walmart. Since I have serious issues with people invading my bubble (personal space), this is a welcomed change from Walmart. They are a bit higher than Walmart, but I have found that by signing up for their red card and getting 5% off my entire purchase, it kinda makes the prices even out. For the most part that is. It's certainly worth it to pay the little extra just to be able to shop in a non-zoolike atmosphere. The customer service here is great. I love the red phones they have throughout the store. If I can't find something, I can just pick it up and an employee will come right to me. Seriously. I've never had to wait more than a minute for an employee to get to me. They are always friendly and eager to help. Yes, please. You sure don't get that kind of customer service at Walmart. There are always plenty of employees manning the cash registers so it never takes long to check out. Nine times out of ten, I leave Walmart with a headache and high blood pressure. I also generally feel like punching someone in the nose! When I leave this Target, I'm always nice and relaxed... just like I was when I walked in. I really don't frequent Target stores much, but this is the best location since it is right next to NAS. Best place to park and watch the airshow. I came here to find Halloween costumes, but ended up getting one somewhere else. The ones they had were actually competitively priced. And a decent place to pick up bulk mens underwear and socks. They usually have a great selection and good prices. I love that they have a Starbucks here and I get one every time I go. The service has always been fast and friendly. You can pay with your SB App or Gold Card for points so that's a total plus for me. The store always seems clean and organized even during their busier times. And the times I've gone, several employees always ask if I need assistance. Very nice. The parking lot is huge so that's never been an issue for me and it is conveniently located. Plus there's a full grocery inside. Overall, this Target is a nice place to shop. Weekday mornings are less crowded and the best time to visit especially during the holidays. I worked for Target as a seasonal associate and it was terrible my experience was racist the managers are terrible they don't care about employees they do not have Open Door policies and team lead Chris and the deli section has bad hygiene Starbucks barely rotates their food Deli always replace updated stickers on spoiled Frozen products that they place on shelves to make it seem like it is fresh just a heads up . This Target on Roosevelt is probably one of my favorites in town. When I lived in Avondale and Riverside I frequented this store on a regular basis. Now, I mainly go when one of my other stores don't have something in stock that this one does. First off, the store is huge! It is a fantastic space and they organized it well. There is pretty much everything you need all in one place. There is ample parking and I have never had an issue finding a spot. The super part of the store, with all of the groceries has a fantastic selection of fruits, veggies, meats and all other grocery items. They even have fresh breads. They have a good size clothing section, automotive area and just about everything else. The employees are genuinely helpful and I haven't had a problem with service. There is a Starbucks inside which is also nice. Make sure you download the cartwheel app for additional savings on everyday items....it really adds up!! read more

Don't get me wrong, I do really like this Target (its clean and well stocked), but have to give it 3 stars due to its over-zealous security. If you do not fit the their notion of the ideal customer, they will follow you. I even pointed out my tag-along to the cashier who confirmed it was a security personnel and not a random pervert or pickpocket. This place is clean and brightly lit, as with most Targets but what I really like about this location is that they are typically spot on with their inventory. I'm a deal seeker and I can't tell you how many countless times I've walked into a big box store because the item displayed as "available" but that's wrong because inventory is off. Target is essentially Walmart without the wildlife. Target is the store for me. It's clean and has everything one would need. Prices are a tad more than let's say the Walmart's but the atmosphere and fellow shoppers make for a better experience. Target employees on the average tend to me to be more welcoming and helpful. But, do not wear a red shirt while shopping here. If I see you do so, you will be forced to answer my questions on patio furniture. The only downside I can think of Target store is the mere fact of how much you can spend. The store is the go to place for our everyday household shopping needs. If you can leave a Target spending less than $100, show me your gills or your power switch, its not human. I can't fathom a town without a Target and thankfully neither can America. read more

This is a great location...The store is very clean and organized.... The staff is super helpful and friendly....They have have red phones throughout the store if you need assistance....This makes getting help so much easier and you don't have to hunt anyone down... The parking here isn't an issue because the lot has plenty of spaces. This is a great place to shop if you're in the area. read more

What can I say here really, a Target is a Target right? Although the layout is a little different from some other locations (at this store, when you walk in, electronics to your right.... where I'm used to seeing women's clothing) it's OK. Always clean and bright... we definitely enjoy the experience here over a Walmart ANY DAY. Kinda bummed the garden center is not open anymore... it was last year, but that just gives me the opportunity to shop at more locally owned nurseries. Also, almost every cashier is a bit slow and the gal we had on Sunday was straight up from the SNL Target skit! LOL, hilarious. :) No matter WHAT I need or go in for, I never walk out spending less than 100 bucks. Parking is generally easy and makes for a no hassle shopping trip. read more

Selection: for such a big target, I feel like they still only keep the 'basics' on hand. Wait times at check-out: ALWAYS a long wait. And this isn't the busiest target in the world. So I really don't get why they can't keep the front registers better manned. Positive: they have all the basic groceries you would need. Sometimes they seem helpful and normal then, other times they follow me around the store like crazy people. The other day I went to purchase some birthday cards and some gift cards and 3 employees that had nothing to do with the transaction literally stood there staring at me with an evil frown looking at my wallet. Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had at a target, I have never encountered such a nasty employee when coming to target but today really takes the cake. Around 2:42pm today there was this super lazy guy who had such a nasty attitude towards me when I asked for help in the self checkout lane near the food section. I had to ask for help 4 times because each time he would just come up to me ( and he got a little too close for comfort when standing near me, which also made me feel very uncomfortable/unsafe with everything going on) and would literally just point at something and walk away super fast. He has such a nasty attitude whenever I asked for help and he straight up said to me with such an attitude and had such an annoyed expression "I can't be helping evyone all at once and you should be able to figure it out yourself" and would walk away. I asked for help 3 more times because I had coupons to use and I wasn't sure what to do and he literally looked so annoyed and just unhappy overall whenever I even asked for help and just point and walk away super fast. It got to the point where I just had to leave all my stuff I was going to buy and just buy what I needed to get out because I have an appointment and he was taking super long to even help me out and wouldn't even do anything but stand there and stare at me with disgust in his face. Honestly I have never had any issue ever with this target but today was just so horrible and I felt like a burden for even asking for help when its literally his job. I can't remember her name but she was so kind and so nice considering her situation I'm sure she was in pain but was working like nothing was wrong with a smile on her face. Like most targets if you are trying to find something that is on sale and could possibly be paired with multiple coupons you can count yourself out of getting it. Went in for a few things and they didn't have any on the shelf. Target has great deals needless to say. This location has food. There deli is nice. Essentially Target is Wal-Mart for people who bath regularly and have less than 3 felony convictions... this week. If you like your department store to be cleaner than a gas station bathroom than consider Target as a viable alternative to the Walton Family's Food-Stamp Factory known as Wal-Mart. The prices are a fuzz higher than Wal-Mart but there are employees, as in they exist and can be found for assistance some of the time and you probably won't contact some sort of VD from touching shelved products.
