Eco Relics is nothing else you've experienced in the Vintage/Antique market. Sure, they have the typical offerings, but they go above and beyond the usually experience. There are outdoor and indoor collectibles here and the place is huge. Outside, you find outdoor decor, pavers and really unique ideas for the outside of your home. Inside...anything you may want in an antique store, and more of it than you may be used to. Grand offerings of furniture as well. What I really love is that they will create and help you design your own furniture from the collections of wood they have as well. Finally, they are like a hardware store on steroids. I love repurposed stuff! My guy and I spent an afternoon here and left with sooo many ideas. They have incredible.woodwork, old Egyptian doors and even resident cat on site keeping an eye on things. I really shouldn't rate Eco Relics because I didn't buy anything, but it just looks like a wonderful place and is full of treasures. They also hope to start building furniture. Very friendly and helpful staff. Honestly, it reminded me of where Indiana Jones might find or hide a relic! We were there to help a friend transport packing boxes he bought at a fabulous price (if you need those). The entrance is on the side with the drive to the parking lot on back. I cannot say enough positive things about Eco Relics. They are my go-to place anytime I need building materials for my circa 1910 Queen Anne style home in Springfield. They have a wide selection of unusual items. I especially love browsing through their many door knobs and escutcheons. I found a beautiful knob for my parlor door. I purchased gorgeous escutcheon plates for my restored front door. I also found two antique five panel doors to replace missing ones in my home. All of the staff is always so helpful. Laura is always friendly and goes above and beyond to help in any way she possibly can. Billy is incredibly kind and spent a great deal of time helping me find the right size spindle and set screws for my new knob. Eco Relics has helped me with two historic homes now, my first in Riverside where I re-paved my entire driveway with all Eco Relics brick pavers, which I highly don't recommend anyone doing ever! LIKE EVER! And now I'm moved into a 117 year old house in Springfield and am in the process of replacing all of the doors, handles, and locks that were replaced with generic handles and such. You can find the coolest stuff here including down to the old screw you might need, but they also have wood, a wood work shop, old doors and windows, a whole hardware section, all the lamp posts and replacement glass you could ever need! read more

My friend spends a lot of time here and suggested we visit to look for an anniversary gift for my wife. I'm not a fan of clutter or crowded spaces so I was a bit overwhelmed by my surroundings. I will say if you're looking for a good piece of wood, some vintage furniture or for someone to do excellent woodwork, this is your place. Be prepared to spend hours strolling through the aisles. I was lucky enough to find an inexpensive piece of maple that my friend turned into a masterpiece. I found this place when I first moved to Jacksonville almost 5 years ago- in love with architectural reclaims~ I mean, who doesn't love something beautiful from another time. I had visited one in Sarasota years ago and that is what put it in my mind! When I visited Eco-Relics years ago- much of what is sold didn't apply to my living conditions (apartment living)- but now with a house! I couldn't wait to walk the (I believe the sales guys said) 6000 square feet not including the "yard". Now- just a we bought a house- so this was my preverbal candy store! I will preface this with- I was just recently at a few different antique markets/malls, so my expectations were probably high. Yes- they have a huge warehouse of almost anything you can dream up, plenty of antiques such as records, 8-tracks, record players, beastly floor furniture stereos, furniture, steamer trunks and so much more. Arcade games~ some of those were fun to see. Then there are stained glass windows- plenty! I have one that was gifted to me over a decade ago from a neighbor and I can only imagine how much it is worth- theirs sell for on average $300-$400. Doors! Ok- you have to understand that they have plenty of doors and windows and then the have DOORS- decorative, ornamental, gorgeous passages into another time. And well out of my budget- but I can look and admire and take pictures. I also have a stained glass door that I am hoping to weatherproof and add to my garden~ that is what a store like this is for, adding those eclectic and touches of artistry to your home or business. I somehow missed the section of wrought iron pieces- hangers, and such. That was my purchases from years ago. As an avid scouter (Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts) I had hand picked Fleur-de-lis hooks! This time around- there were plenty of things that were cool, but there just isn't the love in the pieces like an antique store- but the prices are the same and/or sometimes higher. While there were plenty of things that had me almost fall in love- the sticker shock time and time again killed it. If money were not an object AND you were willing to restore the items you find here- this is a cool place to shop. I will say their lumber aisles had me drooling over so many projects I could do with such gorgeous specimens. If nothing else- it was fun to explore! Oh- and the yard, you might wanna wear closed toed shoes if you really want to explore out there. I stuck to the path, while donning flip flops. read more

I had never been to this place but had heard amazing things about it. We went on a Saturday, just not early enough. We didn't have near enough time to walk around the huge warehouse full of amazing articles. I love looking at vintage articles and this place has plenty of them. From old coke bottles to lighting, they have anything you could ever imagine. I could spend hours on end here and love every minute of it. I fell in love with a movie projector they have there and may have to go back to buy it. I am a huge fan of old camera equipment. If you are into DIY you can find anything you need or want here. I had never been to this spot though hearing other people talk about. Out with girlfriends this weekend and we stopped in. It is a huge warehouse with a bunch of salvage things. I mean so many things I can't even name it all. I'm not really into all that stuff, but the one thing I found interesting was the pieces of different types of wood you could buy or have made into some cool things like live edge tables. It's actually a lot more than architectural salvage tho. Imagine buying some antiques, a toilet and a custom made live edge dining table. This place is out of this world! I had heard about this and finally got a chance to check it out. One of my favorite places in Jacksonville. If you have an older home that needs some hardware replaced, this place is perfect for you. They have everything you could imagine: windows, doors, window glass, window weights, screws/nuts/bolts, door hardware, furniture, lighting, appliances, tile, and more! This place had a HUGE selection of woods to pick from and I found an amazing piece of aromatic cedar for $15 which suits my purpose exactly. It took. The hodge podge emporium of all things forgotten and old! In addition to aisles and aisles of antique and reusable old items they carry whole slabs of really nice raw wood. Inside the facility they also have a special creative carpenter/dreams area. On this space you can work with one of their creators to dream the reinvention of something old. It's like Jacksonville version of Flea Market Flip, make something cool out of old relics! They have hard to find old door handles and hinges and such, and even some old pianos! No way you'll have time to look at everything in this store, in fact inventory must be a nightmare from a retail standpoint. However, it's a shopper's delight. I found some old tea sets, shudders and an old Egyptian door I thought was beyond cool. Holy crap! There's so much stuff in this building. It's unreal. Not only do they have a huge warehouse filled from top to bottom and front to back full of items from every era and genre, but they also have a huge lot in the back with tons of items for home remodeling and renovation. You can find windows of every shape and size, old doors, bricks and building materials and so much more. When I visited, they even had a chicken coop that I was so tempted to buy (it was priced @ $250), but opted against it. It's just crazy overwhelming if it's your first visit. You can definitely spend a lot of time here and just get lost browsing through the aisles and aisles of random knick knacks. However, it's pretty nicely organized with easy-to-read signage for the many categories of items. There's something for everyone although like other Yelper's have mentioned, they do have eBay-like prices for a lot of their items and some things you can just get at Lowe's or Home Depot brand new for cheaper. And don't mistake this place for a thrift store because it's not. Not sure if you can negotiate prices, but I'm sure it never hurts to ask. Overall, the service was pretty friendly. I was asked probably 4-5 times from different staff members if I needed help or if I had any questions. Pretty impressive considering the short amount of time I was there (about an hour). And although I left without buying anything, I think it's definitely worth the trip to see their massive inventory. If you're an HGTV home renovator or a re-purposing guru or you're just into old stuff, this just might be the place for you. read more

If you are a DIYér or looking to do some remodeling, this is a good spot to check out. They always have a treasure trove of various items to look through. All kinds of hardware, wood, antiques, you just never know what you might find here. They also have a wood shop now where they will make custom pieces for you. The items they have on display of their work are beautiful. My only complaint is prices seem to continually keep going up every time we visit. Even items that have been there for months don't get reduced and some items seem quite over-priced. They will negotiate on some items. It's always a fun place to go and walk around. Finally had a moment to stop by Eco Relics, and super glad I did. First tip first: There is more parking around the back, if there aren't any spaces available on the side of the building. But be careful when you pull out, it's a little hard to see incoming traffic. This place is a GINORMOUS, open and dusty warehouse. I thought I saw all there was to see, and then it just kept on going. (And going, and going.) I wasn't on the hunt for anything in particular this visit, but they have just about everything you can think of under the sun. Need a new light fixture, tools, tool parts, wood, wire, album, light switch, dresser, tub, sink, hell I even saw a Volkswagon car door. You get the idea. Really, it's just about everything. It's kinda like a big garage sale, so if you take your time, it will pay off. Now, I'm serious about "freakin' antiquing," but I can certainly appreciate a well designed piece as an accent to a room. And there are plenty of those here. But what blew my mind, are the pieces Eco Relic creates with these treasures for re-sell. AMAZING tables, art, and other furniture. I definitely saw a few I'm keeping in mind for when we move to a bigger space. Do you have that person on your gift list that has everything? Then you need to come here! They were also arranging the albums a bit better, so they were easier to flip thru, if you are a vinyl lover. I saw a ton of Christmas and Engelbert Humperdinck albums... but I know there must be a few crazy finds in those crates somewhere, and I'll be back to peruse again. But the best part? The very best part was the service. I had about 4 different people check on me while I was there, asking if I needed any help. Not overbearing, but sincere. Eco Relics is a business I can stand by! I found Eco Relics on Facebook and later met some of the staff at their One Spark tent. They have an enormous warehouse (50,000 square feet) filled to the brim with both vintage and new products. They carry hardware, lighting fixtures, building material, and other materials, which they've salvaged so it doesn't end up in our landfills! My husband used to work with contractors and he said it was disgusting how much useful material they would trash. I'm glad to see a business that cares about repurposing & recycling this material. More businesses should aim to be a little more "green" are care for our environment. Eco Relics is one of those places you just need to visit! So, here is a fun fact... I live in St Augustine and have followed this place through Facebook because I love their stuff and the concept of the place. I finally get a chance to drive all the way to Jax's to see what they have... as I entered, a voice (and that's all it was) yelled out from beyond (where, I don't know) said that we "had to sign in".... I said "OK, where.. this voice said "in the computer". I looked at the computer and the page is asking for my name, address, phone number and my e-mail.... So, me being me, I asked "why"? The "voice" said that it was because the Fire Marshal required this information.... really? I wasn't born yesterday and it was a Tuesday afternoon at 2pm... and there were maybe 2 cars in the parking lot... I asked, well, what if I don't want to give you all of my information... the "voice" said... have a nice day... So sad, you would at least expect someone to greet the customer and if they had questions...answer them. Now, if someone would actually come and greet me and say that, "yes, we collect your information so we can bug the shit out of you in the future"... I would have laughed and gave them my information, but don't lie to me and say that you need it for the Fire Marshal.. So sad.... read more
