They said that they will receive some in the morning but if you are not here when they open they are gone pretty quickly. People are just being ridiculous. To give other customers that cannot be there at opening time the chance to possibly pick up the items that people are hoarding. Otherwise I did find everything that I needed. This Albuquerque location was surprisingly legit when I first visited on 6/14/2023. It had the layout that I liked so finding everything was a breeze. The store was kempt. The staff members were friendly and not stressed out. On the liquor shelf, I found some locally-made whiskeys. I ended up purchasing some Ponderosa Sidewinder out of Taos. My significant other as well as my family agreed with me that it was pretty good. That's why I love Costco - their products are predominantly tried and true. They were out of Kirland toliet paper which I personally like better because the alternative, Charmin, is too thick for my in-potty-training nieces & even my own elementary-aged kids to use. Tell them not to use much, they do the opposite. Damn kids. Lol. The cart receptacles were aplenty here with a very large parking lot. The gas station is nearby and seemed to have good flow of traffic. A definite fan. read more

This place has always been a hassle to deliver to. First time I went here some large hispanic guy asked me to leave. I showed him the paper work. He still asked me to leave. I said I was delivering the load here. He asked how I knew that and I showed him the address on the paper work. Moron laughed and demanded I leave. So I did. Second time same things happened. Only this time they gave me a dock. The guy then said once the light is green and I get the paperwork back I can leave. That happened and some frumpy lady came out and looked at me and shook her head. Third time I remember delivering to this place. The manager and the guy who did the forklift were rude. He said they had a tipped-over pallet and didn't say anything and just stared at me. Eventually I got tired of it and I asked him okay what do you want me to do with it? Do you want me to restack it? He was very loud, rude, and screamed "Yes!" I work for a no touch freight company. This means I do NOT restack loads, or do anything with the freight. It is against the companies insurance policy. I told them this and they scoffed at it. They asked to see my DOT medical certificate, which they literally aren't allowed to see, and said since my trailer was on their property that I wasn't allowed to leave, but I couldn't spend the night either. 1) drivers always spend the night in big lots like Costco and 2) what y'all are talking about would be considered kidnapping under DOT regulations. So y'all could wind up in jail over it. I restacked it anyways noticing they were short-handed, and hoped they would stop complaining. They said either I was going to help out or they were going to call the cops on me. Do this and I'll sue you all penniless for harassment. If they kept it up I would have called the cops on them. As I was restacking the load the manager came in and told me to hurry up because they had other freight coming in. You are a mass quantity product distribution company. No s##t you have other loads coming in. I wasn't sitting round. My mother texted me and I replied to her really quick, and my back was giving me trouble. You can shut up. Besides you're old ugly self could have helped out. Oh wait....ya didn't. Which proved you weren't that concerned about the next load and just wanted to be a b!tch. There's no reason at all for these people to a have an attitude with me. You don't have the right to treat me like you did when I haven't done anything to you. They also let people who don't work there roam around the loading dock area. So basically, they made up a bunch of fake rules and regulations to avoid doing their job. They also used cell phone jammers. And no, I don't get paid for offloading or helping. I got paid for the miles driven. Next time I come here, I don't care if all the stuff is tipped over and on fire. You can deal with it yourself. F you people. read more

I made an appointment for a tire rotation and arrived 3 minutes before the appointment time. There was a line with 5 ahead of me and only 1 person waiting on people. I called the tire service bay to say I only needed to drop off my car but that there was a long line with people dealing with batteries and buying tires. The fellow said I did need to wait in line but he would send up another salesperson and that since I had checked in they would still take me. I ended up waiting another 20 minutes to get checked in. I want to start with the good Andre's and Mia were very helpful and good with what they did. But dang my card kept reading invalid and I went up 7 separate times trying to get it fixed. Richard said he expedited my request to get it fixed and he would call me back never did. I still needed to get gas and he said he would radio over to the worker but he never did when I got over there I asked and she said she didn't hear anything but still helped me. So I been debating about getting a membership since I been with Sam's club for years. After speaking with some of my colleagues at work that have the membership I decided to give it a try. Costco is much bigger inside than I realized. They have so much selection and not just in bulk. Prices are reasonable and I felt like I definitely made the right decided in going with Costco. We spent 2.5 hours browsing the store and we still needed to see other areas. This just gives you an insight on how big and how much selection of items they have. Costco's new muffins are horrible. I know they try to tell you they are healthier but they taste awful. We didn't buy the muffins because how healthy they were. They were good, tasty and reasonable priced. I would have been willing to pay more for them rather than replacing them with these nasty new muffins. I hear their own employees don't even like them since MGT put them in their bedrooms and no one eats them. Bring back the old muffins and raise the price. read more

A newer, smaller, Costco opened nearer to where we live, that we go to now, but there are times when we absolutely need to go to this Costco. Recently we needed to go here to buy dog food. Now, I know that sounds very provincial. "What, Rod, you went to Costco to buy dog food? And that's what you're writing about in your review?" Yes, but you need to know the backstory, to understand why this is so important. We have an older, mixed breed black lab, named Annie. Annie moves slower than she used to, but she's still got the heart of a young pup. And Annie is very dearly loved by our daughters. As I write this, we're 5 weeks into the quarantine brought about by the Coronavirus. Getting out and just doing things that a family would normally do, isn't possible at this time. I'm sure everyone whose going through this understands the unusual amount of stress this brings upon everyone. Annie is helping to provide that unconditional love that a dog can do. Annie is helping us, and especially our daughters, get through this very trying time. Annie is a big dog. Over the years we've learned what she likes. Annie really likes the Kirkland brand of dog food for mature, large breeds. It comes in a blue bag. Annie totally loves that dog food! Her tail wags so much when we bring it home. So, Costco on Renaissance, indirectly you're helping us get through this Coronavirus crisis, by providing your dog food for mature, large breed dogs, so Annie can continue loving us as she does. i had a dishwasher delivered on Saturday...two hours late from 4 hour delivery window. They were not able to install on Saturday as they needed a longer water line. The installers scheduled it again for Wednesday. Once again, they showed up two hours late and without the longer water line. They promised to come the next day, but once again a no show. Costco tried calling the installer...but no answer. Absolutely horrible installers contracted by Costco. I ended up paying my own installer $250 to get it done. Beyond ridiculous! read more

I have used Costco gas in many places across the country and at this particular place It was clean and well attended with staff a available to help you in no matter what type of situation you may need. Costco in general has very good covid-19 practices in all their staff were masked as well. The quality of the gas is excellent especially for the price point that they ask for and if you need to use premium gas it's a really good value. I recommend using Costco not only for the quality of their goods and their gas but how they treat their staff and give them a livable wage with healthcare and benefits I always want to support a large retail Box store that does that type of thing read more

I really enjoy shipping at Costco but I have been treated rudely at this location by staff off and on for years. The food court staff is especially rude and routinely ignores us if we have to order at the register, they seem agitated and annoyed by the fact that someone isn't using their ordering stations. I am a known personality and have felt harassed several times while shopping at this location, I was actually followed by a random woman during my last visit. I was helped by staff when I shared my concern but the woman proceeded to continue to stalk me until I was done eating and left the store. I hope the morale improves and I am able to continue to shop comfortably there in the future. read more

My wife and I received hearing test from the hearing center at Costco on Albuquerque's west side. As my wife predicted I had to purchase hearing aids. Adam, the technician, who administered my test and set me up with hearing aids was very professional and made the experience very enjoyable. The salmon prices are good. The flowers are beautiful and parking wasn't that much of a nightmare. All in all, it could have been a lot worse for a Sunday morning. I did have a question for the snack bar up front and it took forever to get the guy's attention and then he snapped at me like he had never ever heard of someone asking about to-go packets of mayo to take their food with them before. Whenever I go on the weekend or close to a holiday, I take that into account and allow for crowds. I chose to go at that time - I am responsible for that choice. Fully. I came in to get my new membership card. The woman who had bo customers waiting but, seemed to be in a good conversation with another employee, left me waiting for more then ten minutes. I was so upset. She finally ended her conversation with( kevin) and acted like I was a bother to her. Never explained membership or anything, just stand there. Then I went to food court, ordered a slice of pizza and a drink. The guy was moving so fast that he didn't look at what he was handing over. A slice of pizza missing half of the cheese on it. I got to the self check out register, this young woman runs over and start grabbing stuff in my cart. Not any explanation of if I wanted her to do that or what she was doing. This was the very first experience at Costco, I was not at all impressed with any of it. I tried calling the store location when I got home, they don't take calls. I received a call from nick( after contacting the online Costco) he said that he would make corrections. I will give them one more chance and if it also goes bad, I will be done with Costco. I also have a Sam's plus membership, seems like they understand customers and how to keep them happy. Sam's club answers phones, they pay attention when a customer is waiting, I have never gotten half a pizza and there employees don't grab things from my cart without asking me if thats ok. Costco has got to do better then this. My husband signed us up for Costco and Sam's on the same day. So far, Sam's is five stars! Costco is barely half star. I will give them the benefit of the doubt. But, rarely do I see I change in a company that has so many issues In just one visit. We will see. read more

This Costco rocks. During COVID with limits on how many people can enter the store at a time, this Costco is providing shopper service for customers with 10 or less items. You give them your shopping list, go fill up with cheap Costco gas, and then pick up your order. Costco is doing this as a service to its members. Remember, most of what you buy at Costco is impulse. This service is taking sales away. And it's also keeping staff employed. WELL DONE. Now if I have a Managers attention with this review: Please bring in larger coffee grinders. If you sell 3# bags of coffee, I should be able to grind it easily. Step up your produce game. Beautiful produce, but it dies so quickly. And finally, "Olive Garden" and "Ranch" salad dressings? We love Costco, so it was our first choice for looking at a freezer to buy. We got to the store at around 5:25 pm. and started looking around. It was just myself, my husband, and our 2 kids. Suddenly, this guy who works there is standing there glaring at us. We walked to the end of the aisle, and there's a woman blocking it. She asked nicely if she could get us anything because they were closing and we couldn't go any further. As I asked what time they close (which was 6:00 pm), a different guy comes flying up, throws us a dirty look, and says, "Can I get you anything?" He acted like we were going to harm the girl who was telling us we couldn't go further. We had no idea they were closing. They could've announced that they were closing or come up to us and said, "Im sorry, but we're closing." Needless to say, we will not be buying our freezer from there.
