I called customer service to find out if the reason why my online curbside order was still processing after 4 hours was because it was no longer available. They ignored my call and when they picked up the phone, they hung it up right away. There was a time when they picked up and continued to talk while I was on the other line. All I had was a simple question and was willing to order it from somewhere else. I ended up canceling the order and purchasing it from Walmart. This was easy to find with free parking and an easy access to the store. They had a good selection of simple things we needed at good prices: sunscreen, ponytail holders. They also had a huge selection of Lego kits, at good prices (good prices for Legos). My daughter found a lego set she could do in the hotel room while we were there last week. Selection is minimal at this target location and crime is higher than other locations. There is always something broken either the restrooms or the escalator or something else going on. The store is fairly cleaned and most of the times empty bottles and empty boxes are throughout the store. It's convenient the indoor garage for those days that it rains. Makeup is hardly every stocked. They had plenty of Halloween items today. Customer service at the front lanes is exceptional and they always the most polite people. Only if the rest of the team working on the floor was friendly as the front end team. The value of the items holds as any other target items. Overall if it's convenient then go to Thai target otherwise you better off going to other locations. Sales are limited at this location but use the Target circle app and you will be able to get more deals in store for your buck! I ordered several items online, which were delivered to a 62+ community. By the time I arrived home from work, the packages were missing. Target refused to replace or refund my order. Total amount spent was $200. They believe that if the order was delivered, it is considered successful. Never mind if the customer never received it. Amazon, TJ Maxx, Walmart and Macy's will refund and replace. Not target. Buyer beware. read more

My visit to this big box store was to look for a few ideas for Christmas. This particular visit was the weekend before the shelter in place lockdown, so people were rushing the store similar to what happened to the shelter in place last spring. As soon as I walked in a staff member said that there wasn't any carts and that someone was bringing some up. It seems to me this was the same as the last visit I made to this location. I decided I didn't need a cart, so went on about my way. The store was clean, decently stocked, and almost every associate I passed smiled (a smile seen through the mask). Once you've been to a Target, you've basically been to them all. They have pretty much the same departments - clothes, food, home, electronics, books, toys, and so on. Recently CVS bought out the pharmacy department in the Targets and I hope that has improved the kinks they previously had in their service there. What I like most about Target (other than the fact that the in-house Starbucks allows for shopping combined with my caffeine addiction), is the fact that they will price match anyone. I've literally showed them on my phone that Walmart has a better price for a DVD before and had them match the price right then and there! It's awesome! They have some pretty good food options in the meat department too. It's worth a look! I love how great the customer service is! read more

I used to enjoy shopping at this target, until recently. This store has become a huge disaster. To start, it's a total mess. I was shocked at the shoe department in particular on my last visit. There's trash scattered in the parking garage as well as throughout the store. The lines are long, and the snack area is almost always closed. This location has great clothing selection but always has stocking issues in the grocery area. The beautiful seating area overlooking Uptown is now a staging area for online orders, and cell phone vendors are allowed to harass customers throughout aisles in the back of the store. I like this Target for their larger section of safe natural products. They have more natural makeup, skincare, shampoos soaps etc. then some of the other Targets in town. I've always had great customer service ever time I've been. I haven't had to return anything though so can't speak to how they do with returns. The dollar spot here is small there then Lomas or Montgomery's Targets. So they don't always have a great of selection so I tend to go to different Targets to see what they have! Overall love Target over Walmart so if I can get what I want at Target that's where I'll be!! And cartwheel is awesome!!! read more

This is a larger sized Target with the usual layout of electronics, housewares and clothing. The big difference here is that this Target sits on top of its parking lot, so you're taking an elevator or escalator to get to the "upstairs" shopping area. The staff are very professional and courteous at the Target Uptown, corner of Louisiana and Indian School Road, NE in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Whether you pronounce it, Target or Tarjay (which sounds fancier), you will find this unique location as affordable as the other stores, it just has a parking garage underneath with ample parking! Are you sugar and melt in the rain (when it actually rains here)? Well, no problem because this one has covered parking and a cool escalator made just for carts if you have more than a handful of merchandise when leaving. 7/23 This was the closest Target to our hotel and we were in need of some lunch foods for the week. The parking is underneath the store which was cool. I grabbed a cart and we walked in to find an escalator! Our son is crazy about escalators and not only did they have one for people but one for CARTS! Who knew a Target could be a tourist attraction? We are Minnesotans so we're used to a Target on every street corner. It was open late which was fantastic. It had pretty much the same layout as the rest of them. Even though it wasn't a Super Target, we found sandwiches and produce that were exactly what we were looking for so we stocked up and headed out. The employees weren't that friendly, but the cashier was nice. We found everything we wanted including a "cart buster" deal on Market Spring water - 24 bottles for $2.49! This target is HUGE. Located perfectly off the freeway in Uptown it is a monster of a Target. As you would expect with that size it has a big section for pretty much everything. It's designed really well and it is a pleasure to shop here. With a Starbucks located inside it makes it even better. The staff are always helpful and courteous when we have had encounters with them. With under/store parking, this is likely the nicest Target in Albuquerque. I do admit that I haven't seen them all, but this is the go to in this town. This store has all of the usual discount department store items you would expect as well as groceries. However, selection can be poor. For example, we found it difficult to find a pair of Levi's in size 34x34. Nevertheless, the attire is clean and checkers are efficient. read more

This store has gone so far down hill. The shelves are ALWAYS empty. The prices have gone up. Its really a terrible store. I have heard the GM say "this is my castle" to another employee. They are always short handed, the employees are over worked. I would go to a different target. Looks can be deceiving. From the outside the store looks like a 2 story building but in reality the bottom floor is actually the parking lot/ entrance with escalators and elevators to take you to the store floor. It's pretty good sized. They have a lot of great merchandise and groceries to choose from. Of course they can be a bit pricier compared to Walmart on certain things but I do have to say their products are much higher quality. I really dislike going to Walmart because of the crowds and the lines at the registers. So I try to avoid going there as much as possible. What I love about Target is yes they can get busy but it's not constantly busy so you can pick a time off peak hours and have room to roam around the store without being surrounded by tons of people. At those times there is hardly long lines and that's what I love. I gladly will pay the slightly higher price to avoid all that. Plus Target has a much cleaner and nicer store compared to Walmart. You hardly see things out of place everything is neatly organized. I only wish they offered more selection for their meats and produce. Great store overall! read more

Today, I ran to target on my lunch break to fill a prescription. Everything went well-until I was leaving. I dropped my keys at the very end of the escalator and they became jammed at the bottom. This actually ended up jamming the entire escalator. I was so embarrassed, and flustered. They entire team - Brian, Jake, Jo, and the wonderful escalator tech were on it immediately. And they stood by me as passerby's notes that someone had dropped their keys over and over. I am a target aficionado, and I can honestly say that this team was amazing. In a moment where I felt embarrassed and silly, they made me feel welcome in the store and put me at ease as people walked by. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you so much Targets heroes. Target is very comforting. They're pretty much all a similar layout. Go in one and you know how to find your way around any Target. The selection was good. Starbucks and Pizza Hut inside to greet you. A small market of snacks, dry goods, dairy, and limited fresh fruits and vegetables. I could have spent more time in Target but was in and out in about 30 minutes. Prices are pretty good, same as they are in Seattle (where I live). Every single time my husband who looks African American goes into the target on Louisiana is stereotyped, harassed and discriminated against by the racist security guards. Upon entering the store he is immediately followe'd by security and worker. on Father's Day he got an item snatched from his hand. it seemed the staff were instigating an argument. One security guard smelled of alcohol. this all occurred approximately 8:00 am 06/18/23. I'm sure there is camera footage. I will never go into target again and will encourage everyone I know to stay away as well. We work hard for what we have and this day in time my husband and any person of color should be able to shop without being harassed and discriminated against. On the way out we decided to grab a fountain soda and the place was absolutely filthy. The guy who worked there was just sitting in back and someone else had to find him to help us. This is a Target. It's not a two-storey Target. It's not a Super-Deluxe-Max-Bigger-Than-Every-Other-Target-You-Have-Ever-Visited. It's just a Target, albeit a new and very clean one. Yes, it is taller than the other Targets in Albuquerque. That's because it has parking under the store. But many people seem to think this is a Target-of-a-Different-Colour. Overheard at the cash register: Cashier: "Did you find everything you were looking for?" Customer: "Well, yes, I suppose so. I just expected there to be different stuff here. A different selection than the other Targets." Cashier: "..." And yes, there is cart escalator. If you are ever bored and want cheap entertainment, just go watch the people who come to watch the cart escalator. I like Targets in general. They are my favourite general retail store. They tend to be clean, brightly lit, and generally employ pleasant and reasonably intelligent people. Plus I think Targets are pretty. (Seriously!) From an urban point of view I like the architecture and colours very much. That's why I added so many photos of this one. (Check them out)! The main attraction of this Target for me is the location; being in Uptown it is close to both home and work. It doesn't have a larger selection than other Targets - it is just a Target after all - but it does have the items I have come to expect, from toiletries to cleaning products to groceries. The under-facilities parking is very nice, especially as parking can be a premium in Uptown. The spaces are generous and there are a lot of them. This Target has a café - your general retail store-with-fast food fair - including a Pizza Hut Express. It's not great, but it is good. And convenient. There is also a Starbucks. Which I find terribly amusing because there is a Starbucks literally across the street. You can order a nice Affogato Vanilla Bean Frappuccino and then sit and stare down at the other Starbucks and wonder what all those people ordered. Overall, this is a nice addition to the retail in Uptown. It adds a lot to the Uptown shopping experience. And like most Targets it is a pleasant shopping experience. read more

I personally love target. Fashion is always up to date & love the home decor. Not as cheap as Walmart but they have better quality & more attractive selections for the home decor & pretty much everything else. I wouldn't shop groceries here unless I had to since the prices aren't the best, but that's not what I come here for anyways. This is my favorite target here in ABQ since it's the biggest that I've been to. Nice location & right next to a great outdoor mall & close to a few great eateries. They're always organized & bathrooms are always clean. I've never had any problems with customer service here. I even lost the receipt to a few items I had to return & they had no problem & gave me a refund in a gift card form. I've had nothing but great experiences here. read more

I was unsure due to the recent negative reviews, but upon visiting the store it seems like the negative reviews are from either ex(or current) employees and sensitive Sally's , because the reviews are so far off from what the store actually is.
