Overall disappointed in the customer service. Website had one price and then it changed in 30 minutes later when I was adding additional items. They promised 500 ounce pricing for everything but gave only 25+ ounce pricing. False advertising and tried to call and tell them but they just hung up. Would give zero stars. I recently ordered 4" x 6" sterling silver sheet and a disc cutter. These came well packaged, but the wooden box for the disc cutter was broken and the silver was very scratched. I contacted them immediately with photos. The response was asking for photos, which I resent. Days went by where I sent 2 more emails asking if they had received the photos. Then I was asked if I had put in a post office insurance claim. The silver was in cardboard, in a box, surrounded by packing peanuts in another post office box. The tool was similar, so no, this was not the post office's fault. After that there has been no response for days. I definitely don't recommend this company. read more

I love this place. It was actually recommended to me by another smaller bead shop. I had a thrifted bracelet that needed some replacement stones and the staff who is amazing really helped. If you need replacement cabachons this is a perfect spot. If you have ever tried to replace a stone with a jeweler you know it not only difficult but pricey. I had a native bracelet with a missing stone and to have jeweler replace was $90. Before I had been to thunderbird! And the people are just super. There is a good selection here in a large no-frills warehouse type building. Prices seem good. It is not the friendliest place; it is a bit arrogant. We have done a lot of beading, but when we asked for certain types of beads, we were told with seeming irritation that we were using the wrong name (we tried several different names and then when I saw them and pointed them out they corrected us even though our familiar name was written right on the package). 2 or 3 of the workers we encountered seemed to similarly assume we were ignorant and then chose to chastise us for it rather than provide helpful service. Luckily, we are experienced enough that this was annoying rather than intimidating. I would not want to come here as a beginner. This is the first beading shop we've found in Albuquerque with such a good range of beads. We will check some others out and may end up coming g back here if we can't find what we need elsewhere. But I don't like working with beads that remind me of the unpleasant time I had purchasing them, so all in all, I hope we find a happier place to frequent. read more

I have spent hundreds of dollars with this company and recently received silver that was defective (way off with the size) When I asked them to replace the pieces they refused and wanted to charge for them. They don't guarantee the cuts so if I order one size and receive a different size I'm out of luck. I paid for more than what i received. I would be out of business if I did this to my customers. read more

I placed an online order in February but there was a glitch and they were unable to charge my card. I went to pick it up and the items were on sale which saved me a little money. I placed another order and soon found out they had charged my card for the first order again. The amount was different than the invoice and the employee did not enter my customer account number. I called Gallup to tell them of the error and the woman was absolutely horrible. Any time I tried to explain the error she would interrupt me and she would tell ME to stop being rude. I couldn't understand why she was being rude. I soon realized that she was the one that had made the mistake with my original order!! read more

**USED the check-in offer here for 10$ off a 50$ purchase... though the people working there had NO CLUE that one existed or what to do with it...** This is a pretty good jewelry supply store. VERY cheap but the selection isnt that diverse in terms of charms/findings, etc.. but beads/wire/string/clasps etc is pretty good. Everyone working there was very nice to me and helpful being that im a beginner in the jewelry making world. Love it! They have everything for silversmithing and metalsmith. I've been into wire wrapping lately and they have a convenient wall of copper/bronze already wrapped up, just pull and go! I was sad most their jump rings and sterling silver bits I needed were sold out even after providing 5-6 alternative SKUs so unfortunately was not a 1 stop shop. read more

Just tried to place an order online- for sterling items- I get done, and it tells me that: We need to attach an extra $30.00 for overages on orders for sterling, stones, shipping- Huh? Did call, very nice young man answers, tells me it was also stated one other pages. (ok but I didn't see it) Also says I should get the $30.00 back but can't say for sure, something about the sterling weight. Well if you can't tell me the actual price per piece on the website (it sure looks like its a set price!) then I'm not ordering!! I didn't understand this at all. Sigh. Worst service I have received anywhere. The person waiting on me kept disappearing or talking to her friends. Some products shown were unavailable, or needed to be retrieved from the warehouse. I really enjoyed this store. I was searching for jewelry supply stores in albuquerque because I was going to be there for the day, I usually just order my supply online. At first it didn't seem to be that great walking in but I was surprised to find most items I was looking for. They only thing they didn't carry which I use a lot were Swarovski Crystal beads. This place is kind of hidden behind another building at the end of Vassar Dr. It was a little hard to find. Just look for the Holiday Inn right next to it. Big giant jewelry supply store. Most things are behind glass and need someone taken them out for you. I was mainly their to buy seed beads. Very cheap beads that were tubes. The price was excellent. Mostly all tubes cost $1.47. What a deal! My only pet peeve about customer service is no one paying attention if your customer is in need of help. There was a women and her grandson looking at some coral pieces in the display cases and no one would help her. Mind you its a big place, but very open. You can look from wall to wall. She patiently waited until a group of young women stopped talking about their weekend plans. Other than that the place is filled with displays for jewelry and jewelry findings and beads of all kinds. First time I bought anything there. First, had a difficult time getting any of the sales staff to help me - no one wanted to look shoppers in the face. Then when I did get attention, the salesgirl was arrogant and left me feeling stupid for asking for sizing advice on something. Finally, it takes three people to checkout a simple order. We registered our company to be exempt, well the cashier gave my husband a hard time because he was not Native American Indian. He told them I'm registered and I am a Navajo. I was out in the vehicle because of my knee surgery. It was a lady with long hair with tattoos. My husband found the young man that always helped us, he got assisted from him because the lady would not help him, and did not know where anything was in the store.. That was our pet peeve for the day. We would go back, but maybe shop online more now.. we traveled over 30 miles (one way) to pick up some things there. It's upsetting to be treated that way.
