Topgolf Giftcards

Stopped here with the family after church when we were in Vancouver. My brother-in-law ordered 3 pizzas for us to take home. We wandered around for a little bit because I wanted to see what unique things they sell in Washington. I saw that they have Crumbl giftcards which are $79.99 for a $100 value. They also have Topgolf giftcards for the same deal. I noticed they had a lot more Asian snacks and food here than Northern California. They had a couple of different Boba drink options which I haven't seen in the Bay Area.

This is where we go to get the cheapest water in town. I usually stock up with three cases that last us for a couple of weeks or so. Never really unreasonably busy. They also have the self-checkout lines that moves things pretty quickly.

I only come here for the pharmacy, because I just don't understand Costco. People claim that there are amazing savings, but I don't see how it offsets the annual membership fee. Buying in bulk makes sense if you are preparing for the apocalypse like my parents are, but I think we're probably all going to be just fine. Even the TVs and other electronics I have found at better prices at Best Buy or other specialty electronics retailers. I just don't see the reason to shop here. I'd love for somebody to prove me wrong, but I just don't see how the math checks out. And there's something to be said about Costco culture and the cultists that worship it like a deity. I think the movie Idiocracy had it right: someday we're all going to be attending school there, and taking light rail transit to get from one side of the store to the other.

Very disappointed with Costco and employee. Spent over $300 but couldn't get the stick of butter because we thought the sign above the product said $8.39. Employee said it's ringing up at $11.99 and if we don't want to purchase it if could put it back because it's a cold product. Tried to explain to her the sign above says $8 something. (I don't think she believed me) employee still was arguing saying are you sure it's the sign above or on the side? I felt belittled. Went back to put the butter away and took the picture. Only then I read it carefully it says Kerry not Kirkland. Showed her and I said the is above the product but it's for a different product. She tells me I should of read it carefully. All this over $2.00. I admit I am still wrong I should read it more carefully.

These are the fillets after I trim them of silver skin. They were tasty.

Really appreciate the ready to cook meals. We had the stuffed peppers tonight. I recommend trying them. Well seasoned and a nice change

I love Costco. I HATE this one. The employees are so rude. I really don't understand why.

Love this Costco. It's always less crowded, has shorter lines, and has available parking.

Terrible attitude from the lady in the photo department. Poor. Not someone I would expect to have a job with a company like Costco.

Ask the Community - Costco

Do they carry more/better stuff than the Vancouver Costco?

This Costco is a smaller one - there are some things you won't find at this location, like the fiesta pack of glass bottle Coke, Fanta, and Sprite. However, this location is much less busy than the Padden Parkway or any of the locations in Portland.

And you could also get a cash card so you could also use that at the gas pumps which I really like.

I was pleasantly surprised there wasn't that horrible off-gassing smell at similar type places. However, they did have some kind of odd blinky holiday lights that made annoying noises throughout my visit. I toured each aisle and there wasn't anything to my liking but I can see where a new Asian restaurant could completing outfit their establishment with everything they need. It was nice to see they had real plants! I would consider returning for those or maybe some of their pots. Prices were okay, not great. According to many handmade signs, they take shoplifting seriously!

I wanted to see if there is a Kmart near the area so I did a Yelp search for Kmart, this Portland Closeout store popped up. After glancing at Yelp photos, the 20 % off Yelp check in caught my eye, and the funny t-shirts, the ones on their profile pic. I asked my personal Uber driver ( my other half) to take me. You will not miss this place, there is a huge business sign and parking is available on both sides of the lot. I don't know where to begin looking, the store is clutter but it is a good clutter. There are tons and tons of stuff. Its like a one stop shop, Things you need in Chinatown and the flea market combined together. I am pretty sure you will find something you don't need but actually need here. Just like my experience here. I had fun looking around, Lets see this shop is HUGE! There are sandals, shoes, clothing for mens, womens, children, tshirts, hats, make up, hair accessories, phone accessories, even blankets. If you can't find what you are looking for, ask the owner, she is super friendly. I recall her name is Long. I had fun talking to her and she helped me find what I was looking for. As I mentioned I found 2 items that I didn't need but needed. I saw 2 hats , I didn't think I needed it but bought it for my mom and good friend. ( they both love hats!) I came to shop not looking for hats and not needing it but then I am so glad I bought them because my mom and good friend loved the hats. I also bought those funny saying shirts to give away as souvenirs. They are pretty funny! I was able to use my 20 percent Yelp check in and I am so happy to discover a new place in Portland. I noticed the blankets are cheap, they are the really soft blankets which comes in different color, prints, and even comes with a bag. I remember those blankets, during my childhood days my mom used to buy that blanket for us and I remember they cost more than what Portland Closeout sells them for. I am going to buy a blanket next time I visit. After paying for my items, Long mentioned that her husband is at the store across. Note: Portland Closeout is in 2 separate shop. The store is in front where Long's husband manage has all household items for your kitchen, home and garden which includes furniture, plants, even paintings. This store does look clutter as well, but its a good clutter!! I noticed children's bicycles out in front. This store has EVERYTHING!! Overall, I love how I discovered this place and I enjoyed my shopping experience here. I will be back. If you just moved to Portland, Please check out Portland Closeout, I guarantee you will find products for your new place and you can thank me later!! #101/100/2017

The money was in an envelope, and my husband accidentally dropped it, and we hadn't realized it until we got back to the car. We were both pretty upset, so we went to customer service, and low and be hold one of the employees had found it and turned it in. They said they tried to call us to let us know they had found it, but we didn't get the call, because they number was our old landline, and we recently had it disconnected. So I asked how they knew the findings belonged to us, and they proceeded to tell us they watched a video and saw my husband drop it, and when he scanned his Costco card, they knew who the envelope belonged to. So, we want to thank the 4 customer service people who truly made our day. They wouldn't even lets us tip them, and they really deserved it.

Their signature drink is the Zanzibar spiced coffee, which I featured in my photo. It's infused with a blend of warm spices that makes it truly unique.
