This Goodyear deserves more love and I am here to share that!…read more A while ago, I was shopping around this area to find a "decent" car battery replacement service center. By "decent" I meant, someone who will provide fair prices (yes, I did my research and I know how much a car battery including labor cost) and good customer service (friendly, efficient, patient and knows what they are doing). After many service center phone calls of outrageous prices and poor customer services, luck was on my side and brought me to this place. Nick assisted me throughout this process and provided me a fair quote. He and his team were quick to replace the battery during a busy holiday week (less than 1 hour) and provided a call when they were finished. I would recommend anyone who is around this area to give this a service center a try first. My sister and I aligned that this will be our go-to mechanic if any issue are to arise during her time in college. After historical unlucky streaks with different service centers, I finally found a great mechanic we can trust. If you are reading this Nick, wanted to say thank you again! I hope this well deserving business continues to prosper!

I've gone there to have my yearly inspection done, I went there when I got a flat tire, I've gone there to have my oil changed and every time I go it's quick efficient and I'm not spending thousands of dollars on repairs. I don't need. I do not feel any pressure to get any thing fixed with my car that probably doesn't need it. I go at least twice a year for a regular maintenance and when I get my inspection it's quick and I pay for the inspection and go. I just recently had my inspection and my brakes done and I was on my way in less than an hour and a half. I'm always expecting to spend two or three hours because that has been my experience in the past. But now, the last year that I've been going to Pep Boys, I haven't spent more than a couple hours. The longest time I've spent there was because my car was towed in last minute for the flat tire, which is to be expected because people with appointments are taken care of first. I had no problem waiting because I didn't want to cut in line. The Pep Boys in Lake Grove is great and I will continue to go there Oh, and I also should mention that I got a flat tire years ago in a different town and that Pep Boys was just as wonderful. When I thought I was gonna have to get a new tire, they just fixed my tire and I spent 15 bucks. Pep Boys is great and I will continue to bring my car there.
