Wow this Costco is busy! I never had to line up to get out of the store on a weekday during work hours. Perhaps because it's Remembrance day. I was there to buy one item and I didn't anticipate it to take that long and to be that difficult to locate the item or time consuming to find someone to help locate this item. There's a gas station at this location and I went to get gas first and then looped back in the parking and I went to a dead end pocket where once you go in and if there's no parking, you have u-turn back out. I few others accidentally went into a dead end with me too. Let's just say not one of my fav Costcos. read more

I am done coming to this location. Chinese female door greeter was obnoxious. Parking lot is a disaster. Inconsistent rules. Staff in the past let us come in first with the member's pass as they were parking and the member would come in with the app or credit card. It can take up to 30 minutes to find a spot! This time, they said no and told us to wait at the side. We just decided to leave. The parking situation is the store's problem, not the customer's, and having us waste that much time waiting is unreasonable. The food court line-up is also highly disorganized. It's quite a big Costco warehouse. I find here that they have more varieties as compared to the others in the area. This location always has great footfall and long lines for fuel but entering still runs smoothly. We go to this location to get our weekly dairy products - absolutely love their Greek yogurt. Everything is generally well stocked and the weekend visits stays include ton of food samples. The staff here is very efficient, the billing lines are run smoothly and quick for both self service and billing counters. They run of icrecream sometimes but all other food items are the food kiosk are always available at short waiting periods. I do find a lot of great clearance items here from time to time, so I visit frequently. Costco membership is one of best purchases for me. It's right value for money. read more

The aisles are a but messy and there's not a lot of variety in terms of new products and stuff that they bring in. Staff and customer service has improved over the last few months though and I find the checkout line running quite fast even on the busiest of days which is a plus! read more

Located at warden and ellesmere. This location has an attached gas station that generates very long lineups and very rude and aggressive drivers. Their oarking lot large but park in the perimeters to avoid the chaos. The staff here are extremely rude compared to other Costcos in the sounding area. Their customer service levels are non existent. Really cannot recommend this location for your shopping visit. The variety is ok but always in a mess that you need to dig through to find an unabashed lundamaged product. The ROI for the frustrations and lack of respect from staff is definitely not worth the visit: the business centre down the road has better values and selection with much better customer experience read more

I'm coming from America, so the first thing I had to do was compare the Canadian Costco hotdog to the one I normally have. This place has self serve kiosks and a counter to pick up orders, which is way faster than the American Costcos. The service is very efficient and my wait time was less than 2 minutes. I got the all beef hotdog with drink for $1.50 CAD. It tastes the same and is the same size. Now, this is just a regular hotdog. I'm giving this place a 5 star because it's even cheaper than the $1.50 USD. When I have to pay less, it makes me happy. Side note, I see that Canadian Costcos have chicken strips and fries. This has got to be my least favourite Costco - and the one to avoid if you CAN make it to another location. As mentioned by other reviewers, it's the driving situation. The lights leading up to the small street to turn into the Costco is always jammed - because of all the people going to Costco. And adding the design of the entrance ways and parking - you'll get bottlenecked and stuck staring at Costco in your car while you crawl towards it at the speed of a tortoise. We've gone on weekends and weekdays and experienced the same. It's such a nightmare of a drive. The costco itself is always so crowded. I don't know if it's the manners of the shoppers at this location, but I find this location to be quite a bit more messy. There's staff that seem to just solely be there to put things away that other people randomly left in the wrong sections. Otherwise, the rest of the experience is fairly similar to any other costco. They're usually well stocked, cashier lines keep moving along at a good pace, and the food cafe area is bustling. read more

I only get certain things from Costco. The rotisserie chicken is cheaper than all other grocery stores. Occasionally I would buy the big bag of chips, cost of food just keeps on going up, any bit helps. The food court has multiple items that's cost friendly as well. Like the hot dog and pop deal for $1.50. If you are really hungry then you get 2 hotdogs and it's still cheap. There are usually a lot of people if you go on the weekends, even for the cooked food you have to wait for a while. Good thing about Costco is that you can pretty much return things without too many questions. If you need to buy bulk this is the place for you and things are usually pretty fresh. There are self serve machines too so the checkout line up time is not as bad as before. I like the place have stations that gives free samples, try before you buy is always good. read more

Still not sure why this place only has a 3 star rating. It's your average Costco location. Yes the layout is different. I've found each Costco location has its own way of doing things. Probably because each space is different & each location has a different manager? Now that covid is over the store is back to normal & everything is easily accessible. We keep going back to this store because this is the one my parents are used to & we are able to find everything. Every once in a while they will move stuff around but not a lot. We're still able to find things. Anyway one time I burned my hand getting a rotisserie chicken. I didn't realize the bottom was super hot! I went to one of the employees after cashing out & they told me to sit in the first aid room. So I did & they got me a bag of ice to put on my hand, which was nice. After my hand felt better I dumped the ice in the sink to melt & we were able to leave the store. read more

While this location is incredibly busy, it's the only one with a gas station in Toronto. I tend to stock up on pantry items, including dairy, meats, veggies, and fruits, and now Christmas items for gifts. The drivers can be aggressive and dangerous, so you do need to watch out while walking (or parking) in the parking lot. The hours are posted as opening at 9 a.m., but I like that they open at 8:30 a.m.! read more

We always love our shopping trips to this particular Costco, but yesterdays experience was seriously unpleasant due to an horribly rude woman named Lory at the pharmacy. Everyone else there was wonderful, I attempted to politely ask her a question & she was immediately extremely rude & combative for no reason. I used to have a Costco card and come here mostly for the gas but the lineup used to turn me off, it took so long just to get to the front of the line. I just renewed my membership today because they renovated their gas and I've noticed that the lines have been much shorter, and have moved much quicker. I was only in line for about 10 to 15 minutes before getting to the pump which was much shorter than the 30 to 40 minutes I used to spend. While I was here I also picked up the Costco crispy chicken sandwich which was OK, the meat was pretty dry but the sauce and bun were good. read more

This is a busy Costco but aren't they all? This Costco has a gas station which is complete with huge line! As with all the other Costcos, the hoses for the pumps are very long so it doesn't matter what line you get in, the lines will be able to reach whatever side your gas cap is on. You can also fill up your propane tanks in this area. You have to purchase and pay for your propane ahead of time inside the main Costco store - there is a kiosk by the returns section. They will give you a ticket that you bring out to the propane filling area where they will fill your tank for you. Inside the Costco, they do have a pharmacy at this location. Note that you don't need to have a membership if you're just using the pharmacy. Much of it is set up the same as other ones with a fridge room with produce, bathrooms located behind the cashiers, and the restaurant towards the exit of the restaurant. I went right after the new lockdown was announced which probably meant extra crowds. The lines for the cash register stretched all the way to the back of the store! They were constantly moving which was very impressive. I don't think we waited more than 15 minutes to check out which isn't awful. They also have a self-checkout here. You can't use paper coupons here however since they need a cashier to input it. We came on a holiday Monday to this location. By the time it was 6pm, there were lots of parking spaces available. If you're trying to avoid crowds, I'd recommend going as late as you can! read more

Two things were disappointing at this Costco - way too many people shopping inside (whereas at another location they were limiting the number of people in at a time) and I saw a staff (probably on her break) that had her mask pulled down to her chin and walking around talking to other staff. No one bothered to tell her to wear her mask correctly. Otherwise, with the addition of the gas station on site this is a good location. Gas today was $0.879/L versus $0.999/L at other stations. read more

My go to place to all household and pantry stocking. Usually, you can find high quality items for good prices. The fast food offered at the front are usually good prices even if the menu items are limited. This Costco location is very busy regardless of the day or time so expect to spend time getting into the parking lot, finding parking, and getting out at the end. read more

I'm the biggest fan of costco in America. It's practically a family weekend activity every time I return to my parent's. When fiance took me to costco in Canada, I was jumping in joy. We had lunch at the food court. Even though they are missing the amazing chicken bake and the combo pizza slice, I was delighted to see poutine on the menu! We should have just gotten 1 to share among the 4 of us. The portion was HUGE. The fries stayed crunchy and the gravy wasn't too heavy. Fiance also got the hotdog with drink. Just recently, there's this Crispy Chicken Sandwich that came out in the eatery and HOLY does this dish taste good!! I personally think that it's better than any other fast food sandwich in the world and the price is just right under $5.00. I love how they make the buns fresh on a daily for every customer with melted cheese and juicy real chicken breast to top it off. Therefore, I think it'll be an amazing choice if you guys were to pop in and order this quick sandwich. Had the worst treatment from a receptionist at this Costco location in the hearing clinic. The receptionist Shevon, was rude, arrogant, short tempered and simply insolent, after I inquired about an appointment with a hearing technician in regards to my hearing aid bought at Costco. She angrily told me I have to wait until December for an appointment. when I inquired about a cancellation list, she was not helpful and said she had a three pages waiting list. When I showed my surprise about it, she started shouting at me and put me on hold before I even get to ask her to speak to her manager. Food court review - About $7-8 for the poutine and vanilla ice cream! I always love the food court here because it is very convenient and inexpensive. There is usually a line and it can be pretty long lol. But the food is worth it and u can grab something to eat while u're shopping or to go. Portions have decreased a bit over the last few years and prices went up but it's still generally well-priced. The poutine is yummy, sometimes the cheese doesn't melt so make sure u stick it under the fries haha. The ice cream is good to, very creamy and the vanilla flavour is nice and not too empowering or artificial. read more

What can I say it's Costco? Huge warehouse filled with stuff you're never gonna ever need. Well at least you'll probably never need all at once. Sure they sell a 50 pack of shaver refills and a gigantic tub of Nutella that's about the size of an NBA basketball. The main reason I frequent this location is the fact that they have a has bar. Not all locations Donald this is one of the few. For some reason though I think this gas bar location takes longer. The lines can wrap all the way almost to Warden on certain days and times. So if you're going to commit to the line up better make sure your car has enough fuel to reach the pumps. Also be prepared with your membership card and payment card. Many times I see people fumbling for their things and going back into their cars to retrieve their things. Get use to fueling your car from either side as the gas bar has extended hoses in case you end up with your gas tank on the opposite side. My review was mainly about the gas bar since the actual store is pretty much the same at every location. read more

What was I thinking - going into a Costco in Toronto, so close to Xmas?! It was absolutely insane!! The Hubster got in line for gas, and I joined the throngs inside to get food. The reason for the 4-star rating instead of 3 that I'd like to have given it because of the crowds is because of the best prices! This gas was the cheapest gas around at about $1.01, and I got hot dogs and fries for about $6.50 including taxes. And the hot dogs come with a drink, as well! When I'm at Costco, I feel like a lost dwarf walking alongside the three story tall shelves. It's a delightful feeling and I used to see it as an exploration when I was a kid. However, now that I'm older, it's lost a bit of its luster and the real problems arise: - The parking lot is a war zone in which cars mark their designated spots and pit themselves against one another to see who can slide their car into the spot first. I'm surprised that none of the Costco branches have built a second floor of parking. - The electronics section doesn't really have discounts - the products are more or less at market price or higher. - They don't accept Visa for purchases. You're in the green if you have a MasterCard. - The number of tables available at the food court is far too low to keep up with number of diners. Families end up sharing tables with strangers. This can either make for awkward silence or a new friend, but I imagine the former is more common. - Sometimes, you can't find the price for a product you want. That notwithstanding, Costco is still at the core of my shopping routine for these reasons: - You can find products that you may not come across at a general supermarket, such as instant pho and avocado butter. - You can purchase discounted Cineplex tickets here. - If you're careful and have done your research, you will get major discounts on your products. - The food is so cheap and tasty that you could literally go to Costco just to eat. A hot dog and drink combo comes down to less than 2 dollars! - Costco only stocks up on quality items at a relatively lower price (or market price). I love Costco and will continue to go there, but it's really about time that Costco transforms itself into a mall in which you can shop, eat, get a haircut, see a tailor, get your shoes repaired, have 2+ stories of parking and so forth. read more

This location seemed to be busier than the other locations I have been to. I am glad I didn't take a car on this trip as I saw several people just driving around looking for a spot. So weather it is returns, pharmacy pick and drop, billing queue, Gas or food counter, the waits are long. People somehow at this costco keep cutting and pushing. Also this being closest to my place, I end up visiting this costco a lot. The pharmacy will never prepare your prescriptions on the time they provide, the pizzas here are undercooked. This Costco is a mad house! Parking is always a struggle, no matter what time of day! Crowds inside make it difficult to maneuver. The deals are good but I always feel like I need a nap (or a drink) after visiting this location! They really need designated parking for tire customers and more people working at the Tire Centre desk. The price for snow tires was great but the experience was very unpleasant. read more
