Then she gave us a hint that if we didn't find the kind we were looking for near the nut section to try the cereal section. We looked at the bars next to the nut section and they didn't have the exact bars we were looking for. There were bars, but not what we had in mind. Then we went to the cereal section and there they were. Last time we got the Natural Valley in the green box. We're on box number to so it's time to mix is up. This time I got the biscuits filled with almond butter. I had one this morning for breakfast and it totally hit the spot. My next quest was toilet paper. Thankfully it's locate in the same place as the Sacramento store, in the back on the left hand side of the store. They now have a extra soft Costco brand ones. I got the old stand buy in the blue package for the lower price. i find it adequate so why spend more money. Pineapples were only $2 each a total steal. The only downfall is they all appeared over ripe so we passed. Too bad and that may explain the great deal In the clothing section they had World Cup Jerseys for under $10. That is if you wanted the Argentina jersey. They had USA jackets, buy those were only slightly under $30, too much for my taste. I would have gotten Argentina one, but they were out of size small. In the Lego section they had a Messi Lego set. How fun would that be! In the tomato section they had over 5 varieties. My dad loves snacking on tomatoes so he got the snack size the cherry tomatoes. He said they have more flavor than any of the other varieties.

So, after getting gas, we decided to check out the warehouse. As it turned out, this is one of the better Costco locations I've visited. It seemed bigger than our San Francisco location, and I found the shelves and merchandise to be well organized. I quickly found the shirt I wanted in the right size, and while my wife was doing her thing, I walked around and browsed the aisles. Although I wasn't looking for shoes, I came across a pair of Ben Sherman sneakers on sale. The reduced price was so good that I couldn't resist. I tried them on; they fit, and I ended up buying them!

Otherwise 2 stars is my personal experience from multiple visits in the recent months, especially from trying to get there in time for Pokemon random drops throughout the day. I seem to always miss it, with Focused Fighters and with Ascended Heroes ETB + Pokeball 2 pack. I wish they did a raffle system where they give out raffle tickets to everyone interested for 1 hour, and then at the end of the hour they call out the raffle numbers. Essentially an in person version of the Walmart online raffle system would be nice. Their selection of items seem to be not as diverse as Costco's is too. For example peanut butter, they have a hydrogenated version and then one with added oil, no "natural" one for their Members Mark version. No sugar free jam. Their milk section didn't have organic almond milk or lactose free milk just regular milk. Lacking a lot of personalization type of items. I know you could say "just go to Costco then" but that's not my point. My point is, they can do better, and it shows I expect more of them. I mean even Costco's Pokemon ticketing system makes sense and Sam's can't do it for some reason. Pricing though is hard to beat overall, for everything. Thus my personal 2 stars. Don't let this review affect how you shop here, this is just my personal experiences here with at least 5 visits the last month.

If you enjoy coffee, you have to visit Berk's Beans! Whether you want to learn more about coffee…read morebeans, or are already a coffee nerd, this is the place for you. Their default coffee is a pour over (and you get a free one with each bag of beans you purchase). It's in a business park, so there is lots of parking but not a lot of signage from the street. They have a lot of information on different coffees and coffee tasting in the shop and online. Their online roasted coffee catalog online is truly overwhelming - because you can order any and they will roast it fresh for you, within 1-2 days - but the available beans in the shop are more limited and rotate each day. If you order beans online, you can even specify what roast level/temperature you want! If you stop by in person, the staff is happy to chat and answer any questions you have. My one suggestion would be to offer more light roasts (if you look at the catalog, many are light-medium) for the truly funky-fruity aficionados.

And through appointment and hand selection of items the store accepts, it makes for quality picked used merchandise. Finally -- it's nice to see that they have a phone number posted now. This business didn't have one connected to anything for awhile. I believe this happened around the time the new owner, Lupee bought Growing Pains. Once I had an appointment and brought some gently used baby items in I was given the option of store credit or money. The store credit being higher. I don't remember if this was before Lupee bought the store. When the phone number for the business went dark I wasn't sure how to make an appointment for bringing my baby things and kids things in. So I started just dropping them off to create space in my home. I realize this isn't the most ideal situation since the items could go to a non profit so I've stopped this. If you're looking to make a little extra cash or store credit this is an ideal place to take your items.
