Since we were in Parker, CO to run some errands, we went to COSTCO to get certain bulky stuffs. I like it here though something is missing in which I cant put words into it. Anyways, when we were there on Sunday July 12th 2009, with the Parker crowd, all in all it was a good experience shopping here. Did I notice something, I found out the fresh mozzarella cheese and the Olive Oil, I was looking for. Perhaps I did not notice about this specific brands from other Costco I have been to. Horrible!! First, I come in for my appointment and they told me it was scheduled for 11pm. Nope! I am very organized it was set at 3pm. I know when my apts are thanks. And they don't have the tires I wanted but they said would be there. Apparently it's first come first serve, well I have not gotten Costco tires for years, so ya need to tell people everything. Assuming customers know its first come first serve is ridiculous! Guy on phone shouldn't have agreed to give me that tire brand if they wouldn't be there when I came for my apt. This Parker location charges an additional 3% tax on grocery food products. Everything else is the standard 8% tax. Like all locations, avoid this shopping zoo on weekends at all costs. I come here mainly for the Kirkland Nature's Domain grain-free dog food (Salmon, Turkey, Beef) $33 for a 35lb bag and my dog goes monkey crazy for the Kirkland Cuts in Gravy (sold in 24-pack cans). I've heard good things about their tires and car service. This location also has a liquor store with average prices but it gets hot inside and they don't have fridges to keep beers cold. read more

Costco mass quantities of toilet paper hahah! This place is always amazing. With a household of six we need XL packs of everything and they never disappoint. With the best return policy out of any retail store you feel more comfortable buying things that maybe you wouldn't otherwise. They require masks and have hand sanitizer everywhere. Sadly they're not offering samples (the absolute best part of Costco). Also their food court is open for takeout only. All the tables have been removed. Ketchup and mustard even removed, so you have to take your delicious hot dog to go!! read more

When we moved and had a larger house to stock, this place was a lifesaver for stocking up on cleaning supplies, paper towels and toilet paper for the bathrooms. We even got some blankets to spread across various rooms in the house. It was around $14 for a king sized fuzzy blanket!! Incredible. Let me tell you why this is the best Costco ever... His name is Larry. He is a boss. Sometimes he greets you with a warm hand shake and sometimes he's checking receipts and wishing you a pleasant day. I believe he is a supervisor or manager as other times he is walking the floor. He looks like he could be Denzel Washington's younger brother. Anyways, if you see him say hi, he has a wonderful heart and makes my trips to Costco enjoyable. I've been coming to this Costco for the past five years. I've always had a very pleasant experience with the employees. My mother had a massive stroke and was wheelchair-bound a couple of years ago. There's one particular employee that has always gone out of his way to make sure she was comfortable. His name is John. He works in service and is usually out pushing carts or walking the store. He would help us stop traffic so we can pull our car up to get her inside the car. (He had a father that has also had a stroke) We recently purchased two new car seats. He happened to be walking through the store at that moment and saw that we were struggling finding a way to get the car seats in the cart. He immediately called somebody over and took them up to the front checkstand to put them on hold. It's people like him that make me want to come back and shop Costco over Sam's Club. read more

I have to admit, I have a love-hate relationship with Costco. I mean do we need industrial size everything??? Plus every Costco I have been to is packed - with stuff, people, samples - it is warehouse overload as soon as you walk in. This Costco I like. It has ample parking and it is easy to get in and out of (which is saying a lot if you have gone to the Park Meadows Costco). Additionally, while it is very busy the lines seem to move and they even have self service check outs. They also have an on-site liquor department + a gas station. All pluses! In the end we keep going back to Costco because of the deals. Honestly, if all we bought was diet coke and tide here we would save a couple $100 a year. Plus if you find a big purchase it can translate to major saving (we bought a great treadmill for cheap!). Can't beat it! read more

Samples! Are you in the mood for a little (or sometimes a lot of) snack(s)? Yes? Maybe? Well, look no further. Costco has samples for you! Maybe not all of them but this location normally does, which ranges from salads, sausages, dry snacks, granola / protein bars, drinks, etc. The lines aren't too bad on weekday evenings, generally in and out within less than 10 minutes once in a checkout lane. However, weekends are a given to be jam packed at any Costco. It's relatively clean and spacious plus has ample parking. Their employees can either be friendly, or the total opposite. Food court employees are usually the latter. Although I love Costco, I still require a Sam's Club membership for little things they don't have such as beef short ribs, various snacks, desserts, and so forth. read more

I am a big fan of Costco. I have had a membership for over 20 years. When the one in Parker first opened up, I was rather excited, because at the time, I only lived a few blocks away. This Costco is always clean, and the associates are always friendly. I am especially happy when Larry is working the entrance or exit. He is especially nice. Costco is not for everyone, but if you know what to buy here, you can save a lot a money. Everyone loves the free samples, but that is both the boon and the bane of the Costco experience . . . and this store is no exception. Yes, I too enjoy sampling buffalo sausage, ravioli, chicken, yogurt, soup, etc. . . . however, some people cannot seem to figure out how to get a sample without completely blocking the aisles. When they have multiple kids in tow, it can quickly create shopping cart gridlock. Even though you have to pay 3% tax on groceries in Parker (unlike most of the Denver Metro Area), it is seldom worth the time to drive to Park Meadows to save a few dollars. Also the Park Meadows location seems to be constantly busy, and getting in and out of the parking area there can be a big pain. read more

I am more a fan of the other place, but each has it's good and bad points. I have been able to find things here that were not available in the other warehouse type club. I love their pretzel rolls, they are insanely good. Like the other big clubs, they only take certain credit cards, which I find a large pain and why I don't spend tons of money here because I don't have nor do I want an American Express. If I pay for a membership, I should be able to use whatever card I want. I have the same complaint about the others. I comparison shop at both, and you do have to be careful. I have found things up to 2 dollars more here then their competitor. There is enough difference in the products they carry to have both memberships for a year. I was fortunate enough to get on a business membership because of a PT Job. I don't think I will renew it though, still on the fence. Overall, I have made a few trips just here for things. Parked my car in the completely empty lot and looked up the time of Walmart to see if they were open when I was greeted by a "security" personnel who rudely yelled at me to move my car out of the lot. Had to write a review for an employee that helped us today by the name of Tim. As we were pushing our carriage out (btw packed poorly by inside packer) our pack of eggs fell straight to floor. Tim was pushing carriages in and said ... no problem...helped me pick up eggs & offered to go get me new pack without the hassle of us having to go back in! How awesome & kind was he?! He told us to put our things in car & to pull up once done...and he'd bring out a new pack. Thank you Tim for going above & beyond and CARING to be super customer focused with a SMILE. Honestly only reason review today is a 5 is because of Tim otherwise ...overall our experience today overall would've been a 2-3. don't know what it is.. but every Costco has different layouts. this location has left side as entrance which is kinda odd for right handed person like me. parking is plenty and bit less crazy compare to highlands or Havana location. traffic is lot better too. did i mention... lot better? recently, wanted to get some slim Jim's and they didn't have it. the clerk told us that every store has profiled items and slim Jim definitely didn't fit the profile. ended up getting it at the Havana location. this location has attached liquor store that offers lots of varieties of wine and popular spirits at great price. lately, they have been offering samples of Colorado micro brews and also featured wines. parking is great. has gas station. optical dept with doctor on duty. read more

This Costco is the best in the area. The one on Parker Road and E470 is actually closer to our house but the selection, layout, and the people are WAY better at the Park Meadows location. The parking SUCKS but once inside life begins to get better. Again, the selection is awesome and this location has the internal liquor license which is nice as well. There are somedays that I come here as a form of entertainment and exercise. I walk the isles learning about and buying all the new cool stuff. Costco also has a great selection of gluten, egg, and dairy-free foods. Love coming here except for the parking. read more

I have been a member of Costco for many years and have been quite pleased with all my experiences at several different locations in several different states. Well exactly one week ago I was visiting this location and checked out with a lady named CINDY. CINDY is an older lady who looks like she probably chain smokes cigarettes and drinks cheap vodka. But that's neither here nor there. I go through the line and as CINDY scans my items which were mostly clothes she slings them to the point the clothes unfolded. Ok no biggie. She scans a sweatshirt I stop her and say they rang up wrong Cindy snaps back "no they didn't" so I say I'm pretty sure they were $14.99 so she barks at me again "no they're not I checked" so I say "well I would like to check again" Cindy tells me "you can check and go to customer service to get your money back" so the guy bagging says I'll go check. Cindy yells to the rest of the line "it's gonna be a moment" and then seconds later turns to a manager and yells "can you cancel this order" never looking at me or telling me what's going on so I say "wait am I gonna have to ring everything up again" Cindy finally looks at me and says "uh yeah! I need to help MY MEMBERS" I'm thinking well what am I?! I'm pretty sure I paid for a membership as well! Before you know it she's now scanning the next person. So the guy comes back and says "ok the shirts you got are $19.99 however there are T-shirts right next to them with same brand for $14.99" Cindy yells "I need your card" so I say "give me a second to figure out what I'm going to do"! Cindy rudely says "well I'm just gonna keep helping other people" and starts the next persons transaction! I ask for a manager and when the manager comes and before I can have a chance to speak Cindy yells to the manager her version of what's going on. I say "can I speak" The manager completes my transaction at another register and apologizes for the situation. I'm shocked at the entire situation and and ended up contacting corporate for how rudely I was treated. But if Cindy is what Costco thinks is a good look for their Brandi will have to end my membership with Costco! I hope to never see her again and since the situation have decided to return the shirts bc they remind me of Cindy read more

I mean who doesn't-- but this review is for the SHEPARD'S PIE on the DELI SECTION--- I bought it for dinner one time for my family to try, we love Shepard's pie, but this one, I don't even know whats in ti!! IT TASTES LIKE DOG FOOD!!!!! no joke!! I'm not kidding, I followed the instructions on how to bake it, it looks wonderful when you pick it up, but once you dig in the meat filling is bland, it has a weird taste-- a stale like cardboard type of taste. This place is not fun and the parking is getting worse all the time. Often times this Costco location is out of key items such as the toilet paper my family prefers. Mark the manager was extremely rude to my mom when she came back into the store after realizing when she got home whoever packed her cart didn't put an item in her cart that she had paid for. She had called the store yesterday to let them know and Logan another manager I think was very nice and said he would look for the item and set another one aside if they still had any because the store only had 2 left in her size. But when she went in for the item today they never found it and didn't have any more left and none were set aside. The manager Mark was very rude and provided no help except a refund even though she was inconvenienced and had to go all the way back to the store just to find out they had none left. Pretty bad customer service on their part and will be going to the Lone Tree Costco from now on! read more

Okay, there are two part to this review. 1) we love Costco and we really like this store. We always find the best meats and supplies here. They always seem to be fully stocked. So for that I would give five stars. However, and this is 2) we went to the self checkout today to be mindful of staying away from others. We are mask supporters, and have always tried to be mindful of our 6 foot distance and wearing a mask when in public to help protect the workers, other patrons and ourselves. But as we were checking out an employee came up to us and asked us if we had scanned what we had on the bottom of our cart, which we hadn't because we had just arrived to checkout, she then got within two feet of us and started reaching through both my husband and I to scan the register and then our goods, but the most egregious offense was the fact she walked in front of us by the register and stood less than two feet away, pulled her mask down completely revealing her mouth and yelled something to another employee. What the heck? No mask, Shes yelling, And less than two feet from us? When there are signs posted everywhere to have a face covering at all times for EVERYONE. I was floored and quite frankly a little shocked. I did not make a scene, but we did call a manager, Tina, who was very considerate and sincerely apologetic to the situation, once again I would give the manager a 5 star too. But that employee gets 0 stars. There are rules set in place and my husband and I have done Everything to abide by them, it was inconceivable that someone had so little disregard for our wellbeing. So the store itself and manger get five stars, employee 0. So my rating right now is 3. I would have only put a one star for today, but I thought that I need to weigh everything out in consideration of my review. read more

I am a huge Costco fan and the Costco in Parker ups the ante... I used to shop at the Douglas County Costco by Park Meadows mall, but made the switch to Parker when it opened. All the great things about Costco in general here, but the things that make this store great are: Easy Peasy parking lot! No traffic messes. A liquor store on site Big wide aisles Seems less crowded (which may be an illusion due to it's size) Lastly I will mention that Costco has done a great job of increasing it's natural and organic selections and I am huge fan of the in-store Kirkland brand. The store is big and wide for everyone. The parking is great but a little insufficient sometimes for handicap people. However, I would not recommend the bbq ribs. It is a bit on the salty side and not falling off the bones, if you are into that kind of things. It also lack the bbq flavor.
