I called the Parker Costco to ask about a battery for my Jetta. The person I spoke with was very helpful , so I drove over to get the battery. I get there and had to wait while the employee was helping another person, He was being very friendly and helpful to the customer and I wondering if this is the same guy I spoke on the phone with. I don't know what it is about the fact that I can buy 8,000 rolls of toilet paper at once for about $5 but I love it!!! They have tons of things to buy and I think everything in the store is about $8.66 (I don't know where they get their prices from). A little insider tip, you don't need a COSTCO card to use their liquor store... so, all you booze hounds can get 2 cases of beer for the price you would normally get one. If you live in Parker and are tired of spending WAY to much money at Safeway, get a COSTCO card for $50 and save the amount you spent on your card in the first trip, I know I did. read more

Typically I enjoy Costco; However today I came across a checker that was both rude and incompetent (Ashley Employee since 2005). We had separated our order into 2 sections: personal and business; and explained this to Ashley; she said that she would subtotal it. We explained that we were going to pay for the 2 orders separately; Ashley insisted that the subtotal would allow us to run it as 2 transactions. This is important to us to keep our business accounting straight. When we checked out we used a Costco cash card and our personal Debit; however it was for all of the items not the ones we separated. Ashley went on to tell us that it was because I used my debit card with my wife's Costco card (which is total crap - we are on the same account) as the reasoning she used for not keeping our personal and business order separate (our business is also listed on our Costco acct). She called over a manager to straighten it out; and went on to explain the situation as though it was our fault. We felt bad that the line was being held up and ended up just leaving having paid for our business goods with our personal funds. We will continue to shop here however we will avoid Ashley like the plague. read more

I have a slow leak in a tire purchased here that is covered by Costco's free repair warranty. Stopped in and was given two options, wait 5 hours or make an appointment a week out. Neither of these options was acceptable and I'm now paying someone else to make the repair. I usually love Costco and am very disappointed today. read more

It's a big, big box store. If you're not a member, become one or you won't be able to get in. If you are a member, then get on in and get to shoppin'! Costco has what you would expect Costco to have: just about everything. Clothes, books, groceries, health and beauty goods, even gasoline. You want it, you can probably find it here. Everything comes in bulk, so you better have a big pantry, closet, freezer, whatever. Or, failing that, an army of hungry mouths. I am particularly fond of their on-site liquor store, as the deals there are amazing. You can find good locally brewed beer by the case for very good prices, as well as spirits and wine. read more

This comment is for the Costco auto center. The representative at this location is extremely rude. I contacted them to get some quotes for the tires for my vehicle and was told to hold. I waited for 26 minutes and then they picked up and said "can you wait for a few more minutes and I know you been waiting for 4 minutes." I was like exercise me? I've been waiting for the last 26 minutes. He then responded I have at least 30 people (which I find that hard to believe) in line and then put me right back on hold. I understand they are busy and probably short staff due to COVID but don't need to be rude to their customers. read more

This is one of the best locations in the Denver for a Costco. I love the employees as they are helpful and friendly on each and every visit. Even when the parking lot is full the store seems to be at a comfortable level. The only criticism that I have is that they put highly desired samples in the main isle right in front of the coolers. This causes a bottleneck and it's hard to get by without having to go all the way down the long isle and around. There has got to be a better way. I love the fact that the parking spaces are super-sized. This makes loading the car so much better. read more

It may be a trek for a city dweller, but if you're doing some serious grocery shopping it can be worth it! Parker tax is less than Denver. This place is HUGE, new and super clean. Liquor store- Costco win! Always great prices on a wide selection of beer, liquor and wine. And you don't need a Costco card to shop here! Parking lot- so much better than Park Meadows location. Almost worth a 5th star just for that. Everything else is pretty standard Costco to me. Though this store is laid out differently which always confuses me to no end. Park Meadows is my "home" store, and I've got that layout down pat, but every once in awhile the need to stock up at the liquor store brings me here. read more

This Costco is one of the closest in the area to me, off Parker Road. I don't have a membership here, but my mom does and I go with her to buy groceries or other things that we need. This location is ALWAYS BUSY! The parking lot could definitely be bigger due to the amount of people that are drawn in. Same with the size of the store. However, Costco does provide the essential groceries or other products that you might need in your every day life. The majority of items come in bulk, if you didn't know that already. This is what makes Costco so great! I can literally find all my groceries in bulk and not have to visit the store a million times. Not to mention, if you need a U.S. passport photo, Costco's got you covered. I didn't know this until just recently. This is good to know because they actually provide these passport photos at a cheaper price, when comparing to other shops that do them. Watch out though and make sure you get to this location as early as when they open if you're trying to beat the crowd! read more

As far as Costcos go this is a nice one. I mean what can you say about a Costco that you wouldn't say about the other Costcos. They are all about the same. However, this costco has good parking where as the one by the Park Meadows mall is a freaking nightmare to park in. This Costco is also very clean and has a great selection of meats and prepared foods. My fiancé likes the samples so you know they get points for that. The lines move quickly the staff is friendly and they have a liquor store that has great pricing on alcohol. All and all this is a great Costco as far as Costcos go. Words of wisdom: They only take American Express Credit cards. Otherwise you need to pay via cash or debit. Just be prepared. Now get out there and feed that army of a family you have with tons of Mayo! read more

How delightful that Costco has a location IN Parker. With a family of 5, how could I not love it? When I was single or a couple, it was too much for me and I rarely used our membership. Now, I'm there often and my husband's bummed if I go without him. Kids love it too with all the free samples. I think they'd eat just about ANY sample at Costco. While the prices are often great, there are times when King Soopers has a sale on an item that's a better price so good to pay attention if bargain-shopping is your thing. What I don't like is that there's usually one brand of things so not much in the way of options. PS...the Parker location has auto-checkout lines for people with few items so no need to avoid the store when you're popping in for a handful of things. Nothing worse that holding one item, late for a potluck, and standing behind someone stocking their home for a year! read more

It's kinda hard to say "Yay! I'm a fan." and not even have a membership but somehow I manage. I've actually been shopping at Sam's Club for several years and when I was a kid my parents had a membership to Costco so I had been there often when I lived in Phoenix. I agree, the amount of parking available is nice. I've only been to this one twice and though I haven't been compelled yet to get a membership I'd likely go back with someone else if invited. I do think sometimes though, that you can get better deals shopping the sales with coupons at some of the local grocery stores which is why I can't bring myself to paying for a membership here in addition to Sam's. Maybe one day when I have to buy diapers? I know I'll need ungodly amounts of those. read more

Worst service at the tire center ever. I have a slow leak so I bring my van in. They patch it and tell me to "watch the tire." Sure enough, by morning the tire is flat again. I bring it back in and now they tell me there is a gash along the side (how did they miss a gash the first time?). They say a new tire is 80% covered under warranty, but they have to order it. It'll take 1-2 days. Fine. After 2 days I call to see how things are going. They don't know. I'm out on hold for 20 minutes and then they tell me they think my tire just arrived, but they can't change it until I come in and pay for the difference. Why did no one tell me this before? But, he assured me, as soon as I come in they will get to my car right away and take care of it. So I come in the next day during my lunch break, pay the difference, and now they tell me it will be an hour and fifteen, because there are two cars ahead of me. What happened to taking care of it right away and if you can't honor that commitment, then don't make it! It's now 2 hours later and I'm still waiting. read more

Well! We returned a very expensive item paid by a DEBIT card. After, three days we are still waiting for the money/cash to be placed back onto our card. Let me emphasis a debit card is the same as cash. WE asked for cash and COSTCO said NO! This is poor business practice as other merchants have the DEBIT funds back to plastic within hours! I know they can take as much time as they wish.....just, not good customer service! read more

I have found out that Costco is a great place to purchase electronics. Costco has a concierge service for 2 years at no additional charge to their customers. I had a computer for 2 yrs and I was having problems with it and by chance I went to the Customer Service desk to see if it was within my 2 yr coverage. I was 2 days away. Once I notified the concierge services I was able to use my computer for several more weeks before I even sent it in. When I got it back they repaired all my problems and even replaced some keys I couldn't see anymore. If you're looking for electronics, I recommend you purchase them from Costco. You'll be happy you did if anything should go wrong with it. They cover TVs, laptops all electronics. This alone is worth the membership fee when you consider how much a 2 yr warrantee is on electronics these days. read more

I always find what I need, and sometimes what I DO NOT need. It's well organized for the most part... if you could just stop moving my La Croix water all the time. But that's really not an issue. Lost my phone today at this Costco, and staff such as Marta were very attentive and helpful in eventually successfully retrieving it. One of the staff helped look a bit in the parking lot after I confirmed that's were it had dropped out of my jacket, despite them always being very busy. Complements to the staff. As I've lost a GPS at a rental car company before, and it was bon voyage electronics, adios forever. Every time I'm in there, I spend at least $300 and I only have a family of four. The store tempts you with lots of unique items and they give samples and once you taste how delicious the item is, you can't pass it up. The things I don't like, are the 3% tax on food, the long lines, usually they should add a checker or two to get us out of there quicker, especially on weekends, The thing I hate the most, is that some sizes of items are just way too big and I can't stand eating the same foods over and over and over and over again waiting for them to run out. The things I like, are the fruit and vegetable selections in a cold room, cuts of meat are fantastic, attached liquor store was good prices, and the money back program on purchases, which are given to you each year upon renewal and helps defray the cost of the renewal or you can use it to buy more items. read more

My wife and I went to buy a 65 inch TV on the holiday sale. We had always bought Vizio TV's. When looking at the different models we met two guys that were AMAZING to deal with. They gave my wife and I the run down on what was new for this years Televisions. After letting them know our wants and needs they directed us to a LG. These guys were both very knowledgeable and were not pointing us to the most expensive television. Its very seldom in today's world that you get Great customer service from a big box store. After calling every Costco in the area to find a watch for my boyfriend I called Parker's location last. They patched me through to the stock room and let me tell you that even though they could not find what I was looking for in their store they took the time to do some extensive research to make absolutely sure that all Costco's in Colorado were out of stock of the item. These two gentlemen made my day and even though this was now several months ago I had to be sure that they got credit. Sorry I forgot their names but they know who they are. That's customer service.. Please teach the people who load carts how to do it properly. Today my eggs were crushed because they were placed underneath a heavy box. Also when I ask for my groceries to be boxed, generally a few things are poorly packed in a box and everything else is still loose. If I wanted to carry a couple of things at a time into my house from the car, I wouldn't bother to ask for a box. Also, the pharmacist didn't bother to come back from lunch today or took a very long lunch. I waited over a half hour and then had to leave. So another trip later today. I generally love the Parker store, but today, in a word, it sucked. On a lighter note, the bathroom was not as filthy as usual. read more

Great prices. GREAT parking situation. What can I say...my wife is a Costco addict. Worth the time to drive to the Parker location. Skip Park Meadows, but only due to the difficult parking lot. Optical department is a perfect place to get your glasses. Reasonable and fast. This location also has smaller lines. As you are exiting, be sure to get the hotdog drink combo. We don't come to this Costco often because it's a little out of the way. It is very consistent with the other Costco experiences we've had: similar selection, pricing, and service compared to other locations. We stop here for gas frequently, though, and that's generally a decent experience. There's a friendly attendant there who usually asks how you're doing. read more

My Costco Pharmacy Experience I just had my first experience with the pharmacy inside this Costco and it was terrible. I had my vet call in my dog's medications there because of the lower pricing. Once I arrived, they struggled to find the medications, and then suddenly closed up for lunch. They came over to me and said they could not release my dog's medications without an NPI number. The last lady to leave said "Sorry, be back in half an hour". So I sat down on the bench and called my vet and asked them to call the pharmacy with this number. Then, since it was not my day off I had to leave to go back to work, without my dog's medications. An hour later, Costco Pharmacy called back and said they COULD have released the medications without this NPI number after all. And told me the medications were ready for pickup. I told them I had to return home because it wasn't my day off, and the uncaring guy simply said "ok, we'll hold them for up to 10 days". Out of curiosity, I called my vet to see if the Dr. had called in, and they had just gotten off the phone with Costco Pharmacy, trying to explain to the Costco Pharmacy staff that vets do not have NPI numbers. My vet's staff were appalled at how rude the pharmacist had been with them on the phone, and it dove-tailed nicely with my experience so I have no reason to doubt their account. The long story is I am out a 40-minute round trip to this place, had to deal with a poor customer service experience, and had to leave without the medications my pet needs. I asked my vet to call in the prescription to the local grocery store instead. I will not be going back to the Costco pharmacy and I will relate this experience to my friends and neighbors. read more

How can you give Costco anything but 5 stars?? We were so happy when they opened this Costco because we are only 10 minutes away and we hated going to the Park Meadows location. We go here once a week and never seem to make it out for under $100. We purchase all of our meats here because they are high quality and we have a large family to feed. The location is very clean because it is so new and they even have self-checkout lines if you only have a few things. We have a routine everytime we go in which our daughter goes and picks us up an Iced Mocha drink and then our shopping can begin. I can't imagine a world without Costco...can you?? read more

While this Costco may tack on a ghastly 3% tax on foodstuffs (... gag), its Optical department rocks. My family always gets their glasses done here. If they don't have the frames they're looking for, they'll at least get them adjusted here because they swear up and down that the service here in unparalleled. After seeing them work on my mother's Ferragamos, I can't help but agree. Christine helped fix my mom's glasses with the utmost patience and care. Two thumbs way, way up for that!
