I love Costco but my experience today visit was a worst. Employee/s they're are responsible their job to scan the items because of social distancing I didn't notice there's an item employee/s didn't scan in on the item when you going to check out I was counting the items there's a missing. I stop and look the receipt and I couldn't read where's the total items I got. They make you look like a worst if you not aware they did that intentionally maybe employees/s has personally against to their membership!! I don't do nothing wrong they did that in purpose to their customer. read more

Why do I come here when there are two other Costos nearer to my home? Three reasons: 1) greater selection of products, 2) an adjoining Costco liquor store, 3) no sales tax. read more

Costco is one of my all time favorite stores...I gave them great Kudo's for being ahead of the curve on managing the coronavirus social managing and crowd control...went to Costco today and was dismayed by the number of people in the store with NO PPE measures..get with the governor's mandate to require a minimum of a mask for all persons inside the store... and keep up the good work in all other areas. read more

Omg, what can you not get at Costco? Milk check. Produce check. Diamond jewelry? Why not?

This is my absolute favorite store. It is clean, very organized, and the employees are helpful. I wish there was a Costco around the corner. Remember to download the application to gain access to current sales and coupons available. read more

Beware the meat. Recently, my husband and I were having a grill-out and picked up various meats at this store. Even while there I noticed that the temperature that they were keeping the meat wasn't very cool at all. We grab cold items once we are done with the rest of our shopping, have them packed in insulated bags, and live less than 15 minutes away. Once home meat went right into the refrigerator or freezer. The next day, when my husband went to open the thighs, suddenly our whole house smelled like rotten meat. The thighs were rancid. Not totally related but the sell by date was the day after we bought the stuff (I know that does not usually matter much b/c there is still time past the sell by date that the stuff is good for). It is mid-summer and blazing hot so I cannot help but wonder if their meat coolers need to be set lower, as they are open to the air and the rest of the store is not super cool like a normal grocery. Of the meat we bought, 50% had odd smells or were totally bad already, and I am struggling to get that horrid smell out of our home. Otherwise, after having compared prices between Safeway, Target, Walmart, Food Lion, etc., I have not found very many things that are actually a savings at CostCo. I do not have the room nor need for 8 liters of juice or 100 servings of Oreos, and when you break down the pricing on many things here, you would save by buying multiple normal sizes at other stores. I am sure some of the stuff is a savings, but with our family being my husband, myself, and our 2 dogs, CostCo hasn't proven to be worth much other than a place to buy office supplies or electronics on occasion. read more

Alls I gotta say is - tax free and discounted pricing on decent quality vino. Warrants a visit every time i drive up 95 on my way home to philly. read more

Love this place. Jeanne is the best cashier and so is allyn. Regina at door is nasty and so is lady with white hair.

Today was a great day. The lines moved quickly and the price was right for the Huggies Babies Wipes. They had a $5 coupon which made the price even better. read more

This is a great Costco! Just wish they had the gas station like many of the others. Also, they need to have the website correctly indicate the hours of operation! It's Memorial Day and the website states "Open Now". My husband drove all the way up there to find it closed......Bummer!! read more

This is the worst Costco I ever went to, half the meat we bought was spoiled, fruit and vegies didnt last more than 2-3 days super slow check out lines not recommanded read more

I too am very disappointed that Costco in Newark DE doesnt have a GAS STATION. That shortcoming causes me to join BJs. It would also be nice if they had a Deli to get lunch meat & cheese, like BJS. The I could totally cancel my BJS membership. read more

They have very reasonable prices if you need to buy in bulk. I also like their clothes. I have 6 grandchildren and have bought them clothes at Costco and they have name brand with great prices. I also bought top quality sweaters for my 3 daughter-in-laws and they loved the sweaters. Their rotiserri chicken and ribs are great. I don't buy too much fruit. Their freezer items and eggs are always a great buy. read more

This Costco is huge and has a liquor store attached, the liquor store had a good variety of items, including a beer gift set that we bought 3 of, it is sales tax free, and worth the trip from MD. Also nice wine selection, nice blended reds, semi sweet whites. read more

This Costco is always super busy and parking is sometimes a mission. I am very disappointed they do not have a Costco Gas Station as I always felt that was a big Costco membership perk. Overall clean environment to shop in, but the prices are getting more expensive than retail, as well as their "bulk" quantities are getting smaller and smaller but prices are staying the same. I pay money for a membership to get wholesale prices and save money and time buying in bulk. If value does not improve I will not be renewing membership. read more

I love Costco, but I have to say I do not recommend their Optical Department. First of all, I called and asked if they took my insurance. The woman I got on the phone assured me they did. I then visited the store to order contacts, at which point they told me they, in fact, do not take my insurance. I told the employee the woman I spoke to on the phone told me they took it. She denied anyone would tell me that. She was very rude. I ignored this and ordered a years worth of contacts, which I was told would take about 1 week to come in. 2 weeks go by, I don't hear anything. I called the 3rd week, turns out my order was never received with the vendor. They assured me the order would be expedited and they would take $ off to make up for the delay. Another week goes by, nothing. By the 4th week I called and asked for the manager. The employee told me they weren't in yet but he would call me back. Shockingly enough, I never got a call back. I finally received a text the following weekend that my contacts were ready. I picked them up in store. No apology, no money taken off my order, nothing. So yeah, safe to say this was a very unpleasant experience. You are far better off taking your money elsewhere. read more
