I'm here every week. The parking is crazy and the lines to checkout but they have great buys. I love the food quality and how they rotate bakery items. Clothing is nice and the have cool dog toys. If you don't mind buying things in bulk and saving money, this is a great place to shop. Oh, when you pay cash at their café, you will wait a while before someone comes to help you. If you pay with a card at the kiosk, it's quicker. Gas is the best. The lines move quickly because most have 3 pumps per side. read more

This isn't my typical Costco. I stopped here to get some Halloween candy for an event when I was in the area. It might have been the fact that I was here in the middle of a random Wednesday, but it was very calm and not crowded at all. If you know a typical trip to Costco, this isn't always the case. They had a ton of samples going which I always appreciate, and the staff members were pleasant and welcoming. The my had a solid variety of candy options (pre-Halloween) and even had Christmas items already out. I can imagine at this point the collection is abundant. This is my main Costco that I go to weekly. The staff are always really nice and when there are samples, they are very accommodating with your family. I usually go during the week when it's a little less busy or early on a Sunday morning. Never had any issues they take returns really easily, and knows to see you often greet you politely. You know, not a bad place if you go right at closing. Other than that it's horrible! You're pretty much shoulder to shoulder with everyone, lines to check out are long and you never know where they start to get into one. BUT! The selections are always plentiful, the employees we encounter have always been nice and helpful, and it's just a regular costco visit as any other store. IF you go right before closing, I'm talking a half hour or less, it's a lot more tolerable. Same selections, a lot less people and a lot less stress. That's the way to go. For anyone reading this that is thinking of going you should go right at peak hour during the day and NOT go when we like to go right at before closing. :D Great store. I love this Costco! This is where we get the majority of the things we like to buy in bulk- meat, kids snacks, condiments, etc. I always have a great experience with everyone who works here, they're so friendly and they go out of their way to help you. I recently had to update my membership card and the customer service was fantastic. We also just had our first Costco Tire service and I was very impressed. We ordered online, dropped off our car for an hour while we shopped, and then our tires were done (free installation with purchase). I would recommend this warehouse! read more

Our shopping experience was fine. We found all we were looking for on our list. We went to check-out and Christina our checker was quite rude. She barely made eye-contact or asked how our experience was. I was with my son and she grumbled, "who is paying for this" yes we had alcohol on the belt. Quick in and out, no frills affordable gasoline ! I live in Illinois where they tax the daylights out of us, essentially for fuel! This store was about $0.80 less per gallon than what is charged in OFallon IL for 87 octane. A huge difference and worth the price of membership. The exit is near the front of the parking area so you have to get in line in the back. Be careful in the parking lot as the place is busy even in the middle of the day during the week. read more

This is a different Costco then the one I usually visit, but they are basically all the same. They are AWESOME! My favorites are their chocolate chip cookies and big box of skinny pop popcorn! The Costco itself is good but the gas station attendant was so rude. There was this one man with a mustache and a goatee who mansplained getting gas. He proceeded to pull the pump and stick it directly in my car in front of me, asked if I had ever done this before, and took my credit card and used to pay in front of me. I am satisfied with the price of groceries here, but will not get gas here again. I have never had problems getting gas at other Costco locations. read more

We came here today to get a few items. store was clean and organized. there was great choice of fresh and hot dishes. We decided to use the selfcheck out. As we were checking out, a lady that worked there came over and said she will help us with the check out to get it faster. she scanned the rest of our items, she looked at our items, the amount of items listed, our total $222 and decided that it was wrong. She cleared the transaction and started over. she got the same amount of items and total $222 and she was finally satisfied. so here we were 20 minutes later finally able to buy our things and leave the store. we will have to avoid the self check out at this location in order to avoid this encounter again. read more

As a disabled shopper, I've had a variety of customer service experiences, mostly wonderful. This Costco was outstanding. My daughter and I ran up $400 tab of essentials; you can imagine the number of items. We requested help and we're promptly assigned two helpers. I tried to force $10 tip on them but they smiled and said "we are paid enough and don't take tips". Despite my insistence, they smilingly refused the tip! No WiFi. No self checking out. No apps. No customer service unless you wanna go wait in lines. So crowded. People are rude. Busy yes. But their prices are not cheap. If you think Walmart is bad, this is ten times! I've tried avoid coming here and buy it on line a few times. But it's so limited with on line items. What's the reason? Having been a Sam's Club member my entire life I find it hard to go to Costco. When I do go to Costco I only buy a few things. One Salsa and One Prosecco do not warrant a membership renewal. Prescription prices are better at Sam's with the Sam's Plus Membership. Costco's hours are very frustrating to me. I love the location, and shop in this area weekly... C'mon Costco. This review is solely on the Manchester MO location. And honestly, more so on the actual shoppers. First, the parking lot. It is limited access getting in to the parking lot. On this particular Friday, the parking lot was packed. Other drivers just pretend to not notice you or just don't care altogether. Shoppers will walk right out in front of your car so be careful. The fend for yourself behavior continues when you attempt to get a cart on your way in. The arrangement of aisles is typical for any Costco here. It is just very busy. So when going through the store be prepared to take your time and be continually cut off by other shoppers. Some will fly the wrong way down main aisles and expect you to steer out of their way. Food samples? Shoppers here will commonly stand at a sample stand and take multiple samples knowing others are waiting for a sample too. Seriously. Checkout is the worst when it is busy. I have seen people cut each other off and act oblivious. Here is where the customer service is very poor. The checkers typically act like you're not there and talk to each other more than the customers. Leaving check out and heading to the door? Be ready to get cut off again and others pretend to not see you. The workers checking receipts at the door tend to be obnoxious with jokes that aren't funny and make you feel awkward. It's weird. Exiting the parking lot is worse because you have to deal with the people leaving the gas pumps. Thankfully Cosctco has deals and products that keep me coming back, because the experience shopping here is terrible. read more

I have used Costco gas in many places across the country and at this particular place It was clean and well attended with staff a available to help you in no matter what type of situation you may need. Costco in general has very good covid-19 practices in all their staff were masked as well. The quality of the gas is excellent especially for the price point that they ask for and if you need to use premium gas it's a really good value. I was at this Costco today buying some stuff. When I approached to pay, I got some hand sanitizer from a counter and proceeded to pay. Upon getting close to the cashier, TONI SIT, she told me something that I didn't understand the first time. She then raised her voice saying stay back, "I'm allergic to germ-x." I purchased a Costco membership as a single person going to grad school - never have I ever purchased anything else this worthwhile! With the increase in gas prices, I'm so grateful that Costco helps with my commute. Also, the Kirkland brand products are cheaper with the same or better quality than name brands. I want to like this Costco. It's definitely the "nicer" Costco in St. Louis, with more upscale items compared to the South County location. They also have a larger selection of fruit compared to south county. My issue with this location is the crowd. It's unbelievably busy. Being busy makes it hard to navigate around the store with a large shopping cart. I typically go to Costco for simple items like bottled water, fruit, veggies and some grocery items that can be found at any location. I want to come here more for the better selection of fruits, but the large crowds are dissuading. read more

Worse customer service I've ever experienced only in this Costco. I renew my membership and this grumpy woman name Robin was helping me. I made my payment put my card on the machine. The payment already went through. Then she asks for my credit card without explanation. She just grab my credit card from my hand and the tone of her voice was very rude. So I asks her why she wants my card since the payment already went through. She seems very confrontational.. so when I left to go inside Cosco, I ask the guy at the standing there. If you are looking for a fantastic price on a real Christmas tree, Costco has you covered! After going to a tree lot and getting disappointed about the only small trees my fiancé and I could afford after paying for our wedding rings, we decided to drive on over to Costco to pick up some groceries instead. Upon walking in to Costco they had a beautiful 8-foot Fraser Fir tree with a sign for $35.99. We asked the employee by the door and he told us any of the Fraser Fir Christmas trees (all 7-8 feet) were $35.99! What a steal! We paid at the register, went into the parking lot where the trees were kept, and picked out a beautiful, fragrant Fraser Fir. Upon getting the tree home and set up, the branches opened up beautifully and were quite full. I'm so glad we happened upon these at Costco! read more

Another great eyeglass repair from Costco's Optical department My one earpiece was loose at the temple as the frame was bent a bit (I clearly did that, but where and when?) and Kerin worked to get a new, longer screw installed to pull it all back together and get the glasses tightened up... nice... just like new! Kerin also nicely helped my wife select a pair of eyeglasses and sunglasses (second pairs are discounted). Just like when I got my glasses at Costco, the price of both of my wife's glasses were less than a single pair elsewhere. And they are stylish and well made, etc. Why get your glasses any where else?
