Love Costco so much! I bring my service dog in with me who loves walking the pet aside. My only "complaint" is the lack of treats for dogs with allergies. It would be awesome if Costco had treats w/NO chicken or beef meal in their ingredients. The Lamb jerky was discontinued & now only have beef. Anything that's "Duck" or "Salmon" still has chicken/beef meal or fat listed in the ingredients. Can we get a peanut butter/molasses treats w/out junk fillers??! He used to enjoy carrying his treats around & recently can't have anything being offered. I know there's plenty of fur babies that would benefit from healthy treats!! I came to this location for the food court and cheap Costco gas. The food court is sectioned apart from the Costco shopping area in a hangar-like structure. The result is an enclosed food court area that is disappointingly small because seating tables are very limited. There isn't a kiosk inside the Costco to order food so you'll have to stand in line at the food court. I ordered the chicken bake ($3), hot dog $1.50), and pepperoni pizza slice ($2). All three were delicious and piping hot when served. The pizza was cheesy and had an average amount of pepperoni slices. The hot dog was decent sized with a warm steamed bun. The gas station line wasn't too long, but I think that depends on when you arrive. I came during a weekend afternoon. They didn't have the gas station with three gas pumps, but only two. This made for a longer than necessary wait, especially with the gas attendants trying to serve everyone. Make sure to say "regular, fill" if you want regular gas to fill your tank full. Next time, I'll go inside and see how this location compares to others, but for the time being, this was based on the food court and gas station. read more

Clackamas Costco is such a great location for many reasons. 1 - its right next to the freeway so getting back and forth is much easier than the airport one which sometimes gets backed up due to volume or the train passing. 2 - it was the first in the metro area to get gasoline service I believe, and it's been a godsend to have Costco Gas here as it is routinely 10-30 cents cheaper than other stations nearby. 3 - The customer service desk and management are always super helpful in helping you solve a problem or locate something that may be out of stock. read more

Costco is for life and I do appreciate the great prices and the incredibly hard-working frontliners. But, jeez, parking at the Clackamas store is horrendous, especially for the disabled! I question if they are even ADA compliant with the required ratio of disabled spots to able-bodied. The bulk of the parking lot is always full during store open hours and drivers are absolute a-holes jockeying for a space close to the front door, cutting people off doing so. I was gifted a Costco membership card as a college graduation gift and I've been shopping at Costco with my new membership for almost a year now. I always do self check out and today I randomly got singled out by a Costco employee asking to see my membership card because I looked "too young to have a membership" and I was the only person of color (Mexican) in self checkout. The employee gave me a hard time even though i showed her my membership. I didn't know at the time, but after she let proceed checking out my items, she followed me to my car in the parking lot and continued to harass me -- calling me a liar. The employee was an older Caucasian woman with all white hair. Costco needs to fire this woman because she harassed me today and I'm sure she's harassing others as well read more

We are a loyal Costco loving family of four and love the products and the prices. We will say we've been disappointed by the customer service lately. Everyone seems on edge and burnt out. I travel all over for work, Costco is my go to all around shopping place. This Clackamas store has been by far the worst Ive been to from California to Washington state. Last year with a flu shot the manager yelled at me after I complained there is no sign. Do you see the sign in the picture? All three of us did not see it. When I had a change oil I was told I will need tires soon, so I took it In Woodinville, WA costco and took him less than 5 minutes to check remaining threads on the tires. But unfortunately I will have to come back Monday because they are busy. Told him I cant because Im heading back to Oregon for work so if can just make notations about it and I will head to Clackamas Costco. When I get to Clackamas Monday morning I checked in and waited for almost two hours with nothing, told myself I did not have appointment thats probably. I made one for the afternoon and came back half an hour early and same thing a little over an hour and nothing. Talked to customer service and dumb lady dont know what shes talking about either and keep making excuses why I needed to wait over an hour for to the check remaining threads. And finally after waiting for so long I got and answer, she told me what the Woodinville Costco did plus since one of the tires is still good, only the 3 tires will be covered by the warranty. The car is a Subaru and all wheel drive and you want to replace only 3 tires??? I called the 1800 number and asked for helped, he did and asked him if I could go to a different costco. I went to a different costco, they are very busy and waited about 15 mins to get checked in but after that it took them about the same time at woodinville to check the remaining threads, about5 mins. Explained to them I did all the recommended tire rotations and they agree it was in the record. They also agree of covering all tires and that its advisable to replace all tires because its a subaru. Overall this is how a tire warranty should be handled especially from costco. Im really thankful to the 1800 agent I talked to. And for Clackamas, I will never recommend this costco to anyone especially the pharmacy and tire center. It is the closest one for convenience I will visit the warehouse for regular items. And if I could, I would give this store a -5 review! A lady customer service supervisor or maybe a manager who doesnt know know how long it takes check the remaining tire threads. read more

Awful customer service! Went in to just buy 1 pack of medicine and a cartoon of cigarettes. When trying to pass the long lines of checkouts an older cashier stopped me in the middle of her transaction to stop me, exclaiming I can't pay for my medicine at the cigarette window. I explained to her that I have always paid for merchandise at that counter, but she wouldn't take no for an answer. She proceeds to call her supervisor Willie for backup. After arguing for a minute, they force me to stand in line to purchase my 1 item. This Clackamas Costco has clearly forgotten how to handle customers with respect as the group of associates call me out and embarrass me in front of a busy store. It's easy to hate on Costco. It may as well be consumerism at its worst with products from Monsanto, nutty weekend crowds, and shopping hysteria on the bulk end, but people still keep coming back. Why? Because this is the shining standard of all Costcos, with friendly employees, crowd control, awesome inventory, and plenty of parking. Here's a few more reasons: * Clean. Really clean: I'm talking about the floors, the organized cardboard, the neat aisles, bathrooms, and even the food court. I've seen some gnarly versions of all the aforementioned before at other locations, so hats off to Clackamas. * Efficient service: The register people are fast. Employees manning other departments are helpful. Even the customer service folks dealing with accounts and returns are easy to work and interact with. This is so huge. * Gas station: Sure, other Costcos have low priced gas as well but this one does all that with few lines during the weekend and/or lunch hour. Combine that with full service gas attendants (Oh Oregon), and suddenly this gets pretty fun. Then of course, there is the insanity of every day products offered in bulk and countless electronics and even a mild jewelry selection. It's not perfect for just any wholesale store, but for the standards of Costco and the other locations beyond, it is about as good as it gets. read more

I found myself needing to renew my membership that lapsed, I decided to go in to do it and grab some salads. I know people love Costco, I am indifferent and keep my membership for travel reasons. That is why I upgraded last july for Executive and ended up with a $150 bonus check. I will not be traveling this year, so I needed to downgrade. For the love of God if I knew it was going to be in line with trying to kill a dragon on fire, I would have not listened to the cashier who said, not so nicely, renew here and downgrade there at the counter but why would you? I get down to customer service, first lady, "not my window go to the end window" Got to end window, "not what I do here, go to the middle" where he proceeded to go. Okay. I will make this the condensed version, 25 mins later, 6 people later, two of those supervisors, I got my membership reduced back to Business level. I heard, " do you know you got a giant rebate check why downgrade" They talked down to me like I cannot do math or know I won't be in there enough, the one lady, really wish I had taken her name for this review, was the worst. They worded it like they were taking this years rebate if I downgraded. Once we got that straight, the dragon was up again to tell me I would get my refund next year if I didn't use it enough. I should have double tapped her down the min she started the script and a script it was as all 6 people used the EXACT same phrases and words. When I finally got to the point I had to say enough was enough downgrade me, they had to fill out forms as to why, so it must be a thing. It left me really not wanting to go back in for any reason. They are super annoying here. Rereading my review from 2014, not much changed, same rude people. read more

Avoid these jokers at all cost for tires. Bought 80k tires and 40k later they were too bald to do ride-sharing. While most tire shops will warranty the tires below 4/32 of tread wear, Costco requires 2/32 leaving me buying new tires at full price or not working. Scott blamed me for the tire wear stating that I didn't rotate the tires often enough despite the fact that I did and they were all worn evenly. His manager Adalee was equally unsympathetic and unhelpful. read more

Super disappointed with the customer service from the warehouse manager here, I believe her name is Sarah... called regarding a return issue that only the warehouse manager can handle, and here we are over a month later.. she said it would only be a few days that she would get back to me, then that turned into 2 weeks and she said she's still going through all her emails then the 2 weeks had now turned into over a month later with no response.. just looks really terrible from a customer service stand point considering Costco is usually much better than this. read more

A member for many years, but no real need for it anymore. Is there anything outside of maybe tires on special that aren't the same price somewhere that doesn't charge a $60 a year membership? Gas, electronics, etc. can be found elsewhere for the same price. Always insanely crowded. You want to go where there's tons of people now and deal with the occasional anti-vax, anti-mask folks? Though masks are enforced and it's probably safe enough? The parking lot though, will make you question what life is worth. Theirs and yours. Are people learning to drive here for their first time? Pedestrians who have an apparent death wish? I'm not feeding The Brady Bunch or operating a food cart. Speaking of food, the Food Court is awful. How do u screw up a turkey sandwich? Pizza and hot dog haven't been good for a very long time. I'm too old to be eating processed meats anyway, so no great loss. However, most of the attendants at the gas station were excellent. The inside workers are almost as good. I'll miss that and seeing folks I worked with in the local area also shopping. I'll tell ya, having consumer goods delivered for little or no charge is spoiling us all. A Costco membership is a "middle class must have" (consumerism) and I am proud to say I had one. I moved over to the East Side from the West Side of Portland a year or so ago, and I have had serious security problems at my home on both sides. I cant count how many times my houses have been robbed. Thinking that at least the Milwaukie Costco is a safe place to shop, I have used it several times. The last 2 times I was there, my car has been robbed during the daylight hours. This time, I figured I was safe, but they grabbed $20 of cooked ribs out of the back of my car as I was pulling away from my parking spot. Last time, they nabbed an expensive cell phone. There appears to be a whole swath of younger people who believe thievery is some kind of fun sport. Thieves have invaded my houses innumerable times. Portland has a serious crime problem, and it is only getting worse. I'm tired of being robbed, but it is evidently a way of life in this town. The pettiness of the thievery is especially appalling, and this beautiful city is getting very ugly to people like me, in fact, its down right disgusting. read more

Love this store, great great great store. They have phenomenal deals on clothing for the entire family as well as an optometrist, pharmacy and a tire center. They have a ton of electronics that are priced very competitively with the box stores as well as software and movies. They used to carry cd's but now seems to be a seasonal thing? Throw in the food and standard grocery items, you can find some amazing stuff. If you have a smaller family, done items you are better off to get in the regular store. Buying the jumbo two pack if peanut butter for a family if 2 or 3? Not a good idea unless you eat a ton if peanut butter. The staff here is very busy, but they will always take time to help you with your questions and or issues. They also have a cafeteria - grab some food to eat before or after you shop. Sure you pay for membership, but the 35 or 100 you spend can save you hundreds or thousands a year. You own a business? Definitely get the executive 100.00 dollar membership and buy your office supplies here. At the end of the year you will receive a percentage if what you spent back in a gift voucher to spend at the store. This location is my favorite, many of the crew here has been working at this location for years. read more

*New change to food court menu* - no more polish hotdog, but there's acai bowl now (have not tried this myself yet). I prefer this Costco over the one near PDX airport. I never have to park too far from the entrance. Layout of the store is easy to navigate. The food court has plenty of seating, and is outside as opposed to being inside like many other Costco. Best part - TONS of food samples on the weekends around lunch time! I've gone here as early as 10 am and as late as 2:30 I'm, and they always had tons of samples. read more

The food court #1 if you don't eat here, you must be crazy or on a diet, this is a real gem! That pizza, those chix bakes, and those hawt diggity dawgs... Don't forget to eat while you shop and save your self some coin. Great prices and warranty on electronics, great service and promos on tires, and all the warehouse goodies you would hope for to save you some coin while making you buy 3x more than you would normally want. Don't forget you have to make it all fit in the freezer when you get home though. Paper products, dairy, frozen, meat, baked goods... you wont be hard pressed to find something you like and as their natural and organic items grow, I think that everyone can be happy here if they are looking for something to fill up your cold box. I'm a big fan of Costco so my review might be biased. I mean I pay $60 a year for membership and get discounted prices on everything from unleaded gas to food. I have saved three times my membership price alone this year. Besides all the FREE samples inside, outside in the food court you can get a 12oz drink and Hotdog or Polish dog for $1.50 We usually get a pizza to take home after shopping a Large Combo pizza is only $9.98 with free cutlery and plates you can't beat that price anywhere. Enjoy the deals come early on Saturday the parking lot is almost at max capacity by 11. The line out the door can be a hassle but nothing I can't handle and if your not into crowds they now deliver through instacart. read more

It's not even so much a gripe with this Costco as it is Kirkland as a whole.... Don't get me wrong, Kirkland signature is absolutely crushing it. From top to bottom, they have you covered. Affordable shampoo and body wash that all smells good, they got you. Feeling lazy and just want to throw a decent meal in the oven?? Oh yeah, they got your back. A pizza, a chicken bake, a churro, a pretzel, smoothie....name it, they got it. Their snack aisle full of goodies, cannot be beaten. AND FOR GOD SAKES, they even have booze and beer now, we simply are not worthy of this luxury. Now here's where the beef comes in. It surely isn't about beef...no, no. Their beef is off the walls. Truly top notch. What I have a problem with (as do 3 of my closest friends that I polled) is their mixed nut variety. Now you see, there's is no lesser than that which we may find at any other grocers. My gripe is, they push the envelope with so many other items, why not the mixed nuts?? I think there is no debating this, but we the people, want a mixed nut variety mix that is simply only cashews and walnuts. We all know, by the end of one of those 2 pound jugs, all that's left is almonds and water nuts...oh yeah, and clear almonds. WHAT IN THE F**K ARE ANY OF THOSE THINGS? So here I am, a man of the people, fan of quality nuts, begging for the ultimate mixed nut variety. Available for the people, by the people.
