Very large Costco parking lot here. Scan your Costco card to enter here. Very busy today, which is the day before Thanksgiving! Christmas items and gifts in full swing here. Pretty organized and somewhat clean considering the crowds here today. Found a nice pair of warm sweat pants lol. Yes, it's pretty darn cold in Portland, OR which is at 32 degrees now, compared to home, which is currently at 72 degrees. Prices are great and of course, no tax! Used the self check out line for quicker service today. Overall 4/5 stars. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Best price- $8.99 on sale for 2 28oz jardls

I was today years old when I realized there was a Costco on SE 84th! In my defense, I typically go to the one in Tigard because it's smaller and easier to navigate, plus I live in the west side. But today after a marathon of appointments around SE 82nd, I wanted to pick up a roasted chicken for dinner. Plus, Rao's marinara sauce was on sale, two 28oz jars for $8.99, usually 12.99. I did a search and there it was, right in SE 84th behind Clackamas Square, hiding in plain sight! On my way to get the chicken, I picked up a beautiful, modern pot shaped like a half moon. It came in black or white and inside are two bromeliads, I chose the yellow bromeliads in a black planter. Three years ago I bought the white version annd absolutely love it. Every Single time I go to Costco, I walk past the plants hoping they will have it again. Today was the day. This is your typical Costco, all the norms plus a Costco gas in the parking lot. The one thing I did notice as unique, is their food court area has an inside and an outside seating. The outside seating is under a roof with open sides. If you are going to eat at Costco, then the outdoor patio is the way to go. Glad I found this location, and since I am frequently out this way, I know I can always make a quick Costco run.

This is the half full cup of the strawberry Sunday served.

On 9/3/25 @ 6:54pm, my husband stopped in for ice cream & a slice of pizza from the deli at the Clacmamas, Oregon store. He purchased me a strawberry sundae. Kevin, the young guy who served him, put a less than half full cup of sloppy ice cream & strawberries on the counter with his melted chocolate ice cream they had gotten ready earlier while it sat there, melted & then called his #. My husband asked, "What's this?" He completely ignored him. He then said, "This is only a half cup, I didn't pay half price!" Kevin responded with, "Sorry Man. We're low on ice cream right now."...as they were filling the machine. He just ignored him. My husband said all the previous strawberry sundaes looked normal. Have had Costco 30+ years & never had this poor or customer service before. I hope this isn't a sign of what's to come.

What not to like about this Costco location. It seems more laid back then the Tigard location. Today was not so busy...I went looking for some potential Valentines goodies and found a few even though it's close to a month away. Got to grab them before they are gone! Seems like anything that is great is sold out before the holiday. They had some Godiva chocolate hearts, Lindt Lindor matcha truffles and some strawberry and yogurt pretzels. Yum! I have a pretzel weakness. Happy I found some items. I love Costco it is ever changing and they have great customer service.

Disgusting. Chicken Bone found inside of Blueberry Muffin. How does this even make it into the batter??

Great prices you could get 100 jars of pasta sauce for 50$ although I don't know what you would want to do with 100 jars of pasta sauce

    Ask the Community - Costco

What about a Costco near Troutdale?

The closest Costco to Troutdale is the one on 4849 NE 138th Avenue. Near the airport.

Does Costco Corporate have any plans to open another Costco south of the Clackamas Store? Anyone know any thing? The store, while full of longtime, loyal employees, is getting really over crowded.

There's a location in North Wilsonville already. Right off of I-5.

For local ingredients the Farmers Market is the best source but be expected to pay 3x what they're worth (trust me I know I used to sell my goods at Farmers Markets). This C&C is clean and well stocked. They have an enormous variety and great weekly specials. I enjoy receiving coupons in the mail and finding new products when I visit weekly sometimes twice a week. You get to know the high volume times as well as the low volume times. Honestly, there are days and times when you have the entire store to yourself or you're stuck in line way back behind all the folks who thinks this is CostCo. Drives me nuts. I loved this store even more back when you had to prove you had a small business and it was exclusive but those days have long since passed and for some strange reason keeps the conversation with the employees humorous. Every time I've picked up the wrong thing - wrong yeast - wrong cheese - whatever, they are totally cool with bringing it back and exchanging it. No questions asked which is more than I can say for most food stores. And plus they will actually start carrying an item if you request it which also a huge bonus (my beloved Shepherd's Grain Flour I could only find at Puratos in BFE). So if you need excellent customer service, a huge selection and don't mind the folks who go there to buy one single carton of eggs to hold up the line you are in for a treat. I know I am - I'll be heading over in about a half hour to get my weekly goods.

Found the two I wanted and then was told that a shower bath combo was "sold to someone else already" even though there were about 20 of them out there. I comprimised after having driven all the way there, and purchased two tubs showers and multiple plumbing supplies. Was then offered no assistance in loading them or instructions on what works for packing them. They then fell off the truck on I 84. part o that was my fault, but only one small part of the shower fell off and broke. I went back to buy that part, but was told that I had to buy the entire shower again. There was no remorse for having no one to assist me in loading, or to tell me the best way to pack them on a trailer. Partly my fault, but the lack of customer service or concern seemed horrible to me. I had to buy the entire shower again, they gave it to me at cost. If I didn't have a whole day into it 7 plus hours, and a plumber waiting for the install, I would have brought everything back. No respect or service from this store, I'll never go back.

I asked for an estimate for repairs and a price on a rebuilt. I was told someone would contact me. No one followed up with me. He told me after looking at the unit the repairs would be about $4000. When I called the following week I was told that they thought they were waiting on the parts to come in even though I had never seen an estimate and those parts were never ordered by them. I again asked for an estimate and one came to me a few days later. It was for over $10,000. And then the bill came in a week later for the estimate. I was being billed $182 just for the estimate. I've never been billed for an estimate from any company before and was not told there would be a charge for one this time. When I called to talk to someone about the charge I was told the owner would get in touch with me. No such call has taken place to date. I think this speaks a lot for how they think of their customers. I would recommend extreme caution dealing with this company. I certainly will not have any contact with them in the future.

We bring it in, the full office stall looked up then immediately looked back down at their desk. ??? We proceed to describe to Troy what we need and we were assured that someone would get back to us with the information on the "fix" and the cost. Now I'll need to tell you that a one way trip to this joke of a business is 45 minutes for us, but I need my machine. I didn't hear from them until I called a week and a half later. They said they would order the parts and fix the problem with the 3rd gear and a spring, and strain relief cord for $450. We agreed. Another 2 weeks go by and again nothing so I call again. This time Conrad the tech tells me that the casing for the 3rd gear is cracked and that they can't fix it, the part for my machine is no longer available. He said we could pick it up. A couple of days later Conrad calls and gives me a quote for a new machine, starting to smell a bit fishy yes? Funny thing is after we finally pick it up and my husband takes it apart, the area that where supposed casing was cracked wasn't accessed, it still had the old grease from the original manufacturer, under the blue stuff Bach's jammed in. A week after this we go to pick it up and the service manager Troy tells us that the machine is open but they do not know what's wrong but some parts were on order. WTH???! They asked us to leave it again and they will call us and let us know when it is ready. Are you sensing a pattern here? Dumb right hand, idiot left hand? Another week goes by, we have to call again. Yes, no real knowledge of my machine and absolutely no customer service integrity. What exactly are they celebrating 50 years about and how? Sure, I'm just a small customer but they accepted our machine but couldn't show any professional courtesy, none. So this time (#3) and after roughly 5.5 hours of driving en total they tell us they can't help us after all, Troy the front desk monkey cannot explain why. We get it home and make the discovery I mentioned above. If they are too big of a company to take care of small town small customer they should not have strung us along and looked and acted like incompetent monkeys. What they have going for them is the monopoly on Hobart sales and service. They should be ashamed but I doubt if this is something they know anything about. The one star is for the Hobart name machines only. (And yelp will not allow no stars) I MADE A COURTESY CALL AT YOUR REQUEST AND LEFT A MESSAGE, NO REPLY TO DATE. It's no wonder we received the treatment we got.
