If you can ignore the fact that they jacked up the prices of all menu items $40 for two small salads and one quesadilla with no meat, you can slowly work your way through line and select your food and then get to the checkout to find that they only take cash. A glitch maybe? System is down? Nope! Guy said change in ownership has had their card machine down for four straight days now! Then to order a small drink and run over to where the strawberry lemonade or horchata is supposed to be only to find that those machines aren't working either! Wow! Poorly run place. Okay, so I walked in here for the first time and didn't know what to choose because everything looked so good. So I decided to get the chicken nachos, small chicken tortilla salad, and a small enchilada plate. All for myself. Anyway, I was soon on my merry way with my takeout. I paired my food with an IPA, and had a feast at home with Netflix. But my enjoyment was pretty much the idea of Mexican food and beer. The food was aite. Importantly, it was salty as hell. Saltier than Chipotle. I could hardly eat any of the chicken without taking down heaps of lettuce, but because their lettuce portion sizes are teensy, I was soon out of lettuce and left with meat. The leftover meat went straight to the trash. The enchilada was pretty basic, surprisingly so. But, this place still gets 4 stars because the chicken nachos were yummy. Costa-Vida has become our go-to place for salads! The large chicken salad is big enough to easily feed two people (just make sure to get an extra tomatillo ranch dressing)! The staff at the queensgate location are mostly late-teens and they do such a great job (thank you Ethan) and we love supporting an establishment who is willing to prepare our youth for adulthood. Hightly recommend ordering off menu once in a while as well.... Get some tortillas and queso and you will be glad you did! Great place, great food, great people! read more

They did a great job feeling covid safe and making the best tortillas in the world, as always.

Not gonna lie was t half bad, meat was tender, everything in my burrito tasted great and the red Molé sauce wasn't half bad 9/10!

Portions are smaller, over priced and flavors are watered down. Closed on Sunday. I prefer Chipotle.

I really wanted to give 5 stars, because I love their food. However, the refried beans and rice were cold. I didn't take it to go either. There were about 2 employees that were working hard and fast. The line was practically to the door and I think her name tag said Emma, she was awesome. Getting customers going and keeping a really good pace. The rest was a little slow. Anyway, there were 2 girls standing in the back talking to each other and I couldn't understand why they couldn't jump in and help... it would've helped people get through the line more quickly since there were quite a few of us waiting. The guy doing to to go orders for pick up was the other employee that was working fast and he had quite a few ticket orders to fill from what I could see. I agree with another reviewer who said this is kind of like a Taco Del Mar. It does smell wonderful when you walk in. I found the menu confusing to read. I was trying to find their "classics" menu and finally figured out it was on a board where they showed ONE item and that ONE item kept changing, so you had to watch the board change to see the entire classics menu. On the other hand, other menus were "listed." I ordered chicken enchiladas. Actually, I ordered enchiladas and asked if I could have one chicken and one pork. You can do that! You can also say one corn tortilla and one flour tortilla if you like to mix it up, no extra charge. I asked for NO beans, was told that was ok. The rice you got with it was good, but not as good as cilantro rice that another establishment similar to this does. You can get sauce, lettuce, and tomatoes free, but if you want sour cream or guacamole, those are EXTRA. That kind of ticked me off...... Your dinner is served in a disposable aluminum foil cake pan. Interesting! I found the "sweet pork" to be a little sweeter than I like. The chicken was good. I've had better, I've had worse. So, three stars for this. My friend and I were quite surprised at how busy it was with families for a Saturday night. As for parking an RV, NO ROOM AT ALL unless you park across the street at Home Depot and walk over. We went to the Gage Blvd location, ordered 3 daily specials, 2 sweet pork enchiladas. When my daughter got home our orders only had 1 enchilada in each. My daughter also stated the guy that made our order had a lot of trouble understanding the menu and probably contributed to our order being wrong. I called the restaurant and no one answered, big surprise. I visited their website and let them know the service poor and we didn't get what we ordered. I did rate them low for for this. They offered to return my call, I left my number but guess what, no one ever called. I've waited three weeks! The service is usually OK and the food average. Since they didn't have the decency to call me and try and correct this issue we won't go back. If your looking for fast Mexican food, go somewhere else you'll probably be treated better! read more
