Avoid This Place at All Costs! If you value your health and your money, do yourself a favor and stay far away from this restaurant. They specialize in grilled chicken, but based on what I was served, they have no business doing so. I paid $18.50 for a meal that consisted of a chicken leg and thigh with rice, beans, and some cold, sautéed onions and green chile. The salsa was not spicy at all. It looked liked they put a tomato and water in the blender and called it a salsa. The chicken was undercooked, reheated, not tender, and had a terrible smell--a clear sign that it was not fresh or properly prepared. To make matters worse, the meal came with only two tortillas, which felt like a joke considering the price. Customer service? Terrible. No care, no effort, and no regard for the quality of the food being served. The only halfway decent thing on the plate was the beans, the atmosphere was nice and the place looked clean but even that wasn't enough to make up for the disaster of a meal. I will never be coming back, and my message to the owner is simple: Would you eat this? If the answer is no, then why are you serving it to paying customers at an outrageous price? Think about the food you're putting out before expecting people to spend their hard-earned money on it. Save yourself the disappointment (or worse, food poisoning) and eat somewhere else. read more

Great- the home made tortillas, charro beans, and Mexican soda. Needs improvement: the chicken was missing seasoning and smoked flavor. I got the whole chicken meal for 4 people, which included 8 small pieces of chicken. When I inquired if this was the whole chicken. I was told " yes, we can only grilled 3 lb chicken to make sure it cooks well". The chicken was cooked but had blood in between the meat, as if it had been beaten prior to be killed. The rices overcooked and mushy. Salsa was given in a small containers as it was golden. No limes served. It is definitely not worth it to pay $60.00 and be left feeling hungry. We order online and that's easy to use. When we picked up the food the people are friendly and efficient. The food is delicious and you get a lot of it. Definitely get an extra tortilla because it tastes amazing just on its own! We will definitely be back! read more

This restaurant is conveniently next to Underground Taphouse, so you can order your food and take it over there. They have a lot of whole chicken selections, also traditional tacos. Also fried gizzards, which I've not seen before, that they serve with waffle fries. The clerk was super friendly and knowledgeable. It was a pretty fun restaurant. We came here for casual date night but would definitely come with the family next time. It was all quite tasty! read more
