    Tons of great options!

Let me be honest, what the world needs is more Costa Vida! This is one of our favorite family spots. With five young children it's hard to find a place that works for everyone. There is something for everyone at Costa Vida and with all of the available options we can customize and try something new or go back to our favorites. I'm a big fan of the mango chicken salad with the house dressing. It hits the spot and there is usually a little extra. My wife and I usually get a steak burrito as well. For the kids, we usually get chicken tacos. The kids meals are great. For $3.99 it fills them up. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual. Their stores are clean and well maintained. I eat here weekly and I find that the servers are happy and helpful. For a fun family experience I give it five stars!

    Tiny $11 Burrito

Paying $11 for a tiny 'burrito'. This thing has hardly anything inside it and is pathetic. All I could taste is tortilla. Biggest waste of money. Not filled up. Not satisfied. Worker asked me.. "how's your day going".. a whole lot worse now. Save yourself a ruined day and go to chipotle or cafe rio or really anywhere but here.

Americanized Mexican food. Tasty, consistent, but nothing special. They have every day student specials, which are great.

By far my favorite Mexi place in all of Provo. Great for business meetings and for those that bring kids. Definitely better than Cafe Rio.

They ALWAYS screw something up at this location. Don't bother ordering online as it won't be ready! Won't be back!!

It was good. I liked the sweet pork. Not authentic Mexican food, and not spicy enough, but decent for a meal if you're hungry.

My waiter only barely spoke English but we could figure it out. The chips & salsa they set down was a mixed result. The chips were terrific. The salsa was a small kind of watery bowl that tasted much more sour than usual. It was okay. Just not as good as the chips. I ordered the Taconazo after ascertaining that it was a variant on carne asada. I asked if it came with tortillas. Si. It came pretty fast and he pointed to a station to one side of the dining area and said, "Salsas!" Sadly the salsa cups were tiny. I could barely fit any pickled onions inside. There were also some big jugs of various agua frescas there, nestled in ice. The "Taconazo" consisted of LOTS of onions, peppers, cheese, crispy bacon(!), cactus, and strips of steak. I liked it quite a bit. There was a bit of trouble at the end. My food was 15.99 but my bill was $21. So I asked for a itemized bill (tips weren't included). Turned out they'd charged me $2.99 for a fountain drink, but I'd only had water. I showed them the error. Rather than change the bill, they just handed me $3 in bills so that worked. (Yes I tipped.) Anyway good food with only minor glitches, and I'll be trying it again.

I have eaten at these locations (though mostly at the 100 S location) for YEARS. In all those years I have NEVER had a bad bite of food! I grew up in Southern California, so my standard for tacos and Mexican food is informed by the food that the first or second generation mothers of my Latino friends served me at their tables. The carnitas is ALWAYS succulent and never dry. The carne asada (while not necessarily the "best" I've ever had) is as good as any around here. But...if you like tortas, trust me, order one here (you'll take half of it home), and you'll throw rocks at the next one you order somewhere else! The bread, everything...on point! Their chips (I don't know if they're homemade or not) are the absolute BEST I've had at ANY restaurant around here. And their salsa bar is perfection. They have this one medium heat salsa that first hits your palette with a smoky taste, and then finishes with a little bite. I frequently ask them to sell me a quart to take home when I eat here. At the 100 E location, DO NOT let the location or the outdoor dining under tents dissuade you. This place is fire! Go here!

The birria and sides were as good as other places we've gone to without the inflated prices. The only thing we were kind of meh about was the fries themselves (though all the toppings were great), but other than that, I'd say this place is solid and we definitely plan on coming back! Added bonus: They really put a lot of care into the decor. Their hanging flowers were cool to sit under.
