The old office has no sign that they moved and the staff doesn't know how to give directions. When you fill out the forms in the office, bring your lawyer. You are not required, by law, to give them everything on the form, but they can, and will, refuse treatment if you don't surrender your information to them. He took a series of pictures both before and after. He was very gentle and meticulous during the procedure and really calmed my nerves throughout. Their office environment was also very modern, sanitary and orderly. As a professional and periodontist his ratings here should be much higher than what I am seeing. I rated him a 4 out of 5 minus the staff, who weren't the most personable, however at the end of the day I was there to see the doctor not the staff.

At every visit, they required full payment upfront without waiting for an EOB from the insurance company. I paid all charges in good faith. Now, after completing treatment, they have sent me an additional bill claiming that insurance did not cover my treatment. This is completely opposite of what I was told during my last phone conversation with their staff, when I was assured that I had no remaining balance. I feel misled and taken advantage of. The office staff member I spoke with was also rude, which made the situation even more frustrating.

He painlessly treated two teeth, created, and permanently placed a crown. The expert care that I've received at Lansdowne Family Dental is literally worth crossing the Atlantic for. I can't say enough positive things about their practice, highly recommend. **2021 Original Review** Our experience with Dr. Elosta at Lansdowne Family Dental has been second to none. My husband and I recently moved from out of state and we were under the impression that our dental care was adequately addressed. I started having issues with a tooth in March, so I went to Neo Smiles in Herndon for an evaluation. They were professional and filled my cavity but advised that it was very near the root and that I had a number of other issues that needed to be addressed as well as a poorly done crown that needed to be replaced. Needless to say I went for a second opinion and was lucky enough to find Dr. Elosta's office. He took the time to walk me through the work I would need, examined the filling provided by Neo Smiles (which he said was well done) and addressed my significant dental anxiety. I'm happy to say that I've completed my entire course of treatment and that I have complete faith in Dr. Elosta's skill and bedside manner as a dentist. To underscore my experience, my husband also went to Dr. Elosta's office for a dental check up. He decided to go elsewhere to have a second opinion. That dentist (who I'll refrain from naming), irresponsibly and unethically told him that he could have fillings completed in lieu of his crowns. As my husband was mid treatment at that other office, the Dentist changed his mind and declared he was wrong and the teeth in question did in fact require crowns. Wasn't forceful or coercive at all plus I am grown and know how to say "no thanks". For all the 744 x-rays (jk) for a whopping "covered by insurance" or their "$99 first time customer special" I think their fees are beyond fair.
