All of the aestheticians who worked on the four of us were very kind very nice. They did not speak in their native language to each other, like some places, dude. I had a gentleman by the name of Alan who worked on my pedicure. He was very professional and did a great job and took his time. I highly recommend requesting him. read more

My daughters introduced me to Cosmo. I've been several times for pedicures. On this visit I decided I wanted my nails done too. It's been awhile so I ask for a price list. The lady handed me a price list from the stack of pamphlets sitting on the counter. When it was time to checkout none of the prices matched the charges. I brought this to her attention and she said the list she gave me was old. She refused to honor the prices and said there was no manager or anyone else who would change the prices. Helen did a great job on my nails. I loved the Christmas design. Allen got me the worse pedicure EVER. Victoria gave my husband the BEST pedicure. There are an abundance of nail salon so I won't be back. Customer service means a lot and on this day they had NONE. read more

Cosmo Nails - My heel after the pedicure - Skin Care Near Me - Flower Mound, Texas

Came here with my coworker last night and asked for gel no chip. They didn't have the first two color choices I asked for so I settled for a Christmasy sparkle that was shown to me. Firstly, the process was so rushed. I think it took him maybe 15 minutes to finish about 4 layers. The job he did was HORRIBLE. Lumpy and uneven on my right hand and 2 fingers on my right. When I asked to redo them he seemed frustrated. He quickly sanded them down and then a lady came took over and asked me what was wrong. I told her they're lumpy and he didn't file them hardly at all. She started to fix it but during the process kept tossing my hand back to me. And the job STILL is imperfect. She tried to say it was because I choose glitter. This isn't my first no chip manicure, I've had glitter done perfectly on long and short nails. I don't think he took his time. He was using a gel lamp that said Peter on it, so avoid him at all costs. It's the holiday season and I still tipped but if it was any other time of year, I wouldn't have. read more

Honestly reay disappointed in Cosmo lately. I've used to come regularly on Fridays, which is a busier day for Cosmo, but have moved to Tuesdays because of my schedule and WOWZA is the service I get on slow days way different than on busy days....in a bad way. In the last few weeks I've had multiple nails break/snap just a couple of days after getting my nails done. I am a server so I work with my hands a lot, but I tell my techs this so they can hopefully make them a bit thicker so they last. I had a nail crack literally an hour after I left. This isn't just me either. I have several friends who used to love Cosmo but have left due to poor nail quality Because they arent as busy, they almost seem bothered to have customers on slow days. Today I literally heard one of them say they didn't want to do my nails. All some of them seemingly want to do is be on their phones. This doesn't apply to all the techs there today/on slow days but...for a lot of them yea. IMO as someone working in the service industry, I try to give better service on slow days because a) I can and b) I have less opportunities to actually get tips. The worst part of it though is how they actually do the service. The woman doing my nails was asking me questions about my nails and what I wanted but wasn't even looking at me. Then, BOTH of my techs cut me. The woman doing my pedicure was scrubbing my foot and it hurt so bad. She scrubbed the side of my toe raw and took off a whole layer of skin. The other tech sliced the side of my thumb and I have a cut. There was no making sure I liked color or shape & my pedicurist spilt half the bag of hot wax, laughed, and half assed put it on my foot. Look, for my pedicure I usually don't care like that but with all the other unprofessionalism I was just annoyed. My pedicurist messed up one of my toes and didn't fix it then when she was done, said nothing, walked away and I never saw her again. My nail tech finished, asked if I wanted cuticle oil and I said yes. Usually the techs will wait a few minutes for your nails to dry then oil them and ask you to go wash your hands. This tech put some on my knuckles, told me to wait and rub it on my nail in two minutes, then walked away and I didn't see her again either. Two minutes goes by, the oil is dried up and I walk over to wash my hands to see my tech sitting on her phone. This honestly isn't the first time I have had problems with this particular nail tech at Cosmo, so when she came over to do my nails I automatically knew it was going to be less than ideal. Sad because I've been a long time Cosmo customer but it's frustrating to spend so much money and have the value not stack up. read more

Not impressed - polish change was sloppy, bubbly and uneven and overall isn't very clean finish across the nail bed. For just polished they look a week grown out. Salon kinda dirty and the station I sat at didn't even look cleaned from the last person. read more

So... while they did a pretty good job on my nails... the salon itself was extremely dirty and the pedicure chairs looked like they had never been cleaned before. I got my nails done just yesterday, and my ring finger is already red, swollen, and painful with what looks like puss coming out of it (like it's infected...) I seriously seriously do not recommend this salon... I came here solely based off of good yelp reviews and was sadly mistaken. read more

I've tried Cosmo nails 2 times now and both experiences have sucked. This last attempt my French manicure looked like my 12 year old painted it and we waited 26 minutes even after booking an appt. I'm 45 and never had a French this bad. My nail tech could not at all understand what I was trying to say. The top coat didn't even cover the entire nail and was a single coat. Will not make this mistake again and suggest you save your hard earned self care for a business that cares more about quality than how many people they can turn over and pack in. read more

First of all- I am extremely picky when it comes to nail salons. I loved how when I walked in they asked if I could wash my hands before picking a color... because I don't know where people's hands have been and the extra step is a tiny detail but one that protects the customers! Everyone here is so kind and they work hard to make sure you feel comfortable. Tbh if you come here and say the customer service or cleanliness is not top notch, you're probably leaving negative reviews hoping to get free services. Nails look gorgeous, the tech took her time, was gentle with my nails, and did EXACTLY what I asked for no questions asked. The place is very clean, and more importantly it is sanitized. I think some people don't understand the difference between dust and germs and it shows. Anyway- If you are hyper critical of your nails and are a perfectionist like I am you definitely need to give this place some love. You are in good hands! read more

I've been coming to see Jesse for a few months now for my nails, and every single set I get from her is PERFECTION. She knows exactly how I like the length, shape, thickness, color, etc. She is so good at shaping nails, especially with the almond shape. I just walk in, pick a color, and sit back and relax while she does the rest. I don't even have to tell her anything because she already knows what to do. Her energy is so positive everytime I see her, and I look forward to our conversations when I get my nails done. She really is an asset to this place because she brings such a positive attitude to work. She genuinely cares about me and how I'm doing, and I love that about her. Honestly a pleasant experience! This was my first time at Cosmo Nails and I loved my experience. I came in for a full set of Nexgen dip nails ($40) and a classic pedicure ($35), and as soon as I walked in, I was greeted and helped by Anna. She helped me select my colors and did my pedicure, while making an enjoyable conversation. Very kind woman! When I came over to do my nails, the woman doing them (whose name I unfortunately did not catch) was also very kind and efficient. Though she was quick, she was nonetheless diligent and paid close attention to detail. I loved their kindness and efficiency at this shop and would definitely recommend to anyone in the area. I got my eyebrows microbladed by Lynn and she did an amazing job! She really takes the time to make sure the eyebrows are measured out to fit your face shape and eye shape. She asks how you would like your eyebrows shaped in the beginning so she has a good idea of what you are looking for. Her attention to detail is amazing. After penciling in the eyebrows, she asks and makes sure you like the shape of the eyebrows. She also makes sure that the eyebrows are nice and numbed so that there is hardly any pain. After you finish your first round, she gives you some ointment to help with the healing and to make sure that your eyebrows don't scab over. Throughout the healing process she was texting to make sure that it was healing correctly and making sure I still liked the eyebrows. She scheduled my touch up appointment and now my eyebrows are perfect! Disclaimer: the first round, with scabbing the eyebrows may lose some pigment so it is so important to make sure that you go to the touch up appointment. Lynn did such an amazing job! I am so happy with my eyebrows. Also, she does an amazing job on nails! I asked for mermaid nails and boy did she deliver. I absolutely love them!! read more

onychomycosis Now while I dont know that I can completely blame them for my nail fungus, I will say Im a 33 year old male who has never had nail fungal issues, not have I ever had pedicures. I came here twice with my girlfriend to have pedis, both during quarantine. Both times everything seemed super hygienic. Quarantine standards, as well as the care given during the treatment. The first trip after, I noticed no discoloration. The second trip however I did. After my sweet green beens started losing their shiny new coat, i noticed a whitish discoloration near the tips of my toe nails. I negligently just assumed this was like some sort of bonding agent or part of the mixture of the polish color. It had pretty well grown out to the point that it covered about a third of my nails or less, so i removed it. The white was clearly in my nails so I started my male habit of searching and figuring things out. Turns out my girlfriend and I had both contracted a nail fungus from the same visit. She also had no idea what it was and never experienced it before, but was hesitant on acknowledging it until I brought it up. I did really enjoy the pedicures here! I the staff was a lot of fun, and they did give excellent attention. They made small talk and seemed to really enjoy giving us extra attention with me being a male and willing to crack jokes with them. Maybe it was just a fluke. I am having to treat my fungal nails and now kinda not into the idea of getting nail treatments after this was only my second visit to get one. read more

My favorite place to get my nails done. It's really hard to find a good nail place that is consistent. I have never found a salon I really loved to go to and that wasn't a different experience every time I come in. Cosmo Nails is the first place I really enjoyed going to and look forward too. I've been coming here since June 2021 and I haven't stopped or even thought about changing my salon. This place ROCKS. Tien is one of the most talented and kind people I have met and her ability to do a FANTATIC nail is off the charts. Not only do they look natural, they LAST. Literally the worst nails I've ever gotten in my life. They told me they were dry, and obviously were not. You would think after an hour they'd be completely dry, but nope. went back twice for them to fix them and finally got fed up and got a refund. Don't waste your time or money here Update: see pictures below. He changed his name after I reported him, and I was unsure what my tech's name was. It originally said Erik. After seeing recent reviews I realized that it was him that sent me this. Be careful leaving a negative review or else they'll send you derogatory messages. I tried calling the store to report him and the phone line is disconnected or not set up. Update again: I was able to find the original screenshot. read more

Oh my gosh! After going to a nail salon in the area that would multilane my cuticles and cut me all over my fingers, I had actual anxiety about getting my nails done. I finally decided enough was enough and went to Cosmo Nails after hearing amazing reviews. I had Hollie as my nail tech and I swear I could've fallen asleep while getting them done. The process was so relaxing and they listened to my experience from the old nail salon and really made my time there enjoyable. This will forever be my new nail place. And on top of that, they can actually do designs, unlike anywhere I had been previously. 10000/10 read more

Honestly I decided to give this place a shot despite feeling iffy about it because of the reviews. Atmosphere: alright, nothing too fancy just a basic nail salon. The front can get a little cluttered. Service: wasn't offered any drink (even water) while I was there for an hour and a half. For me application and atmosphere are important but not as important as customer service. I came in there knowing exactly what I wanted and the lady kept trying to convince me to get the dip when I wanted acrylic. She asked me twice, had the pedicure lady ask my again, and have the manicure person ask me again. Pretty annoying but I got over it. The lady and guy did a good job on the actual service. Now the reason why I'll never come back here again is because when I went to check out I was upcharged for something I wasn't told about. It was for longer nails, which was $5? I literally asked the guy to do my nails as short as he can. I don't mind paying for something if I know I'm paying for it. I don't appreciate sneaky. He didn't once mention it then the lady still tried to charge me for it even after I told her. Overall, it was an okay experience but I won't be back. I value honesty and customer service, which I wasn't impressed with. read more

Came here on Saturday with an 11 AM appointment. Had to wait probably 10 minutes. It's a busy salon and my guess is it's like any other, your experience will depend on who you get. My experience was good, maybe a little better than average. The people seemed very nice. I got NexGen manicure and they look OK, maybe a little too thick, but fine. She didn't clean up some of the powder from the skin and I think that is because they also do manicures in the back pedicure area where the lighting is bad. In addition the floors really needed cleaning in my opinion. Nextgen manicure cost was $36. read more

I love cosmos nails. Peter and v are amazing. Services always great. Prices are reasonable.

Not too impressed with this nail spa. First off, i booked an appointment over the phone with Eric because i saw all the reviews mentioning him but when i got there i waited 15-20 mins just for a completely different person to come out AND that same person left halfway through the session and had someone else take over MID session. The nails were decent but one broke off 2 days later and they charged me extra for length when they were not extra long whatsoever. Not super happy with my first experience and not too sure if i'll be returning. read more

Not welcoming, I've been going for the past 6 months and feel less welcome every time I go. I came here years ago but it's a bit of a drive because I live in Flower Mound on lake Grapevine. I returned because they're known for their quality and nail designs. My nails have looked great but it's an uncomfortable place to visit. I'm in the beauty industry, I expect to be blown away since this is a standard I expect from myself. Last time I went I paid $80 for chrome nails and a small design on my ring fingers, I feel this is excessive. However, I would gladly pay that for quality nails and great customer service. read more

Let me preface this by saying I usually drive out to Southlake to get my nails done and I have been spoiled beyond belief at my regular salon over the last 4 years. Due to covid my regular techs have not been working when I can get in to see them which is mainly nights and weekends. None of my regular techs were available today when I was off work so I decided to try a place closer to home. This place had the best reviews. Pros: They were super kind and gentle. Which my thin nails needed. Lynn was very kind and I honestly appreciate that that's why I'm giving this place 2 stars instead of one. Cons: -If your spoiled, obsessive and teetering in the side of bougie, about your nails and the salons you frequent. This is not the place to go. It's legit old. All the chairs are cracked and peeling. It is not well kept for a salon in Highland Village. It feels dirty and to be honest, chairs are an easy thing to update. -They will charge you $5 to soak off your nails... if you got them put on somewhere else, but they won't tell you that until after you nails are done. That's some shady business practices right there. My regular, over priced salon in Southlake would never do that. -Lynn was sloppy. My nails look fine but my hands and cuticles are covered in black. -Lynn knew I was trying out a new place and you would think she would have tried a little harder to earn a new client... unfortunately that didn't happen. I'll be heading back to Southlake next weekend. -The only Covid protocol I saw was hand washing. The client next to me was not wearing a mask and she was maybe 2 ft from me. There were no plexiglass partitions between me and the nail tech. The most frequent complaint in reviews about my regular place is the high price. I have learned today... you definitely are paying for cleanliness, exceptional detail and high levels of Covid protocols. I am disappointed this salon did not reflect its great reviews. I was hopeful to find a place closer to home. read more
